You can't even buy wine in the supermarkets there. A group of us were watching a movie, drinking screwdrivers and it dawned on us that tomorrow was Sunday. Liquor stores are closed on Sunday. Monday was a legal holiday. Liquor stores are closed on legal holidays. Tuesday was an election day. Liquor stores are closed on election days. Boy, were we in a panic as we drove like bats out of hell to stock up since the stores would be closed until Wednesday! I hate beer but you're right- 3.2 doesn't make sense. But man! Not that I think Sharia Law should in any way exist in the United States, because it shouldn't. But neither should politicians legislate from the Bible, which is what Oklahoma politicians (Dem and Repub) love to do. They need to also ban state judges (and legislators) from relying on the Bible when interpreting the law. |
