You should live in our neighborhood. We are over run by cats. I would be a lot more offended, but the cat populationi is far too large from people not fixing their cats, allowing for endless population growth. There really aren't a lot of predators for domestic cats. I've adopted three already and have a fourth trying to get in our house daily. He will proably make it too, if he is still around when it is super cold. All three of mine are fixed, but a couple of neighbors just keep letting them breed. The only population control is a certain few neighbors shooting them. This is pretty much a mercy killing, as a lot of them are not real healthy, but I don't really have the heart to do it. Fix your cats like Mr. Barker said, and they wouldn't be available to feed to a snake. OP - stop feeding your cats domestic animals, as it really outrages people, will likely get you arrested for animal cruelty, and thrown in jail for a longer term then a murder.

Snake would die if it doesn't get live food. Imagine the poor skinny snake starving to death, all its rib bones showing through, if those kittens weren't in there. Poor skinny hungry snake.
