Can not wait till it is stopped via the relief wells. Lunatics all over this site making it 1000x worse than it actually is. Same deal in 1979 went on for 9 months, if GLP was around back then and 24-7 news it would be a carbon damn copy. No long term doom came of that one, nor will it from this one.  Mother nature is also pretty darn good at cleaning this stuff on its own over time. Could you go into a little more detail about what happened in 1979? Where did the spill/leak occur? How did they stop it? What, if any, were the long term affects of the oil in the local environment?
