Its true what Gerald Celente tells all that has happened. Where are the mom and pop stores? Gone. People can now see Obama does not work for the people he works for Wall Street. That chemical Corexit that BP dumped in the Gulf, how well did that do on Wall Street trading, I wonder. Gerald Celente and Alex Jones and others are just reporting what can be seen. The elephant in the room is scarcity of resources, and I believe is the cause for a lot of this. Not just manipulation of fiat money. Getting China to open up has only accelerated this process causing many natural resources to accelerate in price. Look at shipping costs, oils, food etc.

No matter, it does not take a scientist to understand what happens to a petri dish of bacteria that reproduce before they start eating each other once the food is gone.

If the grid and infrastructure collapses, then just as in times of old, survival is numero uno by whatever means is neccessary. With almost 7 billion on the planet competing for survival, there is no place you can run to be safe i.e., go hunting out in the woods, because millions of others will have the same idea.

There really is no plan that is fool proof but only luck and hope.

And btw, the system has been "collapsing" since at least 1978, according to all of these folks. Books were on the shelves of bookstores in the late 70s and early 80s with titles like: "The Imminent Great Super Depression" or "The Coming Great Economic Disaster" and "The Big Crash is Coming".

But it didn't happen when they said it would happen.. back then.

Why? Well, that is complicated but the bottom line is that TPTB know how to play the economic shell game very well. They have been playing it for generations and longer.

Paper money has been utterly worthless in the US, the UK and virtually all other places since at least before World War II.

Go ahead and do your research. Find out when was the last time that the US dollar was tied into the gold standard... or any other valuable commodity for that matter.

Then do some more research and find out when was the last time that the dollar was attached to the gold standard AND US private citizens were allowed to own gold bullion... at the same time.

If you are too lazy to do that research or you are just too bored, I will make it easy for you and tell you that the last time these two factors were in play was in 1935.

Now, when was the last time that US currency was actually being printed and distributed according to the tenets of the US Constitution? In other words, when was the last time that the US Congress and the US Congress alone had the authority to print, coin and distribute US currency?

That was in 1912, of course, back before the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank. And if you know anything at all, then you know that the Fed is not a US government institution at all, it is a private bank controlled exclusively by private banksters.

And yet somehow, the shell game has continued for all this time. And as long as people can be fooled into thinking that paper currency has value, then it will continue some more.

By the way.. don't get too excited about the idea of obtaining gold as a "safe haven." Surely you must know that these very same "powers-that-be," these very same banksters, as it were, own and control all of the gold too.

Lester, Celente, AJ, Chapman and others have been saying for years that the collapse is intentional. That is a point they make that I am not sold on, it seems an inevitable consequence of fiat financing where monetary expansion is required to keep the hot air balloon afloat. Perhaps TPTB are taking advantage of a crumbling system via derivatives and bailouts because their control grid collapsed?
