URGENT - Martha Oil Fields in Eastern KY - 1,000 mrd radioactivity from oil - VIDEO!
This is to show the people who are unaware of this danger. Radioactive oil is not a theory, it is a fact!

In Eastern Kentucky, an abandoned oil field called Martha Oil Fields is highly radioactive. In this video a Radiation Safety Officer Wade Smith tests the region and shows very high levels of radiation.

500 mrd, 800 mrd, 1,000 mrd.....It is well beyond the 30 mrd safety limit for human exposure.

[link to mbdfilms.com]

We MUST consider the possibility the Deepwater Horizon Spill is radioactive. Even though a Florida tarball has tested very low, it does not mean the more recent oil flow is at higher radioactive levels. After all, the first oil out was on the top, less active. For what ever the reason the Florida tarball tested low, the actions of the government are highly suspicious.

Lets look at a few clues.... If the Oil Spill is radioactive beyond safe limits we can expect a few things to occur.

(1) The responsible parties would try to sink the oil as fast as possible regardless of the environmental impacts of the toxic solvents.

(2) The deployment of expensive equipment, ships and personel would be kept to a minimum.

(3) Mysterious illnesses would erupt around those working near the site.

(4) Travel restrictions and over head flights would be banned.

(5) The Government responsible for the location would keep other nations out of the issue.

(6) Any location where oil is determined to be high enough in radioactivity that has hit shore will be blocked.

(7) Expect a media blackout regarding many issues of the radioactive spill.

(8) Skimming and other recapturing missions will be much lower in unit operations as the captured oil needs special treatments.

(9) The media will be forced to fly over at a high altitude to avoid radioactive detection.

(10) There will be a very strong military presence at the contamination sites.

(11) As long as the public is kept in the dark, many things that are done will not add up.

All I can do is warn everyone. Do not panic but you really need to be aware of this issue. As the Martha Oil Fields can prove the event of radioactive oil is very real. And Deepwater Horizon struck a very deep deposit where the radioactive isotopes had less time to decay. Meaning they are stronger in radioactivity.

I urge anyone who has the equipment to safely test any source of oil from the Deepwater Horizon to do so ASAP. But remember, you can not taste, smell, see or feel the radioactivity. It is undetectable to the human senses until it has already done its damage and it is too late by then. Do not get arrested and do not do anything stupid. However, it is time to serve your country and get out there with geiger counters to once and for all prove or disprove if Deepwater is radioactive.

We the People deserve the truth. If it isn't given to us, we will get the truth ourselves.

Trinity, you have my respect. As an American Patriot, I salute you for your bravery and dedication!

Be safe and may God have mercy.

We need to spread the truth. Oil can be radioactive. In New York State and PA there are several locations that are plagued with NORM issues (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material)

I'm not sure if this trend is a spike recently or has it been like thsi for a long time, people are just now noticing.

It is kind of freaky.

But lets be clear, I am not trying to spread fear, only truth. When we learn the truth, we become that much more stronger. As a World of People, we deserve the truth no matter what.

I am nearly certain the Deepwater Spill is radioactive. After all the scientific journals I read, articles, reports and the such, I have come to the conclusion Deepwater Horizon hit a VERY deep well with highly radioactive oils.

People, we MUST get out there and test!!!

A snippet from a link from your link, Crap. Man I wish you had a different name. ;)

[link to www.tenorm.com]

Radioactivity in oil and gas production and processing equipment is of natural origin and is now known to be widespread, occurring throughout the world. Estimates suggest that up to 30 % of domestic oil and gas wells may produce some elevated TENORM contamination. The geographic areas with the highest recorded measurements were northern Texas and the gulf coast crescent from southern Louisiana and Mississippi to the Florida panhandle. Very low levels of TENORM radioactivity were noted in California, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and northern Kansas fields.

here is the thread on my test results on the small sample I have

[link to www.godlikeproductions.com]

so far it seems o.k. I guess

I'd love to see other people test as well

Did you find that video interesting? Did you see the reading/hear the reading of 1,300 millirads?

Makes your tarball look like nothing.

BTW, Trinity, I really hope I didn't cause you any great stress. My intentions are of good nature. I am very happy you did not pick up and keep a hot tarball. Are you planning further testing?

Unfortunately though, I feel there will be many people that are not so fortunate.

Me either. It's like I woke up in the twilight zone. Shit is all upside down.

The ramifications of a radioactive oil spill mixed with a hurricane is unbearable to think of. That puts nearly the entire North East and South East in a very precarious position.

Fucking radioactive hurricanes!

Radioactive shrimp

7 out of 10 major seaports are in the Gulf of Mexico. Imagine if they were permanently shut down. The economic reprecussions are dire.

But lets all know one thing, humans are designed to survive. In fact, many survivalists of disasters say they felt the most alive when fighting for their life. Especially people who have a good heart and are open to learn about this stuff. We have the upper hand of survival. The ones who deny the possibilities or are ignorant to the truth will ultimately end up dead or very sick.

It is a sad tragedy. I'm going to have nightmares about little kids suffering. The thought brought me to tear up today. Watching my two sons play together. One 9 yrs, the other 19 months. I stay at home and raise them myself. Just the thought of them suffering is unbearable. This is why people need to know. So they have a chance.

People deserve a chance to fight to survive. Especially any parent.

I got to go, goodnight everyone. May God have mercy.

Re: URGENT - Martha Oil Fields in Eastern KY - 1,000 mrd radioactivity from oil - VIDEO!
It's real, thanks Crap for this thread.

Every living soul in the USA, is being exposed to Plutonium fallout radiation every single day 24-7.

It's in your teeth, your bones, your flesh.

- "Some plutonium particles were released into the environment through roof vents and stacks during routine nuclear weapons production activities. Plutonium was also released during industrial fires in 1957 and 1969, and some was released through wastewater discharges into holding ponds and creeks that flowed off the site. More than 5,000 barrels of contaminated waste oil and solvents stored outdoors at the Rocky Flats 903 Area leaked onto the soil beginning in the late 1950s. The barrels were removed in the late 1960s, exposing the soil to the elements. Windstorms blew the plutonium-contaminated soil particles into the air and off-site. Resuspension of these particles is ongoing. The contaminated 903 Area was covered with asphalt in 1969. Soil sampling around the Rocky Flats Plant has shown that the area east and southeast of the plant has the highest plutonium levels. This contamination is the result of the routine releases, the fires and the 903 Area spill.

Where can plutonium be found in the environment?
Before 1945, plutonium was virtually nonexistent in the human environment. Then in the 1950s and 1960s, plutonium was released into the environment during atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons. Plutonium can now be found in very small amounts in the soil throughout the Northern Hemisphere because of fallout from the atmospheric testing. Plutonium has also been found in soil near nuclear weapons production plants such as Rocky Flats due to accidents and spills.

Why is plutonium a problem in the environment?
Plutonium remains radioactive in the environment for a very long time. Plutonium decays by releasing small amounts of energy through fast-moving alpha particles. The radioactivity level of an isotope such as plutonium is determined by its half-life, which is the time it takes for half of an original quantity to decay. The half-life of plutonium-239 is about 24,000 years.

What happens to plutonium in the environment?
Plutonium particles may be released to the air where people may inhale them, or the particles may deposit on soil, plants and water. The plutonium particles landing on soil either attach to clays or stay near the soil surface where winds can pick them up and redistribute them. Plutonium particles can deposit on plants, but are not readily absorbed by the roots into the plants. Plutonium is usually insoluble in water, so plutonium particles that land on lakes and streams usually settle to the bottom in the sediment.

How are people exposed to plutonium?
Members of the public living or working near nuclear weapons production plants can be exposed when equipment fails, accidents happen or mistakes are made, causing releases that move off the plant site through the air or in water. Plutonium particles in the air can deposit on the soil, where adults or children may work or play, or on water, which may be a source for drinking, irrigation of crops or recreation. Particles can also deposit on vegetables or on grass eaten by cows that may later provide milk and meat for human consumption.

Why is plutonium a human concern?
Plutonium emits alpha radiation and low-energy x-rays, which are easily absorbed by tissue. The alpha radiation travels only about a quarter of an inch in air and cannot penetrate the skin. Therefore, if plutonium remains outside the body, it is generally not harmful. Plutonium is very toxic if it enters into the body because the alpha radiation can damage living tissue. The larger the "dose" in the body, the greater the toxicity.

Human exposure occurs mainly by breathing contaminated air or ingesting contaminated food or drink. Breathing is generally the route of most concern. When plutonium particles are inhaled and lodge in lung tissue, they continue to give off radiation internally. They can remain in the lungs or enter the gastrointestinal tract and the bloodstream. About 80 percent of the plutonium that enters the bloodstream goes either to the liver, bone or bone marrow, where it is retained for years, damaging tissue nearby. That damage may later develop into cancer. Common forms of plutonium do not dissolve significantly in water or body fluids, so little ingested material is actually absorbed into the blood from the gastrointestinal tract."...

I would think you would need a sample from a big plume or closer to the source to test the Gulf Oil effectively. By the time the oil reaches shore it has gone through a natural "radiation wash". I've heard they use saline for radiation washes in light exposure situations. So wouldn't the ocean act like a giant wash. Possibly sinking the heavier radiated material to the ocean floor?

I didn't know that. When I was a kid, going to the well site was a daily ritual. I had a flulike illness, missed 1/2 the school year, tutored at home.

If they had to set off a nuke below the seafloor, how would oil react if it is radioactive? If there are any magma chambers near, how would these react?

Just in case you really think the EPA is monitoring the radiation levels anything close to real time... I ran across this (and I advise you all take a look and read the entire page at this link: [link to www.idealist.ws] this quote is far less than 80% of the text. )

"EPA's RADNET (which before 2005 was called ERAMS) is the most comprehensive nationwide radiation monitoring network and is currently undergoing a vast so-called upgrade from 59 to 180 monitors over the 2006-2012 timeframe. Historically, the portion of the network that sample radioactivity in air was a mail-order 'business.' (The number of stations in the 'air program' in ERAMS fluctuated from 67 in 1983 to 69 in 1988 to 52 in 2001 to 59 in 2005.) Volunteers would retrieve and replace air filters twice a week, and then using a G-M (Geiger) detector record beta levels about 5 hours after filter collection. (There are different GM detectors for each type of radiation: a Pancake G-M will detect alpha/beta/gamma, a thin-wall G-M will detect beta/gamma, and a G-M tube will only detect gamma.) The 'station operator' (volunteer) would then report the beta findings to EPA by phone (if bad) or mail (if not) and then pack and mail the filter to a EPA lab that would do more sensitive gross beta measurements on the air filters. If those levels met a certain 'trigger level' then gamma spectrometry analysis would then be completed. At some point, gamma spectrometry on-site capabilities were added, but the data was not streamed anywhere - it was static data.

New Radnet

The 'new' RADNET will do little better. It will provide a real-time on-site (on-station) gamma spectrometry that a far-away lab used to do on (the same) conditional basis- it will be 'triggered' (and then only 'real time') when a routine analysis of on-station gross beta counting (not beta spectrometry) of air filter registers a reading over 1 picoCurie per cubic meter of air. (Gamma spectrometry renders a confusing graph of gamma energy levels that can be used to pinpoint certain gamma-emitting radionuclides.) (The beta counter used by EPA is a 600 square millimeter Passivated Ion-implanted Planar Silicon detector.) The beta counting is done continuously by an on-site device that collects and measures beta levels of air particulates and streams (hourly, or more frequently) the data via satellite, land line, phone etc...The air filters are also sent twice weekly to an EPA lab for more sensitive analysis.

Add some 'telemetry' - meaning sending the data through satellite, cell phone or land lines - and you have a technologically advanced version of a still-poor monitoring network. Why? Well, none of the RADNET data is really real time or near real time- in the best case scenario in an emergency, EPA headquarters will learn about the entire radiation 'picture' 4-6 hours too late. Why? Well, although data from the beta counter and gamma spec are updated hourly, alpha counting can - at the present time - only be accomplished manually. According to the report 'Expansion and Upgrade of the RadNet Air Monitoring Network, Vol. 1,' the station operator removes and screens the filter after waiting 'at least five hours for radon progeny to decay;' then he/she will record gross alpha/beta and phone/mail in the results of the counts and also air volume data (what volunteer is going to to drive into a plume to do that??). It will take another 2 days or more for EPA's NAREL lab to get the filter by mail delivery and conduct more advanced radioanalyses on the filter. (In the 'old days' - before automated continuous beta detectors - station volunteers would take the filters and they wouldn't analyze them for beta until a 4-6 hour period had lapsed for the same reason: so as to 'permit decay of radon daughters that may be attached to collected particles.') Even if you think 4-6 hours is a good enough turnaround time to get the full picture of alpha/beta/gamma, consider that EPA will only know 'gross alpha/beta,' not what was causing the spiking, and they'll be in the dark certainly if the gamma spec doesn't show anything (that may be pure beta or pure alpha.) There is no instantaneous breakdown of beta or alpha. (That will take more than 48 hours.) EPA fully knows this: they state on p. 24 of the abovementioned report that 'gamma spectrometry can measure every available source of radioactive material ....except for the following sources: Pu-239, (and other transuranic alpha emitters) which is available in large quantities and emits only alpha radiation... [and] Sr-90, which emits only beta radiation, and is available in large quantities.' EPA's Radnet in a dirty bomb attack, thus, will be too little (in data) and too late (in response). Thus, Radnet in its present 'new' form is still highly vulnerable - and blind - to radiological events, especially those that consist of plumes of either pure alpha, or pure beta or pure gamma emitters. Why? Pure alphas or gammas won't trigger the gamma spec. And pure betas will trigger the gamma spec but the spec won't show anything! For no good reason, the EPA's fixed monitors have no real-time gamma exposure rate ability (only the deployables have them), so no one will know if cobalt-60 powder is flying around huge sections of the U.S. Why, why, why, when there are instrumentation for sale all over the world that can provide real-time, continuous alpha/beta counting AND spectrometry? (Also consider that in a 2007 Associated Press article titled 'US Short on Labs for Radiation Testing,' journalist Eileen Sullivan noted that owing to a shortage of labs nationwide that are certified to test body tissue, etc... for radioactive contamination in the event of a dirty bomb attack, "officials recently said the nation is ill-equipped to quickly track down the make and origin of nuclear materials.")
