Re: A Big "Thank You" to mockers from a Christian
Yes, Sandi, thank you. She strikes me as the kind of person that thinks Christians believe that the Earth is 6-7000 years old and that December 25th is Jesus's Birthday.
 Quoting: Greg_B.

I met her several weeks ago. Kinda did what I could to calm her a bit and got her involved in a discussion.

Turns out, she was traumatically abused by both zealots and practicing satanists as a very small child. Interacting with her for a while, I think she also has asperger's.

Not a very fun combination.

The way I see it, I'll lay odds in life, she's nothing like she is on here. This is an outlet. Might not be too nice to watch sometimes, but hey, everyone needs an outlet or they'll completely snap, ya know?

The Earth has undergone many cataclysmic stages with and without man, it has nothing to do with angering the gods!!

Even the Elohim when occupying Earth in the ancient past had an ELE event which wiped them out!!

There's several theories. I've seen a few in my days on here. Not real versed in any of them. I think HT might be your best source on that.

However, if you'll check out that link to the chronicle project in my sig, it's got a pretty interesting take on it.

Re: A Big "Thank You" to mockers from a Christian
So, you believe in a God that is not capable of preventing wormspit from altering His Holy Word?

I believe in the same deity you claim to believe in. I just address Him by his name.

Belief is not following what misled gurus tell you, it's diligence to please our Elohim.

It's not my place to judge people for their beliefs. That's between them and their Elohim.

Do you even know His name? Do you know the name of the Messiyah? If you do not, and you truly wish to inquire, I will be happy to help you with what limited knowledge I've attained through constant study, translation and a pure heart seeking to please my Elohim and my Messiyah.

If you discount the Holy Bible as God's Word, we do not worship the same.

You call my teachers and scholars misled gurus. Your belief sounds new age to me, totally foreign. I will remain faithful to the education I have received over the last few decades.

My studies have taught me the many Names of God. BTW, it is YHVH.

[link to www.therain.org]

Indeed, YHVH is the name of the Elohim that ordered the creation of man just on Earth, but, according to your scriptures, what was the name of the creator of the Elohim?

I believe in ONE GOD.

God is Spirit.

Elohim is His Name in relation to mankind as His creations, i.e. "Let Us make man in Our image."

God the Son, the Living Word with form to create (John 1:1), and later with human form to redeem (John 1:14).

I'm sorry, that answer is a fail!!

It was BRA that created all the Elohim, Elohim is plural by the way, El is the singular connotation!!

My many years of education has taught me different.

I have never heard of BRA outside of daily dress, as I am female.

Elohim, the Us and Our in "Let Us make man in Our image" is obviously plural. Believing in One God, this begs the question of, "Who are these others?"

That is an entirely different subject. Suffice it to say they are in relation to mankind, as His creations, as I stated.

All it takes is reading the original Hebrew Gen 1:1 for the proof of what I say!!

(b-rashith = In beginning) (bra = he created) (aleim = Elohim) <--plural, more than one (ath e-shmim = and the heavens) (u-ath e-artz = and the Earth) (Gen 1:1)

There were 600 Elohim that came to Earth, 200 defected!!

None of the Elohim were ever gods!!

___________

If it expects or demands worship, it is not divine!!
 Quoting: HardTruth

The Hebrew accent Athnach marks the principal division of a verse ~ the logical midpoint. This places the emphasis, and gives pause, on "God" as being Himself the great worker, separating the Worker from His work.

If you view the Elohim (plural) as they truly were, just a race of flesh and blood beings, the ancient texts will make more sense for you!!

The Hebrew religion is just that, a religion, but it was the religion of the Elohim, and they claim to have been created first by BRA with the heavens and the Earth!!

They occupied Earth first, then an ELE event wiped them out, they then became the first spirits of Earth that vibrated above the waters, according to gen 1:2 of the original Hebrew!!

Then 600 of their brethren Elohim came to Earth after the fact, YHVH was one of those 600 Elohim!!

Re: A Big "Thank You" to mockers from a Christian
Thank you, mockers.

You are a fulfillment of prophecy in this end time.

You reassure my faith in God’s Word, The Holy Bible.

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
-Jude 10-19

Great post - your 100% correct. This is why it does not even bother me that unbelievers mock us that believe in the lord because it was already foretold to happen and its worse now then it ever has been.

The amount of people that attack christains with hateful words, making fun of,etc is at an all time high right now. Not only that but most churches today are twisting the word and satan has control of these churches just like satan has the mockers fooled and they dont even know it.
 Quoting: SlapNuts

I see hatred in all groups, including Christians, too. However, this thread is in response the those who mock Him.

We do glory in our tribulations, my friend.

They get irritated and mean.

They hate Him, and we love Him.

Anything to due with Sumerian texts?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 817080

Not in the chronicle project. The Sumerian texts were about the Annunaki, if memory serves me.

The chronicle project thinks they've decoded the ancient hebrew language to be glyphs like Egyptian glyphs. Each letter having it's own meaning and makes words self defining.

They're using that system to "decode" the Torah.

It's up past the Noah story now (it's a fairly new project).

Basically, it's saying that the "supreme ones" created Adam in a manner that sounds very similar to genetic splicing or something.

The part that I find most interesting is the Noah thing. It basically says that some of the "supreme ones" (Nephilim) came down and not only started breeding with humans, but animals as well. The whole region was going to hell in a hand basket because of it. They had to flood the whole area to kill everything off having Noah gather "clean" beasts to salvage something from it.

Pretty interesting read. I don't subscribe to it in any religious sense, doesn't make it any less interesting.

Sounds similar to the Sumerian texts, I see where you are coming from. I think there were 2 lines of "evolution" if you will on this earth. It's my belief that God created man but after that an alien race manipulated what was created to their own ends. This alien race is what we call satan and his angels. If you believe the myths of the world there seems to be a "race" of beings that set themselves up as gods on the earth.

I see that there are two lines of development on the earth this is my thoughts on why.

Yeah, there's alot of stuff from many different ancient sources that all seem to kinda jibe in that same direction. I haven't given it much thought in the last few weeks. Regardless of my religious choice, I will not stop reading stuff and trying to piece it all together. So far, though, I don't really see anything conflicting with each other, even my faith.

Personally, the way I see it, I was created with a questioning mind that seeks to make everything line up and match logically. This should never be an insult to my creator. For me to waste my gifts (sometimes a curse) would be an insult, I'd think.

Re: A Big "Thank You" to mockers from a Christian
I agree a 100% OP..Let them mock.
The end is near!

The Earth has undergone many cataclysmic stages with and without man, it has nothing to do with angering the gods!!

Even the Elohim when occupying Earth in the ancient past had an ELE event which wiped them out!!

___________

If it expects or demands worship, it is not divine!!

I'm curious just who do you think the "Elohim" were or are?
Not being an ass, I want to know.

The Hebrew accent Athnach marks the principal division of a verse ~ the logical midpoint. This places the emphasis, and gives pause, on "God" as being Himself the great worker, separating the Worker from His work.

If you will, the Potter and his clay:

But now, O LORD, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our Potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand. -Isaiah 64:

There is ONE GOD.

BRA created himself in the plural, nope, it doesn't work!!

And, I am supposed to forget all I know about the Hebrew language and just believe that because you say so?

Not at all, carry on, but you did ask the question of, "Who are these others?"

I'm trying to tell you what they don't want you to know!!

Sooo, you can carry on and still wonder who the others were, dwell on it, or prove me wrong, the choice is completely yours, and yours alone!!

I agree that the earth became void and without form. I believe it became tohu va bohu because God does not create anything in vain (Isaiah 45:18}. That destruction is explained in Jeremiah 4.

What I am not understanding is where you are getting 6oo Elohim, one of which was YHVH. I haven't found that in The Scriptures.
