Anything to due with Sumerian texts?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 817080Not in the chronicle project. The Sumerian texts were about the Annunaki, if memory serves me.
The chronicle project thinks they've decoded the ancient hebrew language to be glyphs like Egyptian glyphs. Each letter having it's own meaning and makes words self defining.
They're using that system to "decode" the Torah.
It's up past the Noah story now (it's a fairly new project).
Basically, it's saying that the "supreme ones" created Adam in a manner that sounds very similar to genetic splicing or something.
The part that I find most interesting is the Noah thing. It basically says that some of the "supreme ones" (Nephilim) came down and not only started breeding with humans, but animals as well. The whole region was going to hell in a hand basket because of it. They had to flood the whole area to kill everything off having Noah gather "clean" beasts to salvage something from it.
Pretty interesting read. I don't subscribe to it in any religious sense, doesn't make it any less interesting.
