Anonymous Coward User ID: 1008753 United States 06/20/2010 11:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm anemic and I've also suffered blood loss a few times . It seemed when my blood count was really low I'd get terrible RLS. I've been taking a Clorophyll concentrate called CLOROXYGEN , it increases blood count and better oxygenation. Been taking it for 1 month and it's helped 90%. |

I don't recall hearing about it until a few years ago. Charlie horses yes, but restless legs? Seems like a recent thing. Another day in eternity, basking in the reflected vortex of the chaotic light and the homogeneous metallic quantum foam. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1009449 Canada 06/20/2010 11:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i used to have it really bad, i think stress brings alot of it on. i still get it now, but nowhere near as intense, and it seems to be when i am overly stressed. exercise never seemed to help. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1001743IT MAKES YOU FEEL STRESSED It does. It can also lead to sleep depravation and exhaustion. Parkinson's medicines can calm it down so you can rest enough to watch a movie or lie in your bed. Mine is caused by nerve damage down my legs and bone loss which is hurting my sacoriliacs and placing stress on the sciatic nerves. But I also get the restless symptoms (neuralia or neuropathy) in my arms from the arthritis in my shoulders and pressing on nerves. So get to a neurologist because you could be having pressure onto your nerves and if this is the case, then it can damage the actual nerve fibres. It is a warning or a message to you that something is happening. I was prescribed L-Dopa and it is really a miracle and it at least gives you a few hours of peace in your body. |

Quoting: v0rtex666Because more and more are talking about it and more people in the population are getting neuralogical problems (MS, Parkinsons, diabetes, etc.) RLS is a symptom and not a disease or illness itself. The symptoms are caused by another problem and it irritates or damages the nerves. |
