Because it is not a peer to peer chat. I myself played around with the code for a chat bot like that 5 years ago. These things exist. AI is getting very advanced, look into it.

Many people are fooled, because they don't know how far along AI language processing has come.. It's not something you hear about, but you can easily find all sorts of info on it, code you can mess around with yourself to run or make your own, etc
