Military Operations to begin in July 2010 (within the next 30 days)

since we barely have enough fresh men to fight our current wars-what are the chances of a draft?-since I doubt you will find too many willing volunteers after being burned once by the lies that got us into Iraq...and what with the possibility of nukes

they would not be used to take on the nation, they would be used to secure airports, and other points of entry. simply because they could/would be able to move fastest than any other unit, once they are on the ground.


Take airports? And then what, fly in the rest of the troops? Hasn't Iran got lots of surface-to-air missiles and other air defences? A lot of planes could be lots trying to get to the airport.

Not so good source actually, Saudi has denied claims it has opened it's airspace to Israel and if thats a lot of bull the rest of your info is suspect as well.

If the US really is planning to strike another country who poses no threat to them then I hope like hell that the oil in the gulf causes a shitload of damage to US property and people, hell it's only fair. Good luck looking for sympathetic ears when your own soil is being contaminated, just be thankful it's not depleted uranium and that your country is big enough to cope with an internal migration. Iraqis weren't so lucky.

do bear in mind there may be the odd oil sheik or 5 willing to bend to some arm twisting but there are scant few arab population that are belligerent to Iran and not many arab princes are overly willing to enter the fray.

If the saudis do so much as even allow satan's minions an air corridor to attack a muslim country without a bloody good reason then they are also going to have to make rapid plans to exfil the peninsular during an full scale citizens revolt.

(and ask yourselves just one question) re basing and flyover rights Seriously how many countries are going to be willing to allow such an assault when it will mean them having to deal with the consequences of multiple chernobyls on their doorstep.

i truly hope it is saber rattling...but diego garcia, b2's and massive ordinance bombs, would be a prelude to any tactical nuclear engagement. hopefully the mission will not call for this contingency, but have no doubt, i am sure we have it within the operations order now...but it is very likely that with the right concentrated use of overwhelming firepower, tactics, and psychological operations, will be enough to topple the regime, with minimal damage to the people of iran, and to the world.

if i saw or heard that datetime format...i would be concerned.

most communications are sent via encrypted transmission though, and that that is not, one would have to be within a few kilometers of the sender to receive (ie on a training base deep within the areas used for real world mission rehearsals and training).

It's long since established fact that the bush administration provided false intel claiming that saddam was massing on the border in preparation to attack the saudis (and bear in mind saddam was already something of a cypher to the saudis given he was strongly secular and had just ran armed brigades all over the saudi's cousins in Kuwait).

also the consequences of the Iraq assault was only ever going to be limited to the occasional scud raining down on military basing areas.

A weaponised assault on active nuclear facilities will inevitably release billions of curies of radioactive material into the atmosphere which as sure as did Chernobyl will contaminate vast swathes of the region. Additionally the Iranians are far more intergrated and influential in the regional communities than the Iraqis ever were.

ok it was about 2:45 - 3:00am my time,AR and I'm not far from AFB not sure why I pick this up,but it has been happening quite often not at the same times though,once it was actually during the middle of the day.kept hearing these dah dah dit sounds.......what do you think it is referring too?
