Born-again christian here...

Watched the clip...then started reading other threads...then came back to the last page here.

What comes to my mind now is this:

Those of you here can laugh all you want about the "wacky, unchristlike preacher"...who is definately not turning the other cheek and is swearing a blue streak. Just goes to show you that we are all human for one thing. But the thing that strikes me the most is that he is warning you all about evil--and there is evil. When more crap (oh, did I use a vile word?) hits the fan and life as we know it starts to change for the worse--you will remember him being upset because you will be upset at what is happening around you and you will be desparate. Then you will remember those words and not be laughing anymore. It's going to get bad on this planet folks. You can all sit in the comfort of your own homes, laughing at the preacher and rolling your eyes but there is no question that a darkness has come over this land. It's going to be bad...you have no idea.

Fellow christians, you all know what is coming. At least this preacher has the guts to tell you. Most other pastors aren't doing their job in the age we live in. He's mad and he's upset. If you truly had a clue as to what Obama has in store for you...you would listen to the message and not shoot the messenger. If you had any true discernment, you would get that.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 380667

So, only people who agree with that pastor have "true discernment"?

If there is any place the truth should be defended without compromise it is the pulpit of a church. If you can't handle the truth, "get the hell out".
 Quoting: Resister

Only the "truths" that are written in The Bible.

If you re-read Revelations, you will find that Obama is not The Anti-Christ - he doesn't have what it takes...

He might work for him, but...

The Bible specifically discourages us from judging others (which includes calling each other evil, one might think).

Re: Pastor: "Get the hell out of here if you don't like this kind of preaching!"
This is why truly educated people think the religious are idiots.

And I'm NOT an Obama supporter, so don't even start with it.

I'm curious, what does it mean to be "truly educated"?

Well, it helps to have read more than the bible...and to be exposed to opinions that come from people other than Glen Beck and your own preacher, for a start.

It's a big world with a rich history...most fanatically religious people are only aware of a tiny sliver of it (whether Christian, Muslim, or other), yet they think that they understand the whole thing. The phrase "you don't know what you don't know" is a good one to use as a mantra (if you don't think such things come from "the devil").

I would have respect for religious people if they had a broader sense of the world...or even really understood their own religion as more than just a collection of mindless postures and empty slogans...but most don't. Most of the time, the hardcore religious are just parroting phrases without any real ethos or comprehensive knowledge of the basis for those phrases. When you come from a broader background that encompasses the study of world religions, history, anthropology, etc., the antics of religious zealots pretty much resemble the behavior of lower primates.

Im sure you have evolved yourself into one awesome human. I mean it is all about "growth" isnt it?

You confuse yourself. Deep down you know that God will judge you. You dont like it. Thats all your comments are evidence of.

Listen ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you NOT the world.

You are a perfect example of what I am talking about...an incredibly myopic and narrow vision of the world...yet you THINK you have a grasp of it.

I have studied metaphysics for around 40 years, and the concepts and ideas I have gleaned from those studies would be beyond your comprehension, but suffice it to say, the terms "God" and "judge" are terms that have a lot of nuance attached to them, and they are not terms that should be waved around the way a monkey waves around the thighbone of a wild boar.

"God" is a concept so far beyond the human ability to measure and define that it is an insult to such that people like yourself out words and a face to it.

People like you profane the mystery by making it a cheap bauble that you buy at your local WalMart.

You are so ignorant that you have no idea how ignorant you are. I, on the other hand, being merely a human, am also ignorant, but unlike you I know this to be the case and I can accept that I lack the tools to wholly define this world and all the other worlds beyond, below, and beside. Whereas YOU, and people LIKE you, think you have all the answers and that "God" bends to your untutored conceptualizations of "him".

You are in for a very big surprise.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1011065

You are so arrogant that you have no idea... Metaphysics indeed. Are you a generalist or specialist? (Do you know EVERYTHING about NOTHING, or do you know NOTHING about EVERYTHING?)

The pastor is welcome to his opinion and behavior, but by their fruits you will know them.

He is serving Christ even though his vision is blurred by looking at Christ through the US Constitution...

I wouldn't presume to judge him. He carries a mark on his head given to him by someone.

Re: Pastor: "Get the hell out of here if you don't like this kind of preaching!"
Please don't and spare us some of your senseless ramblings.

Most of us do have constitutional rights. I practice them every day. My neighbors do, too. We live in a democracy that has for the most part worked quite well over the centuries. It can be improved, but it is a heck of a lot better than most any other government on Earth. God bless America and God has blessed America.
 Quoting: JoeNeubarth

Daily events prove otherwise, and you're blind to the encroaching police state govt that is growing more oppressive every year. This is not America anymore. It's not the America of 1950. Nor 1900. Nor 1850. Nor 1776.

If government were to revoke the constitution, would you still have rights? I would still have natural rights, which come from God. You seem to value government-granted constitutional rights, which can be taken away at a whim.

And if you think God is blessing America, you need to look around. Record crime, murder and rape. Record divorce rates. Record cancer and heart disease rates. More and more taxes. Bigger and bigger government. Shrinking freedoms. Aliens pouring over the borders.

Blessings? I'd hate to see what this country would look like if he decided to curse us.

The one thing that got me was no self-respecting Christian would cuss like that. I have family who are Christians and they would be offended if they heard this man. The firs thing my preacher bro in law would say is this man is possessed by the Devil, lmao! But seriously, no real self-respecting Christian would cuss and swear like that because they are supposed to uphold themselves to a higher standard. This guy makes real honest God fearing Christians look bad.

Look at this "pastor`s" website.. He flatly denies total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistable grace and the preservation of the saints.
In short, he denies the entire Bible.

1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Re: Pastor: "Get the hell out of here if you don't like this kind of preaching!"
people so screw up the bible when they say don't judge, we are cautioned as children of God, to take the plank from our eye before we start critisizing our brothers in Christ with the plank in theirs.

Therefore, look over your life first before you start pointing out sins in a brother.

If you do that, therefore then, you can 'in love' which is relative to me (some love actions are different then othres, such as spanking and punishing a child would be considered caring or love, where others would say it is not love), but then you may critisize a brother in Christ if they are freely sinning against God.

People judge all day, you see a group of people, you judge them, do you want to hang with them? no? because they are sitting there at a bar, drinking up a storm, pestering women and being terribly sinful, you have judged them, you move on.
We are to make judgements every day. You judge people's motives, actions, words and deeds and then you VOTE them in and out of office, that is judging. You judge who you will marry who you will date, where you want to work, what you want to do today, watch on tv, judging is making a decsision and acting on it, voicing your opinion on what you know, and sometimes sharing it with others.

Judge not, least you be judged by the same measure

God is saying tread carefully, for if you judge someone because say they have an extra marital affair, and you confront that person about it, YOU too shall be judged by God about your extra marital affair if you are having on.

This is a link to my church, my pastor JUST talked about this behavior (judging) in church a few weeks ago, and his audio is up about it, scroll down the list its just a few down.
[link to www.cornerstoneforlife.com]

listen to a loving Pastor explain what exactly the bible says about the judging issue as a Christian who lives in this terribly wicked world today.

It doesn't matter what he thought the dog did, or did not, do. He should have complied once they told him they had probable cause to search his vehicle -- whether he thought they did, or did not. It would have been infinitely more intelligent for him to come back with an attorney in a court and do it the right way instead of being a Civil Rights wannabe.

Once he refused to leave his car, he had what was coming to him.
 Quoting: Benjamin Franklin

man what are you smoking? those who don't know their rights don't have any, did you know at one time there was a provision in the law whereas a mans home was his castle and his car was an extension of his home,
police hate coming up against a guy like this and most, the vast majority of them if they are smart and payed attention in the civil rights portion of the police academy will let the person move along

but the boys in blue wanted to have a little fun. its gonna cost yuma county a butt load of money as it should

a search warrant must be issued upon probable cause duly noted executed and signed by the presiding judge of the county parrish province or whatever
served to the party detailing what the police intend to search and describing property to be searched and otherwise seized and a copy must be given to the plaintiff, in this case the paster and a list if any and all seized items must be given also

none of this can happen because fido decided to take a whiz on your tire
"oh look he hit on your car buddy, one whiz equals drugs two whiz's a body and two whiz's with a shake and sniff means both may be present' "its a neat trick but hell no you can't see it again" "what are you boy some kind of trouble maker and shit?

is this what we are accepting for justice anymore? pathetic.

and anybody who lets them get away with it is even more pathetic

But what is he focused on saving and what truth is he telling? He wants to warn about the destruction of the US Constitution, which has provided religious freedom for us.

(and the truth he tells is that the US Constitution is being violated by the Government).

shouldn't surprise us really...If the US Government as constituted was eternal, the constitution itself would be holy, no? The US is not eternal. It is not too big to fail... Alas Babylon? No way! We shouldn't dread its passing because we know of the brighter kingdom to come...We will all learn to suffer for the Word of God.

Christ's Kingdom is not of this world. We as Christians submit to the Authority given to Christ, not to a government of man, but we are warned that if we do not follow the government's instruction, we will be jailed or beaten or killed. Our young pastor just had an experience with that side of government which demands submission, grants freedoms and steals liberty.

We as a nation and our national culture do not honor God nor liberty nor good character. We honor money and lust and selfish interests.

Sounds like the pastor was willing to suffer that so that other Christians can be even more sure of the Word of God.

The firs thing my preacher bro in law would say is this man is possessed by the Devil, lmao! But seriously, no real self-respecting Christian would cuss and swear like that because they are supposed to uphold themselves to a higher standard. This guy makes real honest God fearing Christians look bad.

+1

(but don't expect to get through to anybody on this site who Identifies as Christian).)

Thanks!

I don't, actually...I am just practicing for when I run into people who may actually HAVE an open mind...so I can help them make it even more open in my own small way. Not many of them left anymore, those open-minded types.

It's really sad.

Re: Pastor: "Get the hell out of here if you don't like this kind of preaching!"
Not the point.. point was the truth he was speaking at the time..I really don't care what his beliefs are.. that time in the U tube.. he was speaking nothing but TRUTH.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1016286

Yes, I agree that what he said was true.. but the way that he spoke that truth was sin. This man speaks proudly and comes off haughty because he remains in an unconverted state.

Pro 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Look at the model of how Daniel spoke to another wicked King. Dan 6:21

The Arminian thinks he is SO GOOD that he decided to be a Christian and he out of his own goodness chooses Christ.

i]Joh 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

The arminian sees not his own depravity , has not come to terms with his own sin and so he knows not his own need for mercy - He knows not the sovereign grace of God. He is stuck on vain imagining of his own goodness.

Luk 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others

Lol at the people agreeing with the pastor.

Are you fucking retarded?

That man basically rages on about Obama being the anti-christ and when Obama does not get reelected and another stooge takes his place then suddenly you tards will loose conviction that Obama was the anti christ.

Srsly if you believe this crap at least do it with fervor and denounce your fucking faith when you have been proven wrong in a few years.
