no record of missed call?

this would mean the cell phone company, where ever they are located, would have to be under some sort of tin foil cover, cause when i call a cell phone, the call is first sent to the company's exchange and then on to the actual cell phone number, if connected and turned on, then receives the call, or then just to the voice mail, - At The Exchange

i call bsflag - video evidence will drop the flag...

Err... if the phone is receiving no SIGNAL, there will BE no record of a missed call, as the phone never received a call to MISS. If you were to leave a MESSAGE, at the exchange, then THAT would be sent to the phone the next time it uplinks to a tower. Other than that? Of course there will be no indicator.

You c'n put away the flag now...

The relay and exchange will record the call and forward it when the phone's signal becomes available.

Err... no, it WON'T. Do you OWN a cellular phone?

I worked in cellular for years, as a data specialist, and I can tell you ALL sorts of stuff about your phone. One of those interesting facts is that it is your PHONE is the device which records a missed call. the exchange does NOT relay that information. Never has. As I said, it WILL send you an indicator of a voicemail waiting, but IT doesn't send you any information about missed calls, number of calls, etc.

If you have your phone off for 24 hours, does it suddenly pop you a message saying"you have 30 missed calls?" Of course not.

And I won't insult YOU, because ignorance isn't pretty, but it's not your fault, either.

No, because it's neither sending a signal to a tower or powering a built-in GPS. And while they CAN be remotely activated, and used as listening devices, as of yet I'm fairly sure that they cannot be remotely powered on. However, pop the battery, it becomes a moot point.

actually yes there is that chance, and some people say they is still enough charge in the phone even without the battery, best thing to do if you need to, ditch the phone. better safe than sorry.

how to block rf radio freq from a cell phone

it seems the frequency of cell phones will penetrate most anything from a microwave oven with the door closed to and elevator to being 3 levels down in an undergroound concrete parking garrage. ive tried several wire mesh materials to try to stop the rf from a cell phone without success. it seems that the op is correct in that several layers of aluminium foil are needed ..... does it help if the foil is grounded or not?

a remarkable discussion of rf blocking for health and insomnia can be heard at ...

www.worldhealth.net/radio the show with conrad labeau and dr ron klatz .... they discuss amazing stats as to the health effects of rf and how to shield your sleeping space from this pervasive bioactive radiation.

best thing is pop battery as said. i read when W made his taking off on his first trip to Iraq that they asked everyone in the press pool flying with them to pop their batteries out of their cell phones.

also read on a website that said even if you pop the battery out, say at a restaurant, then they know the cell numbers nearby at other tables and just listen in from there.

Interesting, so your service provider stores missed calls and forwards them as messages? I know you can REQUEST that service, but it's not something done by Canadian providers, nor AT&T in the States. I used to have people ask if they could get that set up, but I always found it redundant, as when your phone is ON, you would get two messages.

ok brother....I believe you...no ring no nothing...ok..
but tell me this...What the fuck good is it?...as soon
as you need the phone you will take it out of the foil
and you will be pinpointed. If your worried about it
then why not just ditch the phone?
Last and most important.......they dont need the
cellphone when they have already implanted you?..lol...but seriously...do you believe they want to track you? and
if so..what have you done to warrant such action?...if your
just an everyday joe like most of us are they could care less about you.

What I MEANT is that if the phone is ON, the mic can be remotely activated, as the signal can be linked. If the phone is OFF, however, this isn't the case, and I don't believe there's a way to power the phone ON remotely.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. =-)

is there some way you can tell when it is being remotely activated as a listening device?

alot of times when I go to ck the cell to ck the batt power or for calls or texts missed...

the main screen is on and it only shows the number 8...

as if someone had accidentally started dialing and they only hit the 8.

I find that odd as hell so now I'm curious.

any visible indication of it being remotely activated thusly?

thanks

If you're really that worried about being tracked or followed, just drop your phone in some random womans purse at the airport and buy a prepaid phone. Geez, you people act like your cell phone is a third testicle or something.
