What does that mean? Judging by the research interests of the scientists involved in the upcoming announcement, our guess is that this astrobiological discovery will have something to do with water, evolutionary biology, and aquatic bacteria.

Antarctic salt for sale, rich in trace minerals,I am going to purchase 2 or 3 bottles.....for the pantry.........

Another interesting article regarding food at the British outpost!

If I find why it is necessary to carry in large amounts of salt I will edit this post!It seems as if they already have an elegant sufficiency after desalinization......

Hmmmmzzzz ...
somehow that "for sale" makes me suspicious !!!
How do we know it is not "flavoured" (infected or contaminated) ????

The arctic waters contain a lot of bacteria and lifeforms that are still to much unknown ...

It really looks and sounds great, but my inner allamrbells are ringing scratching

I would want my salt to come from other places COL ...
Just a feeling my dear.

Childo, I hope you will either dowse the sale for safe consumption, or do a muscle test before consuming.

Let us hear back from you about the salt.

I am mystified, at the continuation of this thread and the Chinese briefcase thread. Some slimy Rand Corporation psyops guy admits to scamming all y'all, then hands you a brand new line of total b.s. about a machine entity from another timeline, which forced them to scam you, for the good of the world????

And you blithely continue in your same veins??

Are you all in on the psyops, or don't you get it? You were owned!! They (Rand) want to see to what extent they can scam people. It's the whole point of their existence.

If you want your own social thread, you should start a new one, "Krispy and the Kritters" or something. Fewer than 900 pages of being owned.

Get out of denial.

Some people just don't get it. Rand Corp lost a round with this thread. Plus, I believe they gained nothing with this thread.

Carry on...

Is it 100% confirmed Tutes?

I heard it was a joint venture between S/Africa and Israel?

- but never proved.
Quoting above: BadHairDay

That is a strange combination considering...
But possible. What would be the common ground there?
Quoting above: Hans

According to the Nuclear Threat Initiative, in 1977 Israel traded 30 grams of tritium for 50 tons of South African uranium and in the mid-1980s assisted with the development of the RSA-3 ballistic missile.[14] Also in 1977, according to foreign press reports, it was suspected that South Africa signed a pact with Israel that included the transfer of military technology and the manufacture of at least six nuclear bombs.[15]

In 2000, Dieter Gerhardt, Soviet spy and former commander in the South African Navy, claimed that Israel agreed in 1974 to arm eight Jericho II missiles with "special warheads" for South Africa.[16]

In 2010, The Guardian released South African government documents that it alleged confirmed the existence of Israel's nuclear arsenal. According to The Guardian, the documents were associated with an Israeli offer to sell South Africa nuclear weapons in 1975.[17][18] However, none of the documents explicitly confirm that Israel possesses nuclear weapons or that it offered to sell them, and The Guardian's interpretation of the documents is controversial. Israel categorically denied these allegations and said that the documents do not indicate any offer for a sale of nuclear weapons. Shimon Peres said that The Guardian article was based on "selective interpretation... and not on concrete facts."[19] Avner Cohen, author of Israel and the Bomb and the forthcoming The Worst-Kept Secret: Israel's Bargain with the Bomb, said "Nothing in the documents suggests there was an actual offer by Israel to sell nuclear weapons to the regime in Pretoria."[20]

Quoting above BHD:

Ah So! Common ground established. Kinda suggests there's a strong possibility of Izzy defending herself under the table, and spreading the fruits of her covert labors around for fun and profit. As they say, denial is not a river in Egypt.
 Quoting: TutuWuwu

Another suggestion for a connection between SA and Izzy, whioh may resonate with those who remember the Ethopian Airlift.

[link to www.highbeam.com]
[link to www.time.com]

Usually not told in the news accounts of this logistically difficult airlift of uneducated, untrained and often unhealthy black Ethiopian Jewish immigrants to Israel, was that the general public in Israel did not approve and resented the airlift.

Also untold in news accounts, but strongly rumored was that the real reason for the airlift was to bring in a large contingent of Ethiopian priests, some of whom had actual possession of the Ark of the Covenant, which Ark was supposed to have been hidden in Ethiopia after the Queen of Sheba took it from King Solomon.

Further, that the Israli jews needed the Ark in order to complete the rebuilding of their Temple.

As the story goes, the Ark was known to have many replicas and none of the replicas brought by the Ethiopian priests proved to be the real Ark. The priests may have not have had the means to know whether the Ark they possessed was one of many replicas, or was the real Ark.

It is suspected that during WWII significant Egyptian artifacts were spirited away to the southern part of Africa and that, possibly, the Ark was moved from Ethiopia to the southern part of Africa after very heavy bombing by the Italians.

The suggestion is that the Israelis may be honeying-up to those they believe to be in possession of their prize.

Step by step dude! Good on ya!

Funny Hans, I am teaching a young bird to fly atm. He's a baby Kurrawong. Fell out the nest. With (5) cats here, its interesting to say the least!

I say to him flap by flap mate.

R u taking any artheritis meds to help with the pain?

I'm taking kickass pain meds, about 1/2 what I was taking earlier. I try to skip them completely, does not work. I wake up in the night screaming. Not so much any more.
They opened me up like cleaning a fish. Dr said he had every internal organ out and in his hands. Fixed ruptured internals, put me back together with mesh to hold stuff together, then came the easy part, the bones. I think I'm doing pretty good, considering...

God bless ya Hans, sounds like it was one hellatious incident; keep up the good fight!

Did you ever watch a RoadRunner cartoon? Laughed like hell? Let me tell you, it hurts! My ride was a Ducati. Narrow winding mountain road near Cougar Washington. Laying it down flat, close to 100. Hit a bunch of crap in road, bike skids into guardrail, I went over and down, down, down. Finally hit bottom which is good, some of those you can starve to death before you hit bottom. Anyway here I am laying there on the bottom of ravine wondering if I have any bones not broken when Oh shit, here comes bike after me! just like Roadrunner. I got a scenic chopper ride on a rope under the chopper, it seemed like hundreds of people waiting on roof of hospital for me. Week ago I walked for first time, today they took my casts off, and tonight I get to take a real hot shower. No more birdbaths. All uphill from here. Anything is possible now.

Nicely said...

Hey, I was thinking about the relatively low profile news story posted here about Chinas ban on Aussie Crayfish (lobster) exports.

[link to www.abc.net.au]

China buys about 90% of our premium sea foods. I remember when the fishermen's groups did this, and how pissed off I was that we Aussies were left with 2nd grade produce, but paying twice as much! So part of me says suck it.

But, there are families and jobs at stake etc, and our Christmas market is now flooded with cheap lobster. Paul Hogan should change his ad to throw another cray on the barbie...

Back to my initial thought - crayfish are bottom feeders. They eat what is dead on the sea floor, what ever gets washed up in to the shores.

What if our CHIN friends know that the VIC coast line is washing something up that will inevitably be consumed by said crayfish, and OZ will then ship infected crays to China?

Hence the ban.

The area where the crays and other premium seafoods are caught is actually in between OZ and Tasmania. For simplicity I will call it Bass Straight. Bass Straight also is a large oil producing region for Australia.

...an OZ splashzone?

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Today is a microcosm of my experience on this thread since day 1. Once the Mag7 came out I wondered what really was the truth about everything. After many days I would consider maybe it was time to bail; then someone, such as Op8 did today, would say "so what are we to believe" and I'd realize I wasn't the only one. In my thinking the one absolute truth is the gom is very sick. All the rest could be fully true or partially true. I'd like to see anybody, who can post facts regarding all the rest of the info on this great thread, do so. Also, I'd like to see the hatchet buried permanently, and continue to hear from all the posters who are concerned about the direction this tragedy is taking. We aren't TPTB but rather are "we the people" and if we can't get along and work together then THEY will indeed have won.
Whew, that made me tired. Bless you all!

I agree 100%. Fighting is distructive in everyway. Everyone has information it is up to each of us to accept or reject. I dont know what happened in the Mag 7 nor do I wish to. I accept they all entered into it for the same reason information, but it didnt work out. We all have to live with our choices and with the eternal karma that comes with them.

It is interesting that TPTB aren't in complete control and things sometimes snowball when forming. I'm not surprised that this thread had so very many hits, this is a world wide forum and a large one at that. Thanks for clarifying.

I am rather computer illiterate and don't understand a lot of internet workings, still a learning process. I do understand basic business though and I was following this thread since the beginning, just waited to take part is all.

I'm going for an all BHD page....

Further clarification on the gleaming white 'barrier' laying along the entire US rim of the Gulf.

The image looks like some one has used a 'caulking gun' to lay a blobby line of silicone along the rim from DWH right down to Key West end.

Not living. Made and layed by men. Not necessarily general Human types.

It is a barrier.

The french took a piece of it. The US Govt' didnt like that.
The USNavy has a different view.

Korea is a diversion. So many air and army bases in the region. Why not fly troops there? Why not fly planes there, ready for a stouch? No, lets send lots of sitting duck targets there. Navies from around the world are turning up for security and games reasons, so a couple of subs turning up is all part of the mix right.

The diversion is to get the subs there for part 2.

The barrier is requird to protect US lands. Mexico has its own ancient tech sites to protect it. Have the Mexicans complained about the GoM much? Have the health issues popped up in Mexico? or Belize or Guatemala? Nope. (I realise I can be easily cut down with this statement, but will keep it there anyway) The issues are US side, and flowed on to Haiti, the US testing ground.
 Quoting: BadHairDay

Well...

Together with your suggestion of a great white barrier reef caulked into the Gulf rim from Louisiana to Key West, which passes through Woodie's home base, and Woodie's comments on the development of an algae farm in the Gulf, then perhaps the great, white no-can-see reef is the seed tape to grow Chroella.

Reading these old posts is dredging up memories and how things look different now. When I first discovered this thread I was in a wheelchair, on massive painkillers, and my only friend in USA was a bulldog, who has since died. During that time I have met some very smart people, with good analytical skills, improved my English 1000%, fell head over heels in love with someone, realized it was not to be/not mutual. That person has turned into a terrific friend with whom I can discuss almost anything. I was on crutches for a couple of months of my long slow recovery, with the only anchor in my life being this thread with its twists and turns.
There are people on this thread I consider my "USA Family" even though I have never met them in person. They are for the most part just names on a screen. And not even their real names. I mean what parent would name their kid "Tutuwoowoo" for example. Well I can think of some but that is not the point.
There is one who post as a lady but I keep getting PM's that "she" is a bald headed guy with a beard. To all of you I say--It doesn't f-ing matter. My interaction is with what is on the screen in front of me.
This last week I have been able to walk but when I walked into Dr's office today I kept tripping on his thick carpet so I know one foot is still dragging. This may last the rest of my life. Which will no doubt be longer if I stay off motorcycles.
I GOT MY CASTS OFF TODAY. And I got to take a nice hot shower. No more birdbaths. What I have posted in sig line tells a lot.
To you BEZERKERS I say Thank you for a great time and I hope we continue for a long time. To the few negative ones here, (I won't mention mag publishers by name) I say flip
Thanks to all and let's get back to our regular topic.

I'm reluctant to make comments about our NZ coal mine methane disaster. It has something very odd about the way is was handled. The miners had it taken out of their hands by the police and army. Now there are internationals US etc all over it. The last tests of the methane before the supposed rescue group was to go in, were said to have an anomoly!! which was never explained as the robots had already gone in and then the next lot of explosions happened. Strange; they waited and waited for the methane to build up again. The only time a rescue could occur was immediately after the first explosion when the gas is depleted. Now it is burning!!

Where are the birds ? Mentioned this in spring, watched the numbers slowly deminish. Now its fall in South West Florida, and there is hardly any of the common flocks of birds this time of year as before, much more so noticed as you make your way inland away from the gulf coast. Even the buzzards are fewer, still some here. Through the summer there had been little to almost none of the ussual fire ant population, not that they were missed, but very strange indeed.

Its the sight of no birds that get the wheels turning. This part of Florida is swamped with them normally, and in addition to migrate birds. What's trully missed are the tropical types of birds you'd see often, not even one. Then there's the noisey mockingbirds that would be in abundance, not a peep at all. Where did they all go ?

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

Above is a link from Isis. Look at the large map 1/4 down the page. It clearly shows the oil fields associated with Texas, Louisiana, and the very short coast line of Mississippi and Alabama. Florida has never allowed off-shore drilling.

If you following BHD's caulk-line description from DWH to the Keys, the map allows one to easily see that this is the area of the Gulf where there is no oil/gas drilling.

Based upon Woodie's description of an algae reef, then the caulk-line area would be the best location for start-up, away from the oil/gas operations. The location of the DWH is near the eastern-most area of the oil fields. If BP were going to use an oil spill to seed biologics into an artificial reef, then the DWH is the proper location.

Couldn't have said it better myself...thanks...This tragedy will affect us all before it's done...it is not just going to be the gulf..Think about this...if the FDA and the EPA..and all the rest of the involved letter organizations all agree that the seafood from the gulf is safe to eat...and it's transported all over the world for consumption...then what?? I think I read that no one is even testing it for the corexit contamination. That's not even taking time to mention the ocean currents that have been affected, that will in turn affect weather and jet streams world wide...ALL will be affected, one way or another..

The truth is...that this is a disaster with consequences we have not even given thought to yet...and that is w/o any of us poking or being poked with a sharp stick by anyone else...or w/o any other organization even being involved surreptitiously...some things simply do NOT even matter in the scope of things...The truth is right in front of you all with the information provided on this thread...and it can't be denied...The gulf disaster is a disaster, an ongoing disaster, for we, the inhabitants, as well as mother earth herself...

I have a theory about the GOM area, but folks would just think I'm in left field. Maybe I am. lol

Thought you were talking about something else, it's early and I haven't had enough coffee to break through the cob webs of sleep yet. lol

edit again to ask if anyone else has noticed an off the mark, or matrix glitch since Friday evening? Maybe I'm sensitive to these, it is electrical in nature or at least it seems that way to me. I feel it physically too. Something is going on with the unseen forces. A shift of some sort.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

Rachel Carson's 'Silent Spring'

The Canadian geese did not mirgrate southward over the Carolina Mountains this year, as they always have in years before.

The geese and ducks fly low over the mountains and squawk a lot, circling and landing on the many small mountain lakes. None flew over this year.

This doesn't say much, but provides a list of features in the GOM.

[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]

I didn't see any caves or tunnels listed ;}

How about that. hmmm

I haven't check other areas but perhaps it is not a practice to publish them, unless there is some notoriety or historical significance connected. I would imagine.

While zooming around on GE aka ge aka giggle earth etc..., I have noted oil about the openings of many, I repeat MANY such places, whether drilled or dumped, the oil makes somewhat of an effective screen from satellite eyes.

Theory is coming your way soon. I've been putting some pieces and links together. Hang in there. Would make good short story for hump (Wednesday) if photobucket doesn't get it's act together and stop freezing up during loading. Maybe it's the dial-up that times out during loading time.

I'll stay on it. whip

I wish I could elaborate on the squiggly line. It seems more defensive than a platform for growing stuff.

Nice tie in with the drilling states and sites from Isis' post.
