I wasnt around GLP when the Ausie Bloke thread(s) were at their peak.

He has apparently posted his 'final' thread, confirming his last thread as the truth, and that he was coerced in to admitting it was a hoax.

A canny GLP'er who found a copy of the thread, off-site, posted the message left by the 'monitors' who said the whole thing was an experiment, and thank you for your participation.

Have a read of it. Uncannily like the one 'Nero' left, when he 'hacked' Aco's account. (not to be confused with Michael, a french student, who also had the same ID.)

Thread: aussie bloke, final post (Page 5)

Interesting language used also.

Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have swapped to Karl and Lisa.

Kochie reports from some amazing places eh? Mt Kilimajaro, the mine site in Chile. 15 years ago he was the finance guy and going nowhere. Now look at him.

Hey BHD of subject question. Are those scanners still going to be put in the airports over there? I have travelled to Oz many times but certainly wont go there if they are being installed.

I think Melbourne (Tullamarine) got one, and there was a fair degree of outrage, but I cant recall Sydney or anyone else getting one? just the normal metal detector gate. I did see that post on front page. Refers to out going internationals, which will be you I guess. But I dont think they are mandatory yet, and still pretty sure only in VIC.

Might be wrong tho .... so, will you be coming through Sydney?

Nay I think we're going in to Cairns and out of Perth. If it changes will let you know. I've been looking at those aussie bloke threads, just a quick peck going back to look
deeper. The comet stuff is interesting to say the least.

What's your take on it Cosmos? They seem strange enough, but there might be a perfectly legit explanation. I see the SriLankan ones were photographed back in 2003.

Wierd that no stories have surfaced between then and now eh?

One way to find out who's responsible is to go jogging on said beach, stub toe on said container, and get a lawyer....

I posted this on another forum to see if anyone had any info...I got one reply that intimated it was a hoax but no explanation. A couple of posters asked for some verification of this...but nothing yet.

NexEd is always careful about 'one-source' stories that appear verbatim across multiple sites. No back ground checks, just straight cut and pasting.

Did you find any back up regards the Sri Lankan ones back in 2003?

BTW, first thing I thought of was the brief cases too LOL!

BTW, thanks Isis! I wonder how many of the licences are in fact for new drilling, new extraction (from existing wells) or simply 'extraction' veiled as 'drilling'.

I bring this up as many of the new rights to the Julia field are for bottom based machinery and rigs that feed back up to the surface. All out of site, out of mind, and easier to hide effects of any issues.

My pet theory on this is the massive lake of oil still being fed in the centre of the GoM (the gyre) is going to be sucked up using these techniques.

Rhi' I wonder if the actual engineering is the opposite! The work is done on a tiny scale, at the genetic level, which results in these huge creatures?

I cant recall off hand why they thought the dinosaurs were so big? Maybe we're re-entering a time when this is necessary for moving forward?

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
.... seeing as the title mentions one....

Recent submarine 'issues' around the globe -

•August 12, 2000 – The Russian Oscar-II class submarine Kursk with 118 crew members sinks to the bottom of the Barents Sea after an explosion triggered a raging fire in the vessel. A 2002 report said a torpedo fuel leak caused the massive explosion.

•February 9, 2001 – The nuclear submarine USS Greeneville’s rudder tears through the Ehime Maru’s lower deck during a fast surface maneuver, sinking the Japanese fishing boat within minutes. Nine people aboard die, including students and instructors in commercial fishing. Twenty-six people are rescued.

•August 30, 2003 – A Russian nuclear-powered submarine, the K-159 sinks as it is being transported through the Barents Sea on its way to a scrapyard at the port of Polyarny. Nine out of the 10 crew aboard die.

•January 9, 2005 – One crewman dies after the U.S. nuclear submarine San Francisco runs aground off Guam in the Pacific Ocean. Another 23 crewmen are injured.

•August 1, 2005 – One worker is killed and another seriously injured in an explosion on a decommissioned Victor-III class Russian nuclear submarine docked in the northern shipyard of Severodvinsk for dismantling.

•September 6, 2006 – A fire on board a Viktor-III class Russian navy submarine kills two crew. The St Daniel of Moscow was moored in the Barents sea, north of the Rybachiy peninsula near Russia’s border with Finland when it caught fire.

•March 21, 2007 – Two British soldiers die and another is injured on HMS Tireless during an exercise in the Arctic.

•November 8, 2008 – More than 20 people are killed and another 21 injured by toxic gas when a fire safety system misfires on Russia’s Nerpa nuclear submarine during trials in the Sea of Japan.

•October 22nd, 2010 – The Royal Navy's newest and largest attack submarine HMS Astute 'runs aground' off the Isle of Skye. Complete loss of power is experienced.

•March 31st, 2011 - HMS Vengeance returns to Faslane naval base on the surface after developing mechanical problems while on a training exercise. Complete loss of power, similar to that experienced by HMS Astute is reported. According to the MOD the problems were not nuclear related.

•April 8, 2011 – Two Royal Navy personnel are shot, one fatally, on board the Astute, a British nuclear submarine in the southern English port of Southampton. Another sailor is later arrested. The 7,500-tonne vessel is the first of a new class of British nuclear-powered submarines which will be the largest and most powerful attack submarines ever built for the navy. The submarine had run aground the previous October for ten hours near the Skye Bridge and the captain was relieved of his command the next month.

•December 30, 2011 – A fire aboard the 167-metre (550 feet) 18,200-tonne Yekaterinburg is extinguished after blazing for nearly a full day and night. Nine people are injured. The submarine is based at the Roslyakovo dock, one of the main dockyards of Russia’s Northern Fleet, 1,500 km (900 miles) north of Moscow.

^^ "The rubber covering of the submarine then caught fire, sending flames and black smoke 10 meters (30 feet) above the stricken vessel. Firemen battled the blaze for a day and a night before partially sinking the submarine to douse the flames, according to media reports."

Is the rubber the stuff John Lear talks about? (D.D) which enables faster travel through the water by creating an elecromagnetic envelope around the vessel.

Could the 'level' of resistance be increased or decreased I wonder? Is this possibly what a calibrator might be? Not really happy with the description to date of what it actually IS.

I am sure there are a lot more incidents. I found these whilst searching for ideas regarding calibrators, and centred my searches around Russian subs, specifically looking for electrical equipment failures that may have arisen from hasty re-fits.

- I'll keep looking then....
