She looked awefully rusty for an opperational vessel. I wonder if that skin had been eaten away by something, exposing the raw steel? I have no basis for that statement, just some speculation. Also interesting that there were some (60) crew on board a ship designed to opperate with (40). The sonar, and obviously the radome at the front were stuffed. Cover for fitting of new 'callibrators'? A new technology might simply be a camera, such as the Chinese hi-res sattelites orbiting the moon. Remember the 'poll on the organism' thread? I put a small update on some thoughts I had, that sway the outcome for me, in one particular direction.
