If those in the know, understand a situation and are preparing for it, then the greater good would be the imperative. If it's about invasion or disaster, then just have to prioritise life, and ignore that millions or billions might die in hope that we will prevail.

What appears as a bad thing may be the only way forward to achieve that?

So from a layman's perspective things might appear evil, or against us.

Aco always said 'I sat on a fence', never committed to blue or red, and that hasn't changed.But I try to see any situation from as many perspectives as possible.

But in the end I go with my gut. (somewhat more sizeable now than when we were engaged on the thread originally!! LOL So does that give it more impotus?)

The more eyes that look for things, and the more minds that think about what it might have all been about, despite the lack of new intel makes it so interesting. Remember how we all bounced off each other? Agreed/dissagreed with each other, even with Aco or NE?

Hi Lance: certainly the sun was yellow in my youth also, and has turned white. My understnading is that it is now helium based - don't remember how I got hold of that, but let's say a fundamental change which extends its life - and which heightens the vibrations of planets nearby (i.e. us), and if we cannot cope with that higher vibration (being of low, coarse mind without morals, and of low quality / diseased physical body) then these are times in which we are severely challenged, up to the point where survival is not possible. Hence increase in "death statistics". Grave words, I know, but also a precursor to BETTER THINGS!

Hi DMGS: just looking by and seeing that you are very busy: and now, new topic cosmic phenomena. Cosmology is a topic which should be taught - very little material and not encouraged. Prevailing conviction that earth is a rock floating randomly through space, etc.

No-one in their right mind can look at a starry night and not fall into wonder, and not turn to specualting that there is so much more that the eye can see. I remember a story about the hubble or some other telescope which took a picture with an exposure of 11 hours. The lens was pointed at an "empty" piece of sky, but the resulting photograph after the long exposure had thousands of stars on it.

As I see it we are part of a huge and ordered system, and earth is quarantined off from that system temporarily due to rebellious behaviour, to cut a long story short. Interesting to see what happens next, because every era has to have closure.

We haven't seen it for the past two weeks because it has been crossing the farside of the sun. NASA's Perseverance rover has been keeping track of it from Mars:



Chilean astronomer Patricio Leon assembled these images using publically-available data from NASA. "They show the sunspot traversing the farside of the sun from left to right (March 1-9th)," explains Leon. "Individual images have been rotated to give a rough E-W alignment."

Perseverance's observations from Mars confirm that the sunspot is alive and well, still large, and possibly active. "Based the sunspot's motion in these images, it should reappear on the Earthside of the sun around March 14th," says Leon

The U.S. Navy is building an underwater test facility for hypersonic missiles, with plans to deploy such missiles on next-generation submarines from the early 2030s, a senior officer told Congress last week.

The testimony by Vice Adm. Johnny Wolfe, director for the Navy's strategic systems programs, offers a glimpse into the future scenarios that the U.S. military envisions.

As China fortifies its air defenses, submarine-launched hypersonics offer a better chance than land- or surface-ship- launched variants of penetrating its airspace and taking out key assets, such as command and control facilities. The success of such an opening salvo would be critical for the U.S. to send in follow-on ships and planes into the battle zone, analysts told Nikkei Asia.

The hypersonic missile the U.S. military is building is a non-nuclear weapon that flies five times as fast as the speed of sound on a shallow trajectory. It combines the speed of a ballistic missile and the maneuverability of a cruise missile and is intended to strike a target thousands of kilometers away in roughly 15 to 30 minutes.

In his written statement for a House Strategic Forces Subcommittee hearing held last Tuesday, Wolfe explained that the hypersonic missiles will first be delivered to the Army as the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon, and then to the Navy as a sea-based capability, initially on Zumwalt-class destroyers from the mid-2020s and then on Block V Virginia-class submarines in the early 2030s.
