Hello Everyone, I catch an early night and go off for a day at work and my goodness, there is sooooo much to get caught up on.....I have been reading for hours...Mighty fine work!

Found this on facebook...

OIL DRILLING AND EARTHQUAKES
Below you can see a series of composites, and side-by-side comparisons of all the seismic events in the Gulf of Mexico cross-referenced against MMS accident records, USGS & NOAA maps and charts, underground Hydrocarbon pathways off the coast , minor and major tectonic zones, fault line zones and more. After looking at these , you will ask yourself why they are allowed to drill there in the first place.

Concerning the current situation with the Macondo field blowout in the Gulf,.......... British Petroleum was over 30,000 feet into an area that had a known history of seismic movement . It's called the " Sigsbee Deep " and it's part of what's known as the " Gulf Coast Stress province "

also found this on RSOE Emergency and Disaster Information Service, Oxygen depletion

Hundreds of thousands of dead fish are washing ashore along the Delaware Bay and the leading theory is they perished from low dissolved oxygen levels in the water. The fish, juvenile menhaden, also known as "peanut bunker," were not washing up last night, according to a Rutgers University biologist based here the oyster research station Cape Shore Laboratory. "My field manager (Matt Newman) was here fishing last night and there weren't any dead menhaden, but he saw them jumping out of the water," said Gregory DeBrosse, facilities manager of Cape Shore Laboratory. DeBrosse arrived at 7 a.m. and saw the water and beaches were full of dead fish. He theorized the fish were up in the tidal tributaries and the recent hot weather lowered the dissolved oxygen levels in the water, leading to the fish kill. "This happened in the 1970's once at the same time of year," DeBrosse said. The fish were spread out on beaches from Pierce's Point in Middle Township to the Villas section of Lower Township. DeBrosse does not expect any impact on the millions of oysters being cultivated in the waters off the Cape Shore Laboratory.

Cam 2 on [link to www.jtnog.org] is 'jittering'. Not the whole image, just certain parts. There is a cable coming out of the floor of the gulf, which is not jittering. Is this just a video glitch, or maybe something else. Some strange looking things have been coming up either from the floor or from inside the floor... can't tell. This cam will not let me do a screen capture.

just looked...thats strange, it has to be a camera thing...right?

lol... if it's not. I really don't know. Cam 1 seems to be steady and it is right next to cam 2, even though you can't make out cam 2's position, it is parked right next to cam 1.

edit. And what is the cable for??

Here's why this happened: [link to edition.cnn.com]

Over 1 million fish and thousands of alligators, turtles, dolphins and other river wildlife are floating dead in numerous Bolivian rivers in the three eastern/southern departments of Santa Cruz, Beni and Tarija. The extreme TOXIC WATER containing Corexit and Methane that hit Bolivia in mid-July caused water quality to dip below the minimum standards river life can tolerate. As a consequence, rivers, lakes, lagoons and fisheries are brimming with decomposing fish and other creatures.

Today, on August 12th, Russia is holding mourning ceremonies in honor of the victims of the Kursk submarine disaster, which shocked Russia and the whole world ten years ago, August 12, 2000. The tragedy, which took place in the Barents Sea, took the lives of 118 men. All fleets of the Russian Navy and military districts are holding mourning ceremonies today.

 Quoting: Krispy71

A new antibiotic-resistant "superbug" has emerged in India and Pakistan and spread to British hospitals, and health professionals are warning that it could become a major problem worldwide. The bacteria have also been detected in the United States, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands and Sweden. British scientists blame the spread on medical tourism to India, often for cosmetic surgery. Scientists fear bacteria with a gene named NDM-1 (New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase-1) could jump to other antibiotic-resistant bacteria — most notably MRSA — and even common E.coli to create infections that would spread quickly and be nearly impossible to treat. Scientists say NDM-1 alters the bacteria, making them resistant to even the most powerful group of antibiotics, carbapenems. "There have been a number of small clusters within the UK, but far and away the greater number of cases appear to be associated with travel and hospital treatment in the Indian subcontinent," Dr. David Livermore, one of the researchers and who works for the U.K.'s Health Protection Agency, told the BBC. "This type of resistance has become quite widespread there." Three U.S. cases of NDM-1 were identified between January and June, The Wall Street Journal writes. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said the patients had received recent medical care in India. "The potential of NDM-1 to be a worldwide public health problem is great, and coordinated international surveillance is needed," the authors wrote. Researchers are also calling for new antibiotics to combat the superbug.
