Interesting development:

"BP's Crude Oil May Be Radioactive
New Orleans attorney Stuart Smith knows something about radiation from oil drilling:
Smith is well known for his role as lead counsel in an oilfield radiation case that resulted in a verdict of $1.056 billion against ExxonMobil for contaminating land it leased from the Grefer family in Harvey, Louisiana –– and attempting to cover it up.

***

The court stated that from June 1986 to March 1987, “Exxon officials intentionally withheld information,” and that the company “knew the [radioactive] scale posed a direct danger to the physical health of those workers.” Oilfield waste, or TERM, is primarily composed of radium, a highly radioactive chemical element. Exposure to radium is known to cause a variety of devastating illnesses, including cancer. Radium’s impact on the human body is particularly acute because it is similar chemically to calcium –– and as such is frequently absorbed into bones after entering the body."

Hot stuff, Nex! Another pitbull environmental lawyer, Mike Pappantonio, out of Pensacola, FL, has a huge class action against beepee. This guy is brutal and an associate of Riverkeeper Robt. Kennedy Jr. - guegol Ring Of Fire. Prolly a good idea to send him info from this thread. He'll get on the teevee machine, rear up and howl. Highly respected, he's won several high profile enviro degradation cases. Also doing battle with Don Blankenship over the mine disasters in W. Virginia, and the coal industry in general over mountaintop mining.

Makes you wonder if they are hiding something else found in test results, and don't want to set a precedent for having to reveal 'proprietary information'?

Yes, unfortunately I am still here. Everything about the vacation got delayed a day. My trailer is a 30 foot Mallard. It sits on the side of my house on a extension of my driveway, and there is a slight slope to the drive toward the back yard, which is solid forest.

Well, I went to hook it to the truck to pull it out to put our stuff in it, and I did a stupid. I removed the wheel chock first, and then tried to hook up the trailer. First time I ever made that mistake in 7 years of using the trailer.

I bumped the trailer tongue very slightly with the hitch ball on my truck, and all of a sudden, I saw my trailer driving away from me backwards.

This is not a problem with a normal yard, but my yard has a 15 foot drop on a 45 degree slope onot even 12 feet from the back of my house.

Well, the box is sprung, the siding is loose, cracked and crumpled, The water and sewage tanks are damaged, the air conditioner is sitting oddly, there is a new ditch at the bottom of the hill, and I am $450 poorer after paying for a tow company to get it out of there.

Police report, tow trucks, and calls to the insurance company.

We have decided that it would be best to get a hotel.

A day late, but what the heck.

Thanks. Yes - it is still a Julia Set. It is taken from one of the largest ever crop circle formations, back around 29-30th Jul 1996. (Location - Windmill Hill, near Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire, England.) Some called it a "Triple Julia Set" or "Treble Julia Set" or "The Windmill Hill Galaxy Formation".

Since you feel these photos are worthwhile, this is the last one I took after the long trip down the drill pipe and some further cruising around:

[link to i772.photobucket.com]

I have no idea what this is but the rob spent a lot of time examing it.

The picture on my old monitor is grainy. Appears to be at about 4800'. Costa's video I watched started showing pipe at 5000'. Is this sitting on the sea floor at 4800'? Can you post the actual depth shown in your pic?

I'm asking because we may be able to look underwater in likely coordinates at that level. Renegade can probably tell us how to do that. I can get underwater on google, but don't know how to read for depth.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1085581

I agree it is grainy but I think the depth is 4981 or 4991.
I can't do vids but took a series of screen shots of the recovery of some cylinder type equipment:
[link to i772.photobucket.com]
[link to i772.photobucket.com]
[link to i772.photobucket.com]
[link to i772.photobucket.com]
The depth on these photos is 4991 or 4991, very hard to read, sorry.

This equipment is now just hovering at depth 4910 and I think they are waiting for the basket as one of the rovs was hooking it up.

hey hans, quickly tell me how to make a link(for acomplete novice-read dumb arse) ithink the artical is still up.

When you read an article online, there will be a URL in a little window at the top of your browser. cut&paste into your copy and press <send>. If you have a MAC, just highlight and drag into what you are sending. A native English speaker may explain it better if what I say makes no sense.

Hi, I'm somewhat computer challenged myself. lol Since I have no clue how much you understand, I will try to include each detail of copying and pasting. Please don't feel insulted, I'm just trying to help. (My son fusses because I'm forever calling him for help)

Okay, you have the page of info to share open on your desktop, in another window (or tab, it has a + after each window to open another) you have GLP or where ever you want to share the info with.

On the page of the info, at the top is a long box, and in it is http : // www. whatever...
With me so far? That is the URL or link. Place your cursor on the URL, right click to highlight. (Note sometimes it only highlights part of the URL, if that happens click the mouse at the beginning, then click the right button and drag to highlight the entire URL.
Once the URL is highlighted, click the right mouse button again, this open a box with options, choose "copy".

How ya doing so far?
Now change windows/tabs to the site you wish to share the info with. Open the reply, say what you want, then when you want to place the URL in:
Have you cursor in place, right click (box appears) choose paste.

That should do it. Hope this helps. Good Luck

I have been watching this thread since the first day, first post. Since I am a person who does not normally post to the thread, may I please offer some advice as a watcher?

You original posters had a wonderful relationship going that was very symbiotic. The understanding you have come up with together is amazing. I for one am grateful that I can read this thread and obtain the information that you could not find elsewhere.

So why do you feel the need to let new people in to your circle. Look at it like grade school. A group that plays together harmoniously. However, the new kid or kids come to school and start pitting one against the other and pretty soon you have a mini war with two sides.

Bringing others in to your symbiotic relationship will only serve to derail your purpose and set you back to a place that will make it hard for you to keep up with current understanding.

While it will not hurt for you to read the posts and ideas of others, for the sake of all of your hard work to this point, it may be best to keep your inner circle in tact. As many have said, you have no idea who are shills and who are giving you good info. The original group trusts each other and you should keep it that way and not allow the BS to stop your work.

Krispy, I am sorry you were picked on for your connection to the auganinsm. You are extremely empathic and truly a kind person. Don't let others get to you. For anyone to come on to this thread and start that sort of thing is a sad sight. That is proof that these sort of posts are meant to derail.

I hope you all continue to work together as you have. You are giving a lot of people an inside look at things they normally don't have access to. I am appreciative and will continue to watch again.

Hi all. Well pretty much caught up from page one. Lots of hard work by you all. I appreciate all your hard work and research.

Two things I have noticed.

No confirmation of any of the activities expressed by OP have come to light in any other publication.

Its seem to me that all the information expressed by OP is available on line. At times it seems as if OP was drawing from your research and posts.

This is not say that your research and findings are not possible and very interesting. I am not questioning that. I do however question the events depicted by OP

Keep up the good work. At this point it would seem to be speculative at best. But who knows maybe we will get confirmation from another source. Deffinately a truly valuable thread even if the OP is living in a dream. Take care one and all.

We were all new once upon a time. lol

what are UP-GRADES and their purpose.

GLP welcomes anyone to post anonmously, but encourages membership which is free. With a membership you select your handle (name you wish to go by), you get a profile where others in the community can learn a little bit about you, you can edit your posts, you can receive emails/personal messages (but cannot send any), you can also choose from quite a variety of pics to appear with your handle when you post, you can friend others as well. With an up-grade, you can send emails/personal messages to other members, there is a separate forum for paying members as well, you can do personal pins of threads and unpins of the pins by the mods, there are some other small perks that make it more enjoyable to use and frankly, I'm still learning about all the benefits because I only was upgraded about four days ago. lol

"Shill" can also be used pejoratively to describe a critic who appears either all-too-eager to heap glowing praise upon mediocre offerings, or who acts as an apologist for glaring flaws. In this sense, they would be an implicit "shill" for the industry at large, possibly because their income is tied to its prosperity.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Hope this was helpful, but we really should stay with the thread topic. I understand reluctance to post a thread asking questions in the main forum, you would get a lot of gruff, but almost always someone is caring enough to answer your questions. Or, you could email a mod (they all have an email address to reach them with every post) I'm sure they would help you. But it really isn't proper to take the thread off topic. If your uncomfortable with asking a mod, (it can feel intimidating because that have power) just do a call out to me, and we will start a different thread to resolve your issues. Glad to have you join our group on this thread, hopefully you can benefit from it and contribute to it.

Makes you wonder if they are hiding something else found in test results, and don't want to set a precedent for having to reveal 'proprietary information'?

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

Hmmm are we having rolling AC numbers again? Or is this just a different poster?

Its not unsual for numbers to change. Mine changes each time I lodge on. Sometimes the IP is even a banned one and I have to diconnected and relog. Depends on how you are connecting. I connect with a mobil phone hooked to my computor. I have no control over the IP address etc. Might be the case with others as well.

I too have been watching from the first day but have to respectfully disagree. The fact that some posters have put extraordinary effort into the thread is obvious but it does not give them right of ownership. The thread was begun by OP and the rest of us are merely players.Hopefully we can leave our egos out of it and learn to cooperate as a working unit regardless of when we became interested in the thread.Personal attacks are childish as is cliquishness.Let's give credit where credit is due and then get on with the job at hand in an atmostphere of mutual respect and harmony.
