'Intelligent' oil droplet navigates chemical maze

13:00 15 January 2010 by Colin Barras
The full version of this article contains the video ""Intelligent" droplet". Visit NewScientist.com from your desktop computer to view.

There's some humbling news from the chemical world for anyone who has ever found themselves lost in a garden maze. A simple droplet of organic solvent can find its way through a complicated labyrinth with nothing more to go on than a slight pH difference.

For the poster who made the connection between the behaviour of oil and the pH of it's surroundings!

I was under the impression that Tesla was responsible for making Edison's delivery of electric lights to the wealthy New Yorkers safe (dc had started many fires) by converting the system to ac, shortly after he arrived in America . Got this from Tesla's biography . Edison ripped him off by not paying him the promised $$ for this service.

It's the 21st century and we continue to have older, wealthy "Yankees" moving South who laugh as us because "We got our electric power set up first and made the South wait for electricity." Many areas in the Southern USA did not have power until after WWII. There remain a few homes around powered by a bare wire, wrapped around a ceramic spool which has been nailed to the wall.

Why is the truth so necessary for some?

Until some evidence shows up, the speculation is enough of a distraction. I truly see no need to disparage or discredit anyone.

Granted, there is no proof, and I have complained about it in the past, to no avail.

But I am still here, still trying to link information together to create a plausable explanation of the story as given by the OP.

Does it matter if hard evidence has surfaced and we can now say that it is all gloom and doom? No, not hardly.

.........
 Quoting: Housedad

Whether the truth is necessary might be relative to where you sit in the "theater."

Some in the US are dealing with reports from rig workers that they had been seeing surfaced subs in the GOM before April 20th. These guys don't read Sorcha. Also, we had the sighting by a boater near the coast of Florida of having sighted a sub close to his boat. There must have been the possibility of some element of truth to t he boater's story because he got published in local news.

We all believe that subs from different countries regularly patrol the coast of the US, but we don't "see" them.

Then the BEZERK thread pops up with a story about submarines. At this point, noone at official level can be believed.

The submarine story sounds good because it fills in some blanks. I would very much like to have some "truth."

for those whom understand

pg4
op:
Ok, captain confirms surface but waiting for all fires to be out. Then he will open main hatch

Another two DED channels is now open. One from office of Prazuck, other from Mistral command

[link to secretdefense.blogs.liberation.fr]

According to our information, the cons-Admiral Christopher Prazuck should be very soon called "Alfusco", that is to say admiral commanding the naval force of marines and commandos. He will take office this summer, Lorient, in the succeeding Admiral Marin Gillier, who is leaving for the Indian Ocean.

Admiral Prazuck is not born of commandos, which however, is not a first for this position. Naval officer, surfacier Christophe Prazuck served for ten years in the field of communication (Sirpa-Marine DICoD, Ema-Com). He is currently a spokesperson for the General Staff of the army.

Like many things in life, it is a excercise in imagination and faith. Not religeous faith, but faith that something may come of it.

Without that kind of imagination, faith, and a determination to continue on even when it seems hopeless or useless to take another step, there would be no Scientific inquiry or the development of the world we now know.

Will the thread bear fruit? I don't know. But I do know that trying to dismiss it out of hand and having detractors at every turn is either malicious, self centered, or ignorant.

Have some faith, and let the thoughts and the waves of speculation carry you out to the unknown sea and the possibility of a new shore.

edited to change the word 'that' to 'if'
 Quoting: Housedad

The only reason I will re-post is that "IF" this is an hoax and I can be wrong and if I am I will be big enough to admit it. But it all points out to that the 3 are involve in this hoax, and if it is true, they have used the greatest earth disaster to make a BUCK and that is wrong. If OP doesn't return than all will know that this is an hoax and Nexus should donate all of the money earned to the people of the Gulf that want to leave but can't.

Look at OP post and it clearly show that he posted the OZICELL post and has denied it.

.......

Back to topic folks,

how would do you -in retrospect- NOW define the terms "splash zone" and "rim" with respect to the current state of information given?
 Quoting: bru

OP has referred to pipe cavity "A" and pipe cavity "B." I don't read that this as a "pipe" that a submarine can navigate into as posed by some after OP said the Israeli sub entered, or attempted to enter the pipe cavity.

Opinion: The well pipe(s) from Well "A" and Well "B" have developed cavities where the pipe entered the seabed. The cavity(s) is the crack in the seabed which has grown large enough for a submarine to scout and report back with information. OP reported one pipe has collapsed, which I take to mean has completely disappeared into the cavity.

"Rim" is the edge around the cavity where submarines cannot get too close or there is unusual gravitational pull which negatively affects operations. The Israeli super-sub is the only one which could dive deep enough and counter the gravitational pull to enter the pipe cavity, where it was blocked. Due to this, that sub may not be, at least partially, non-operational.

"Splash Zone" are those immediate areas directly affected by the micro-organism emerging from the cavity. Initially, the organism drifted upwardly in column formation, but has recently jumped over into the spreading underwater oil plume.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
I have been helping Krispy with resumes...and at that point in time, things were moving so quickly that 7 became overlooked....I have lost my own computer, am borrowing one, so when I get a new one...I will go back and do a resume 7...but right now I can't get it done...

Thanks breezy, realy realy appreciate yours and Krispy's work! Good luck with finding a new comp...

i dont see the point of rewriting all this and omiting the oposition parts but it goes a long way to explain pepols atitude

The point is, at the beginning, they were a re-write. I had disagreed with the meaning of some of the phrasing in the rewrites, but did not see any benefit in asking for corrections.

First, Nexus didn't get involved until this thread had been humming for about a month, maybe even more. So if this was a hoax, it was elaborate as all hell as it took more than a month to set up. Second, LFY and ej have made your feelings more than abundantly known and yet feel the need to show up nearly everyday and reinterate...why? Speaking of speculation and truth, ej mysterious shows up and goes on a personal crusade concerning dyslexia right after the report of government officials needing to do a better job of debunking conspiracy sites; notice no one has thrown this out there but using the same logic ej did to 'discredit' op, nexus and krispy I can say he is just an UK government shill sent to high jack and end the leak of covert information.

So I thank you for bringing to light that he didn't enter in discussion until after a month after this tread was started. This is just another proof that it is an hoax as he pinned that tread the day it was started. How do you explain that???

Then why does this tread appears in his profile page under "Treads in nexuseditor's personal PINS???

So again I thank you for helping in bringing this very important fact to light..

The truth will set you free...
