this has been discussed alot way back in the piece. no definite answer but many options given. afrench embassy is french soil, though i dont know how "I.T"conection would be flagged. although we have established there are ways to manipulate this.

Bru: You are correct, I will find more of these little booboos at Christmas. (Going by English rules) I remember the sound, not the spelling.

Edit to add: When I was at Daimler in US, I had a boss who would cut short a long conversation by just saying "auf wiedersehen" and walking off. Sometimes when you would be mid-sentence. When I first met that guy I thought he was a draftsman. Later I saw him on television

Why is the truth so necessary for some?

Until some evidence shows up, the speculation is enough of a distraction. I truly see no need to disparage or discredit anyone.

Granted, there is no proof, and I have complained about it in the past, to no avail.

But I am still here, still trying to link information together to create a plausable explanation of the story as given by the OP.

Does it matter if hard evidence has surfaced and we can now say that it is all gloom and doom? No, not hardly.

Whether the truth is necessary might be relative to where you sit in the "theater."

Some in the US are dealing with reports from rig workers that they had been seeing surfaced subs in the GOM before April 20th. These guys don't read Sorcha. Also, we had the sighting by a boater near the coast of Florida of having sighted a sub close to his boat. There must have been the possibility of some element of truth to t he boater's story because he got published in local news.

We all believe that subs from different countries regularly patrol the coast of the US, but we don't "see" them.

Then the BEZERK thread pops up with a story about submarines. At this point, noone at official level can be believed.

The submarine story sounds good because it fills in some blanks. I would very much like to have some "truth."
