Scientists to drill 13,000ft into active volcano in test that could cause earthquake

Scientists are planning to drill 13,000ft into the heart of an active volcano in Italy in an attempt to protect the nearby city of Naples by gauging when it is likely to erupt.

Dear friends, I'm certain most astute readers of this thread can surmise why 'table' salt is pure white and true sea salt isn't.

....."The prevailing viewpoint of modem medicine is that salt is a general poison, like alcohol and tobacco. Salt has been vilified as the great devil at the dinner table. People have been taught since childhood that "salt causes high blood pressure." Books on salt-free cooking are more popular than ever. If you call up the American Heart Association, they will send you brochures on the dangers of salt. The health media are always looking for simple, easy answers that don't require much thinking. Therefore, they routinely present the same, reckless, across-the-board advice to avoid salt whether you desperately need it or not. The tact that our population is a vastly heterogeneous group, with grossly divergent biochemistries, makes no difference to them. The chant is always the same: "Salt is bad!" It’s gone far enough. This dogma must END. 'The idea that salt in the diet has some positive value is totally ignored." - Dr.A.M. Heageny, M.D., Department of Medicine, Leicester, United Kingdom. To present the other side of this controversy, I choose to interview one of the leading proponents of salt in the world. This man is a California biochemist name Dr. Jacques de Langre. Dr. de Langre has been studying the health benefits of salt for over 30 years. He has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Brussels. He wrote two books on this topic, "Sea Salt's Hidden Powers." and "Sea Salt, the Vital Spark for Life."

The romans withheld salt from their prisoners to cause them a slow and painful death. Salt balances the potassium levels in our bodies, we need it.

Maybe the deal is that China absorb North Korea as the current leader steps down, it then becomes a part of China. They probably already pay for most of it anyway.

1) Keen insight. This would be a prime time for China to flex their collective

muscle. We'll see soon.

2) DHLOS. Respect and gratitude to you. Your input is invaluable. I'm from

Florida, with lots of small children. This is life and death for us. Every

piece of information is a gift.

3) Once again, gratitude to all the brilliant and tireless thinkers and posters.

I, too have spent a huge amount of time and thought on this site, and

am lucky that my family understands and agrees. Figuring this out

is all that really matters right now, in addition to loving my family and

those placed in my life with all that I have. And trying to peacefully accept

that our lives are going to be changed forever, in ways we cannot conceive.

4) I would absolutely purchase several T-shirts, when the slogan is

settled upon; It would commemorate some of the finest thinking

of which I have ever been a (tiny) part

Like the Himalayan Salt, too, but my absolute fav is the Hunza "dirty salt". Looks real funky, and has a real different taste (hint of sulphur) that really grows on ya.
While I don't add salt to my cooking, I add it at the table on almost everything. Can't imagine life without salt! But then I don't have much respect for the allopathic medical model.

OK, so the Intel Hub advertises GLP, but this article spotlights the other oil spills for which BP is responsible, and got minimal media coverage. Evidently, these goons have never heard of infrastructure maintenance. If we have to live in a fascist world, it would be nice if Big Bidniz could get the basics down.
Note to myself: Dream on!

It warms my heart to know that this thread is providing that kind of service for folks in the Gulf. Just like Whitebeard, most of my family lives in the Gulf Coast states, and it's soooo frustrating that they refuse to consider the simple reality they face, much less the BESERK info. We wish our families embraced this awareness and it's heart breaking that they do not. Yes, thank you a million times.

Someone end this thread.

Sun at his back, he came riding into camp that hot and dusty afternoon. Surprised us. We were in a foul mood, Prima Donnas standing off the Elmer Gantrys, bravados flexing before the girls, and flower hatted ladies giving dirty looks at the persona-non-grata. To get our attention, the stranger fired his big six guns into the air and shouted “someone end this thread!” We all turned and laughed, then he turned and fled with his golden ringlets flying along behind him.

Hey, thanks pard, we needed that. Things were getting a little tense until you came. Adios!

My location...gets on average, 270 days of gray skies and clouds in one years' time...270 days out of 365...and this year it was even worse...We've probably not had more than, oh, I'll even say, 45 days total w/o rain, for the whole year..Right now...I long for white sandy beaches, Palm Trees, some sunshine, and temps over 70...(we probably haven't had 20 days total, over 70 degrees)..and now the rainy season is here....so yes, I'd love to sent it to you for awhile..
