I see some have rejoined us. Back from dinner?

Don't mind me, I have been on an ex-pat forum and I am still thinking in German.

Fairflight was it you that posted about all the water being drained from the lake earlier?

No, I believe that was Tutu.

Sorry, wasn't logged in!

At least I know Tutu was one of them. I think there were a couple.

Huh???
What lake?
Not Devil's Lake - it's filling up.
I did talk about Clear Lake (CA) as the scene of a big ufo flap ten or so years ago, and Lake Kaweah being the scene of odd happenings.
Wasn't that was it?
Break to fix dinner.....
later.

No worries. Sorry for the confusion...I will go back and see what I thought I was posting about. Check in later!

Does this story have anything to do with it?--> Thread: River disappears overnight after loud detonation noise is heard

>On Tuesday night 2km of the river Iska in Slovenia disappeared and left behind fish on dry ground. The residents are saying that they heard a huge bang in the night. It sounds like they are describing it as a possible earthquake-like sound although there was no tremor. One woman said that it was like a huge detonation, as if something big had crashed onto the ground. People went out of their homes to see what was falling down, only to witness the river being drained.

To make this story even more strange, last week there were devastating floods in Slovenia and this river like all others was flooding land and properties. Could it be that some strange technology is being tested here for flood defence purpose? The official explanation is that due to the karst nature of the terrain the river went underground through this tiny hole (see pictures in link below), but the residents are highly sceptical as they have never witnessed anything like that ever (bearing in mind this river has flooded many times before).

For pictures (language is Slovenian): 24ur.com...

[link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov]

Animation showing the comet crossing our path.

"WOW! According to the orbit animations of the link, the Earth will be beside the comet for over a month - and then the comet crosses our elliptic immediately in front of us! We will be in the tail around the middle of November."

WOW is right...thanks rken for this...most interesting on quite a few levels.

RKEN, help me please, to understand. When I looked at that diagram, it looked

to me as though our (earth) orbit and the comet's orbit DIRECTLY INTERSECTED.

I admit I know less than nothing about astronomy, but the two lines clearly

met each other further along. Can you explain a bit more for a neophyte?
 Quoting: Pondering Mightily

Well I'm hardly an expert. But the way I understand it is.

Incoming astroid crosses in front of the earths path. some say that as an astroid moves through space, it breaks up, chunks or pieces, a debrea field is left behind which we will be passing through. This could create a number of small inpacks on earth or a great meteor show. Depends on the comet and how much of it breaking up and also the time between it arrival on our eliptic and our arrival at the same point. It would appear to be a couple of days.. rken

Just a thought....

WHY did BP have all that Corexit???

To store anything like that needs a large storage setup, and I am assuming on it's description, it is reactive, so is difficult to store.

So, we have a large storage setup, and a large stock of chemical - both cost a LOT of money$$$$$....

Then, how did they get the Corexit onto the site as fast as they did? For the amount reported, it would need a few ships at least, so a lot of organisation - in a VERY short time!!!

They either have a VERY GOOD disaster plan - designed for a MASSIVE SPILL or they were expecting things to happen....

me wonders......

The stocks of 9500 ran out at some point, thus the official figure of 1.8m gallons or whatever.

The rest of the spraying has been done with 9527, which had probably been stockpiled in the years before there was a great deal of concern with things like public exposure to industrial solvents.

I am just guessing, there are tons of chemicals all over the place...

And another thought (ouch, 2 in one day, and only 1 coffee)...

Many years ago, a book by George Hunt Williamson - "The Lost Continent of Mu" in where he talks about many of the continents 'floating' on large gas bubbles.

These bubbles ruptured and in doing so, Mu (the motherland - the large continent in the Pacific) sank beneath the waves.. The islands such as Hawaii, Tonga, Easter Island, etc. are just the tops of the original mountains.

Proof that these places were linked can be found - not just with the ocean drift theories.... How come there are several Easter Island statues on the top of a mountain in Tahiti?

And...

A Kiwi (New Zealander) who worked with me told us that New Zealand is sitting over a gas bubble - 20Km (16 miles) high, and this vents a little through their volcanos, but if it ruptures, most of NZ will fall into the hole - up to 20Km down! (Surf's up in Sydney).

So, if our industrial intelligensia (ha ha) decide to 'crack' the gulf gas dome, and the gas vents, just what is likely to sink? And the resulting waves and effects would surely cost more in equipment and damage than any possible profit.. (and with mass deaths, less people to enslave and sell things to)..

Why so much corexit?

I tend to lean that they just had more money than brains. They just kept buying it and buying it. Then when the new stuff came out, they bought a huge stockpile to catch up. Then probably just did not do anything with the old stuff as it was still good and no buyers.

Corporate indifference.

OH! I thought that was James Churchward, but nevermind. Ever since I read about the large methane bubble beneath the sea floor in the GoM, I have been remembering that drawing showing all the underground gas channels in the Pacific. The ones that blew on Lemuria were close the the sea floor itself. I was really edgy around those images for a long time. Lots of stress when loved ones are in the Gulf States at this time. Just makes you realize the impermanence thing, doesn't it!

"Are extraterrestrial factors involved, and if so, what?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1087173

Yes. However, although the organism itself is primordial to our existence its been programmed to lay and wait(hibernate) and to AWAKE at a certain time of our solar time and position by an extraterrestrial presence/race soon before their return. We unfortunately do not know how near "soon" is. "Soon" could be anything from moths to years. In simplistic terms we speculate the organism is preparing the oceans, climate and geological setup of the earth to become more "visitor" friendly for the returning masters who programmed and created/breaded this organism in the first place. Some have used the term "terra forming". That term fits in with our speculation and understanding of what is happening with our planet."

interesting. but idont think that the proof of these islands being linked PHYSICALY can be deduced by similar rock art between these two places. the polynesians were the greatest sea fareing race known. It has been found that they traveled freely all throughout the pacific after initially seeking out and discovering thousnds of needles in this vast oceanic haystack . Culture would travel with new settlers. Alot of these island cultures stil have stories of thier arrivals over the sea from their homelands and of hero the navigators that found them .A great study was done by a chap called dr David Lewis. He wrote a book in the 60`s called "We the Navigators"where he tried to document ancient Polynesian navigation techniques before they died out completely. The stuff he found out is facinating. Unfortunally most of the knowlege has been lost, with only scraps left. Highly recomend this read. on the note of gas bubbles bursting, when NZ farts look out OZ. thanks ac will have to check out George Hunt Williamson.
