Thanks Krispy.

This is a big PDF on GMO research on those bacteria mentioned in the huffpost article.

[link to cosmos.ucdavis.edu] (big file, watch out!)

"Due to the broadness of the field, we should focus on one specific idea: genetically modified marine organisms to clean oil spills."

The asteroids are a diversion. They are not real, they are CGI induced images.
Quote

There will be two more "surprise" near-asteroid events within the next three to four weeks to keep our collective focus off the real story that is unfolding:

A fleet of 400 ships, each more than two miles long, will reach our solar system by the first week in November. We've been tracking their progress for over eight years and did not know for sure that they were heading our way until mid-2008. Once this armada reaches our solar system, even amatuer astronomers will be able to view them. We do not yet know what their intentions are, as they have not responded to any of our messages (We began trying to make contact in Sept. 2008).

I am breaking my employment agreement by posting this information here, but in a few weeks time it will not matter anymore.

Sea Brat: Oil Spill Remedy that BP Is Trying to Deny

"I make Sea Brat. The thing that has been tricky to explain is that all of our products were made for bioremediation. We mix a liquid blend of enzymes and oil eating microbes. These microbes are formulated just for these hydrocarbons. They are basically typical, natural microbes or psudomonas. They are aerobic meaning they use oxygen. These are basically fed only hydrocarbon chains until they develop the enzymes necessary to metabolize the hydrocarbon."

Fair enough.

I am an reasonably new doom-tard, so I don't know enough about Reuters to say this or that... I can say with some certainty that Gabriel and the AC have sufficiently impressed me that the timing must be sooner than mid october for the full election effect to take place. In one way I am happy about that but really it's going to be sad and suck for everyone involved... a real bloodbath if we are seeing it right (politically anyway).

If the major news services are covering it in the US then shit is going to break. That's what I think. :)

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
.....

In regards to delegation, there is a particular AC, or group of AC's, that keeps posting the line from the federal clean water act, that say the President, and the President alone, bears ultimate responsibility for the cleanup of any discharge in US territory. I know it is a recursive argument to use GLP evidence to support a GLP argument, but that particular poster has been such a dedicated infowarrior that I can suspect, albiet with low confidence, that he has an agenda not entirely of his own making in keeping that meme alive on our forums in almost every thread about Corexit. Has the Multi-colored Dancing Obama Clean Water Act Excerpt AC done a pass through here?

Perhaps you and Gabriel are right about the timing. Based on your responses, I think it is due to happen sooner than I thought, this week seems plausible. Oh boy... I wonder if it will be a slow leak to a gusher, or if there is going to be some kind of big False Flag MSM event that gets everyones attention focused back down south and then a shock-and-awe style title wave of what we all already know for the sheeple?

I like it when things are verifiable... we'll see this week or next.

I will keep my eye on the Arctic Sunrise. [link to www.marinetraffic.com]

Arctic Sunrise is currently: Bottom Grabbing in a Canyon NE of the DWH wellhead area: [link to www.greenpeace.org]
 Quoting: American Mentat

About the Clean Water Act, there are several levels, and locally we are dealing with these issues. The installed g'ment has the right to "delegate" and that is basically what the O Admin has done by allowing the DoD to authorize BP to take control of the containment and cleanup of the spill. Under these circumstances, O is no more directly responsible for the containment and cleanup, except for the fact that ultimate responsibility is with the authorizing g'ment and in the US, the buck stops at the Oval Office.

I don't think that anyone in their right mind is actually suggesting that the g'ment appoint a czar, set up a Dept of BP Oil Spill Cleanup, together with all the related government bureaucracy that goes with it, which would in effect put the US government in the oil and gas drilling business.

My concerns are these:

First, that the government knows that the reservoir has been breached and the oil/gas continues to gush and that BP, by lack of "public" response to that incident, has not taken responsibility for the breach, [switch the wells on the cams and lied about it] and the rig workers were killed in the cover up blowout of the Deepwater Horizon Rig;

Second, that the EPA and the US Ghost Guard allowed the spraying of Corexit without a satisfactory explanation. This explanation is a MUST DO, because of the dangers of the chemicals and the catastrophic effect of the dispersal.

Do you start putting department heads on the chopping block in the middle of all this? Probably not a good idea. I'd guess that these guys and gals already have their lawyers.

Right now, what it comes down to for the immediate term, is exactly what one of the Gulf Coasters said on a vid:

"Don't let BP roll outta here until the mess is cleaned up."

If BP makes an attempt to leave, then the US needs to physically possess every piece of equipment and every asset owned by the company, even it it takes possession at gunpoint. Others are guilty, but BP is the party that agreed to do the containment and cleanup in exchange for control of the operation.

October surprise, surprise attack on big citys, unpredicted eclipse of the sun, fireballs show that will let appear a red comet from the twiligh, pole shift (cold weather vs hot weather), God will show your sins in a unexpected way, full moon will turn red. The Great Warning of the coming apocalypse. All that at the same time.

One of the major problems with this thread as I see it is that it has a far lower standard for "truth" than GLP at large.

Links and evidence are not required for factual assertions to be taken seriously, and in fact, it seems the less well stated and backed up your assertion, the more play it gets.

For my part, I will keep from bringing down other posters (as I would on GLP at large for undocumented statements over and over again...) and simply hold my own standard up for those who want such things.

Thanks, and let's have a good few weeks until this SHTF. :)

hoped for a soft winter, a warning from Polish meteorologists gives us creeps. They believe this winter will be the coldest in the last 1000 years.

I spoke to my counterpart in our London office on Friday and told her that their winter will mostly likely be colder than any winter that she could remember and she asked why. When I told her, she said she hadn't heard anything about it over there in the news. Just like we don't hear anything in the news about the GOM.

I actually think, aside from all the BS, we at GLP are some of the most news savy people on the net.

Something that washed over me a couple of day's ago, a convo with a colleague in passing. We're well used to Chinooks flying over the City of London heading for Woolwich Barracks, allegedly. Now something new. My friend lives in Walthamstow (NE London) and has noted that there is now an Apache helicopter flying over his area at least a couple of times a day.

WTF? Do we live in Londonistan?
