When OP said there were black boats with no markings, that is what I was thinking.

Xe has an attack capable air force. Wouldn't surprise me if they're operating in the gulf under the clean up premise.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
TX Pat,
Your sumary on the whole afternoon is great!

What do you make of the timelines?

I'm don't have military experience, so I really cannot speak to credibility of time lines or even make speculation.

As far as claimed events, though, the only thing that really bothers me about today's reports is the surface to air missile. One would think, if true, regardless of who is doing the shooting, the US would have every jet scrambled and other vessels deployed to the area. In other words, the missile situation should have created a response that could not be ignored and could easily be confirmed.

BUT THEN AGAIN, one would think that the entire Air Force would have immediately been in the air when four jets were reported high-jacked in 2001.

Today my gut is telling me in this order:

1. This is planned war games.

2. This is a psy ops on us with intent to read/research/gather response and reaction (believability, etc).

3. This guy is writing a novel...and I'll be first in line to purchase.

.
 Quoting: TX PATRIOT 1011195

You may be right. I thought about the possibility of psy ops while it was going on and threw in a few little twists, just for fun.

could this have happened close to the coast of venezuela?

where those jets a chavez response?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1016158

Ships in GOM had to have known something was going on and it was not near the Venezuelan coast.

[link to www.sailwx.info]

Several times during the afternoon I posted this link to commercial and private ships' location in the Gulf. Note that as of now they are scattered around the Gulf near the sea-going lanes.

Earlier, several ships were lined up defensively along the edge where all the US coastal rigs are located with another line of ships lined up headed mostly toward the Atlantic. I also posted two ships timeline showing they had been headed into the central Gulf area, but at that time had turned and headed back out.

At the time of the event this afternoon, ships in the Gulf were either in port in South America, lined defensively along the well rigs, in a line headed to the Atlantic, or bunched along the Western coast of Florida.

The area South of Louisiana was wide open with no ships. Look at the link now.

My suggestion is that the dog fight if there was one) took place in an area 100-150 miles south of Louisiana.

As to where the four subsonic planes came from, take your pick. Who all, which countries are represented, in that guest list of visiting naval ships in California? Are there any aircraft carriers out there, just a hop, skip and a jump from the Louisiana coast?

Which aircraft carrier is missing a plane?

I received an email and wanted to say, It was rather noncommital on real or not, a little vague (not sure if that wasn't on purpose). I have emailed back and ask for a definitive yes or no, but I may have used my favor on this one, since he was watching this thread,so I'm not sure what I will get back. But I wanted to post and let you guys know that I received a response and still working on this..He did mention this was a "very touchy subject", so we'll see...

Thanks OP

Watcher... are you still here? Can you re-cap the last 42 pages for me from page 30 from where I left off last night? Sorry, little one's very sick again, haven't had time to read up on this, but it seems from page 71, it's still ongoing. Will be back on in 20 to check and see if you were able to let me know. Sorry, and thank you.

I was also following this thru the link, at the time, and noticed strings of ships from the key west area to the south. several were hauling 14/15 knots towards the center of the gulf, but one thing I noticed was this, the blocks showed like 142 ships to the south of the rig, then as soon as this happened and was over as far as I could tell, the numbers starting dropping, now I know this is civie traffic, but when you click the block to zoom, out of the 142 ships, only like 15 or 20 showed...not sure about that.

I also have similar sources... same/same... and I'm telling you for one thing... they're not going to email you shit. They aren't going to be able to tell you anything... they know that everything they do is sensored... it would be risking too much to elaborate on such an issue... especially as it's unfolding. I wouldn't think that he would risk telling you, especially as a chief. It's common knowledge that their families don't even know what's going on. My father died with many secrets. They take that kind of stuff very seriously, so I would think a chief would be like/minded with a military man.??? You really think he'd tell you. We didn't even get the truth from family, actively controlling the spill, about the amount of oil leaking... all information relayed to us, was consistent with released reports at the time. Unreliable/can't be ruled out...

Only one of the following can be true:

1) The OP's story

2) GLP is monitored by TPTB and would pull the plug if something like the OP's story had merit

If you had to pick one as being more likely, which would it be?

F U must be "short-bus" for 2.

2 would not happen. If it did, it would verify the op posting. Its better to leave the thread alone, and have the paid shills work their dark evil magic.

Good observation ... and plus... 1

By the way, your brother's gonna be really happy that you posted his picture on GLP in an article related to a sub being attacked and kept from the world... lol... I mean, for God's sakes, you could say, a family member, and let it go at that, what in the world would make you post pictures... unless you're a shill, and that's just a pic you found of someone wearing a uniform... doesn't take much to find out where that uniform came from either. But I won't say, just in case you're incredibly dumb, and we'll just hope no one dubs that pic on facial recognition software and has your bro's job at the end of the day.

Real smart.

The ring of truth is here.I wanted to give the "guy" the link because I knew there would be posts he should see, rather than emailing, he could see as they were posted, and gauge for himself. Also because I wanted him to know that I was involved in the thread and wanted to know the truth. I wanted to be honest with him. It may have cost me, but so be it. Anymore I have learned there are many shades of gray between black and white.

You know what's really f'd up watcher??? I'm just sitting here with my son. He's sick and I cannot get him well, and I'm sitting here. WTF AM I DOING? In the store, I just ran into a schoolteacher friend of mine, that's taught my boys. She asked how our summer was going and I told her the boys had been constantly passing this strange virus around, (which strangely comes back with each visit to the beach)... and then she said both her nephews have strep, and then that her other students have also had stomach virus issues. All issues that usually are expected with the flu or the beginning of the fall or winter type colds. I should leave. I feel it in the pit of my stomach, that I should pack what I can, and just go to my mom's or somewhere away from all of this. Then I think, but I've worked so hard, to own my own home, to give my babies a life, and I CANNOT FUCKING TRUST MY GOVERNMENT TO TELL ME WHETHER I SHOULD STAY OR LEAVE... and if you asked me to speculate, I'd say, that sub is a real deal, trying to get intel that will provide undeniable concrete proof that can be released so that we can make educated decisions about our futures.
