Wow Tex! Thanks for this! I'm right in Ft. Bragg. A few years ago, a couple of faults were discovered running perpendicular to the shoreline just north of town. One of them is Pudding Creek, about half a block from my current residence. I used to live right on the other side of the creek. I had no idea that the San Andreas was so close to shore. Thought it was further out.
I've ridden out earthquakes in SoCal before, so this doesn't bother me too awfully much....kinda like coming out of the chute on the back of a Brahma bull...BTDT.

It seems to be serious business at first glance doesn't it? A group of Air Force officers are finally blowing the whistle on the UFO cover up. They DO exist, these flying saucers, and the folks flying them have been fiddling around with nuclear weapons. It seems fairly definitive after all. Everyone knows that military people don't lie and these officers seem to have no agenda other than to tell the truth.

Free-Market Analysis: We were going to write an article about Afghanistan, which is not going especially well for the West, when our collective concentration was entirely ruined by a feedbacker who forwarded to us the article excerpted above. It's been around almost a month now, but we hadn't noticed it before. It certainly fits right into the "aliens among us" meme that we have been covering in some detail as of late.

We have received some pushback on the coverage of this dominant social theme, but those with whom we are privileged to converse (our insightful feedbackers, mostly) have been remarkably tolerant about our continued coverage, finding it in some cases nearly as noteworthy as we do. We are reporting on it not out of a lust for sensationalism or for the sake of amusement but because we find this particular promotion (that is what it is) to be highly disturbing.

There may be aliens "out there" and they may visit earth at some point, but the idea that they will visit RIGHT NOW, at this particular juncture and (in this case) to help humankind deal with the catastrophe of a "critical mass" of atmospheric carbon-dioxide is from our viewpoint cynical in the extreme.

This combining of the global warming meme with alien visitations is especially noteworthy. In fact, it doesn't seem so very effective now, but that is only because the global warming promotion has subsided. What seems to have happened, in our view, (as regards global warming anyway) was that this book was well into its formative stage when the "warmist" controversy blew up. Thus, what seems somewhat ludicrous today (to anyone who doesn't believe in manmade global warming) was actually supposed to be quite convincing, assuming that the elite had been able to pull off the anthropogenic warming scam.

What is also unsettling about this article is that while it was initially a press release, it was picked up at Yahoo.com and recast, partially, as an article. (This may be standard practice, but, if so, we are unfamiliar with it.) The item is also the product of an Air Force officer, and other Air Force officers are barnstorming the US (as we pointed out yesterday) with revelations of bright lights manipulating nuclear missiles some 30 years ago. Here's some more from the release:

I remember reading an article in either Science or Nature mag a couple of decades ago (at least) that the practice of factory farming using antibiotics as a prophylactic in livestock feed was the main cause of antibiotic resistant bacteria. They knew about this that long ago, and let the practice persist, knowing that it would only make more money for Big Pharma through the development of ever stronger antibiotics. Another crime against humanity committed by global corporate. Bacteria smarter than corporate? You betcha!

A detection system that was expanded following an Indian Ocean tsunami that killed 230,000 people has experienced significant outages and can no longer be relied on detect the giant waves as they approach the U.S. coastline, a new report finds.

The system, known as DART, or Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis, was expanded from six deep-ocean buoy stations to 39 in the months following the massive 2004 earthquake off Indonesia that spawned killer waves that washed ashore as far away as the east coast of Africa. Though there are DART buoys in the Atlantic and the Caribbean, most of them are located around the Pacific Ocean's "Ring of Fire" to give advance warning to Washington, Oregon, California and Alaska, where a tsunami landfall is thought more likely.

The gold particles are far too fine and widely dispersed to harvest as bullion. But scientists studying the interaction of volcanoes with the atmosphere use the gold as a valuable signature of Mount Erebus, distinguishing the ash of this volcano from that of all others.

Hayabusa Space Probe Reveals Extraterrestrial Particles

Japan's space agency has found particles in the capsule of the Hayabusa space probe that may be extraterrestrial.

The Yomiuri newspaper and Kyodo News agency reported that scientists discovered minute particles that may be from outside Earth. The newspaper said that their components have characteristics that differ from dust or aluminum powder samples that had been collected earlier.

The Hayabusa space probe was sent off to an asteroid seven years ago, and returned on June 24 with samples taken during its expedition.

It said it would hold a press conference on progress in its analysis later Wednesday. It will take months in order to get the final results.

Hayabusa faced technical problems during its journey. At one point, the probe spun out of control and lost contact with JAXA for seven weeks.
Once the probe finally latched onto the Itokawa asteroid, a pellet-firing system designed to stir up dust to gather samples malfunctioned.

Volcanoes spew that which hinders everything but they also spew monatomic elements into the atmosphere. This is now starting to be understood by this thread. The Gold mentioned here is already in metallic state but there is much more coming out in monatomic state. That does not analyse as gold. THAT SPREADS THROUGH THE ATMOSPHERIC ENVIRONMENT WHICH WE BREATH.
