PURULIA (East India): A criminal with alleged links to gangs across the country and even Afghanistan was nabbed in Purulia with nearly 1 kg of uranium on Sunday. The market value of the radioactive element is said to be about $7 million.

they found a box with 'URM, Made in USA' stamped on it.

No doubt it's going to be India. They have the patsy in place.

Strange things on this thread:

Thread: Alright there's a Nuclear Mock Drill going to be held in Florida (Page 9)

Thnaks A/C, This brings up something that just clicked

In Beevill Texas there is a large vein of uranium
running through a couple of counties.

The newspaper had a front page article just before
I left to be with family. I'm sure if anyone wants
to research it can find the article.

I've been here 77 days so look in that time frame,
Since I've been here there was a article refering
to china buying up a lot of land in Texas.

There is also this.....

From San Antonio to Beeville is approx. 2 hours.

Yesterday there was HUGE DIVERSION ON THIS THREAD!!!!
meanwhile Tiomio told us that BP was taking OFF the BOP and RECEMENTING.......then MOVING TO A SAFE ZONE!!!!!
the post was IGNORED!Why?
If e-mails and phone calls had not switched the cameras back on this whole scenario would have been missed!!!
THE CAMERAS WERE SWITCHED OFF SO THAT WE WOULD NOT FIND OUT THAT THE NEW BOP WAS COMING OFF AGAIN!!!! It is typical of BP BUT AT LEAST THIS TIME THEY WERE FOILED IN THE ATTEMPT TO PULL THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES!If this tgread is really about BP WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE???????????
Or was all the noise yesterday a diversion??????

1000+ COL !
My words were no diversion, nor others I think ...
I did see the post of Tiomio and Tutu replying on it.
At that time my head was clouded by sadness and a lack of energy. I did not looked deeper into it ...
A missed chance ... not ignored deliberately.

Glad to see that you are so alert !!
We need your alertness COL hf

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
This morning there is only 1 rov cam operating, no where near the wellhead. Looks like we are once again being blocked from viewing any activities of importance. For the record, and I watched cams for most of the day yesterday, there was no view of the well-head after the bop was removed - spewing out its poisoned debris. Due to the moving of the "rig" which I believe was the bop, to a safe zone, I am wondering if something happened at the wellhead. The last view that I saw of the bop was at approx. 3200' depth, some 2,000' above the wellhead.

The pressure to get those cams operating appears to have been short lived.

Admiral Thad W. Allen to Join RAND as Senior Fellow

Adm. Thad W. Allen announced today that after completing his service as national incident commander of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, he will join the RAND Corporation as a senior fellow, effective Oct. 4.

“Thad Allen has served the U.S. government and U.S. Coast Guard with great distinction,” said RAND President and CEO James A. Thomson. “We are delighted he will continue to take on the most difficult policy challenges as a RAND senior fellow. His experience and expertise will be apparent in our research and analysis on an array of homeland security, environmental and national security challenges.”

Allen was scheduled to join RAND in May 2010, shortly after he retired as commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard. But his transition was delayed when he was asked by President Obama to manage the oil spill emergency response and clean-up, for which his leadership has been widely praised.

His work at RAND initially will be concentrated in the RAND Homeland Security and Defense Center, a joint center of the RAND National Security Research Division and RAND Infrastructure, Safety, and Environment. The center conducts analysis to prepare and protect communities and critical infrastructure from natural disasters and terrorism. Center projects examine a wide range of risk management problems including coastal and border security, emergency preparedness and response, defense support to civil authorities, transportation security, domestic intelligence programs, technology acquisition and related topics.

Comment on False Web Postings Regarding RAND Work on China

October 4, 2010

Several online postings containing false information regarding RAND Corporation research have appeared on various websites and blogs produced in China. With titles such as "China will become the poorest country in the world in 2020" and "RAND Corporation's evaluation of Chinese people," the online postings contain extremely negative comments about the Chinese people, and attribute those to RAND. RAND has never published the comments or reports cited in the online postings. The online postings do not represent the views of RAND scholars. Portions of these online postings appear to misquote testimony by a RAND associate given in 2005. That testimony is available in full, in both English and Chinese

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill has created important health challenge for the entire Gulf region, specifically for the families most affected by the impact on their livelihoods and daily routines. In order to restore families and communities to healthy conditions, it is critical to use the tools of objective analysis to adequately identify and respond to community needs. This analysis can also ensure that resources are appropriately allocated for efficient and effective recovery. RAND's Public Health Systems and Preparedness (PHSP) initiative been doing work on these types of issues for many years and has a body of work which is relevant and applicable to the current situation in the Gulf.

Intelligence Policy Center

Intelligence agencies are changing in significant ways. Effective management of these agencies requires not only a complex set of tradeoffs and links among requirements, resources, and capabilities, but also a willingness to accept risk and technological innovation.

Improving Intelligence Analysis and Information Integration
What new approaches to intelligence will enable DoD to counter these threats? What new approaches to intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination will prove the most promising? What is the optimal way to provide and portray intelligence information to DoD decisionmakers?

Taking a step back.... what does it say about US, in the manner in which we post?

Some always look for the next rabbit hole, and the one in that, and the one in that etc

Some fly off the handle, and point fingers, only to be undone by the detail
(that they have not bothered to research for themselves)

Some make jokes, to hide their nervousness and anguish of the situation

Some make bold statements, and then dissappear

Some wont budge, no matter how much proof is placed before them.

Some keep marching on, and despite the flaming tar balls, arrows, explosive canisters and BS flags,
keep marching as close to that original path as they can.

How many posts does it take to be 'labelled', and then used by others, subtly, to guide a situation or outcome?

I am convinced there is trouble with the wellhead! From an eyewitness

I wish I knew! I saw Sirius yesterday, but it's gone today. A feed was on from Sirius for about 15 minutes, and they went down 200 feet or so (and it was very turbulent with stuff flying and pushing the ROV around like crazy)....they pulled up a buoy from some kind of floating structure and went back up fast and the feed cut off. When I went to the Marine Traffic site and typed in Chouest Holiday, it says no results. Don't know if it's true, but some people on the internet were talking about something happenening with Chouest Holiday, the feed went down, and nothing since. It's been almost 3 days....nothing on the marine maps except Sirius from time to time.....the last feed I saw looked really bad, with oil blobs and methane....they are there, you can bet, because something is going on......they just aren't showing it. They are doing all kinds of work down there with suction piles etc.....and why do they need drilling rigs there now? Did you read this? www.no_link... ther is a lot about it on the other thread....be sure to click on the link in BK Lim's post....VERY interesting!
 Quoting: childoflight

Thanks Childoflight, The theroy in the Bermuda Triangle
is that methane is the root cause of mysterious sinkings
of ships, However it doesn't explain the aircraft and
anomalies of the compass which would have to be magnetic.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Psychological Operations by Another Name Are Sweeter

The Department of Defense has decided to change the name of military psychological operations (PSYOP) and this is a good thing
..
While the U.S. military has never had mind control lasers, current PSYOP doctrine does allow for the possibility of products and messages that are not wholly true, or are made to appear as if they were written or published by someone else.
Public and congressional support for PSYOP has lagged because of the incorrect assumption that these operations are inherently insidious. Changing the name from the menacing "psychological operations" to the more benign "military information support operations," with the friendlier acronym MISO, should go some ways toward fixing the problem.

The solution is simple. To protect military information support operations from developing the same sort of taint that psychological operations now have, they should be made unambiguously truthful. PSYOP (now MISO) doctrine should be rewritten to ban misleading or false content or disseminating messages with false attribution.
..
Of course, there may still be times when the Department of Defense wants and needs to mislead or manipulate an enemy. Most of these will be tactical and short-term needs, and either directly protect the lives of U.S. forces or trick adversaries into exposing themselves to harm, or both. To preserve U.S. credibility in those cases where "black" tools are necessary, they should be separated completely from military information support so that MISO is never touched by the taint of falsehood.
