Anonymous Coward User ID: 979403 Sweden 06/26/2010 07:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Swedish coastguard here, we have KBV-001 ( [link to www.kbv.se] )Posseidon stationed in the gulf to help out with the oilspill since it´s a boat built to deal with spills. Anyway we just had a chat with the commander and there is a sub with problems, also there is some confusion about it´s situatation. KBV-001 has been dispatched to assist the submarine. Thats all the info we got at this time. Not whats happned to the boat, what contry it´s flagged and what status of the vessel. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1011293Nice try. [link to www.marinetraffic.com] Has the Poseidon KBV-001 docked Goteborg, Sweden. my friend i think we know where our vessels are stationed. Your terrific site also shows boats traveling the I-95 in west palm beach... just because you see the internet dosent mean its true. Go to wpb florida, zoom in... i just did it myself and laughed. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 849651 United States 06/26/2010 07:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I once heard, that submarines get magnetized, due to the friction with the water. After some time, the whole submarine acts as a big magnet. This can be detected. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1016530Therefore, the submarine has to demagnetize itself constantly. A submarine can not demagnetize itself. They have special dock facilities for this purpose, and at least in the past submarine tenders had the equipment too. |

Instead of using a bomb and having to answer to the international community about using a warhead, they just sink a nuclear reactor and wait for it to become unstable and then blow???? That information is from another thread---This OP never said anything about being sunk at 2 KM depth. There are summarys of everything this OP said...just look for them. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1016412 United States 06/26/2010 07:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's the lost city of Atlantis they found. Major countries are trying to retrieve secrets of the city. The oil spill is just a cover up. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1012439FINALLY WE GET TO WHY THEY ARE REALLY GATHERED AROUND THE GULF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously????????!!!!!! Take your idiotic fantasies about mythical places to a fiction board please, Real news needs attention not the idiotic drivel of some delusional moron. If you still think Atlantis is a myth, read some Plato. There is so much truth we are taught to ridicule. Let's also consider that there is a BP rig situation right in the target zone named Atlantis... [link to www.offshore-technology.com] Considered one of BP's most technically challenging projects ever, the Atlantis platform is currently the deepest moored floating dual oil and gas production facility in the world and weighing in at 58,700t, it is also one of the largest. BP is operator of Atlantis with 56% ownership with its partner in the venture, BHP Billiton, having a 44% working interest. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 849651 United States 06/26/2010 08:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | collecting samples, hhrm the plot thickens... Quoting: minimeister 971641Keep in mind that not only does the Emeraude have an advanced sensor array but they would also need some way to retrieve the black box once they find it. What kind of equipment would you need for a job like that? Could it be used to retrieve more than flight data recorders? Surely it's equipped with advanced equipment of all types. I would not be surprised if this sub was also capable of tapping telecom cables. |
