Ummm.. OP has made another post. Posted 6/30 at 1:11AM under the name of Ozicell. His post links to a youtube vid on gas and oil drill 'fracturing' which is what is done prior to pumping oil/gas to surface to allow the oil/gas to migrate. I had heard that Deepwater Horizon had never been 'fractured'.

Thread: Don't light a match near your water faucet

Lets presume that OP posted that new thread not by acident ...

Some googling gave me this :
"Many offshore completions utilize "frac packing" as a preferred method to complete the soft formations found in the Gulf of Mexico. " [link to www.onepetro.org]

So, ... there has been "FRACKED" in the GOM !
Maybe not directly near the spill-site (wich could be a distraction as mentioned before).

What IF that french sub found evidence of this "frac packing"... Something that was illegal or I dont know (yet).

What IF the ruptures in the seabedding are the result/consequence of "fracking" methods ?
....

something tells me this is important too :
Wyoming Commission approves hydraulic fracturing rules
[link to www.lexology.com]

"Under the rules, approved June 8, 2010, drilling companies must provide the names of chemical additives, compounds and concentrations or rates proposed to be mixed and injected as part of the hydraulic fracturing process."
"EPA announced in March 2010 that it is conducting a comprehensive study to investigate the potential adverse effects of fracking on water quality and public health. "

What do you guys think ?

Yes it is interesting. I had heard previously a week or two ago from a rig worker (think it was a video) who was saying that the Deepwater Horizon never was 'fractured' that it didn't get to that stage because it was never intended to. Just what I heard.. who knows.
