On the biomass issue...
Working on the links (stupid IE froze while I had about 6 tabs open!!) for the study (funded by MMS) that showed in the deap sea area around hydrogen sulfide outpoints is BILLIONS OF TONS of biomass. The oil well looks exactly like a hydrothermal black smoker which is where the largest biomass amount is created. This study was performed in the Mississippi Canyon, where Deepwater Horizon is located.

I thought that also was about the relaese of prehistorical substances. And what about those billions of tons of biomass ? .. that could be used for : ??? ... (the algae-industry or somrthing else? )
