Apparently Mr. Marshall is very upset that his invention is being used in this "crap theory" that someone said (I guess I should have just thought of this earlier because someone put this theory out there and posted it on the website that Mr. Marshall vents on.


I am Bruce Marshall, inventor and patent holder of the Marshall Hydrothermal Recovery System, www.marshallsystem.com. I have a Google Alert set up to direct me to articles, discussions, and postings about my system that I would otherwise be unaware of, and I was directed here as well as to yesterday's posting which generated the response you cited.

I was and am offended to be dragged, as I said in my earlier response, into someone else's fantasy. There is absolutely NOTHING, no sound science, no evidence, NOTHING that can be pointed to that would lead to a considered conclusion that this is a hydrothermal vent in the Gulf of Mexico, and that somehow BP is intentionally injecting oil (from where?) into the Gulf to cover this find up. Only an irrational and illogical thought train can carry someone to that destination, and it's a ride I don't want to go on.

That's not to say that conspiracies don't exist. I've been a student of the JFK assassination for decades, and I'm absolutely convinced not only that LHO didn't shoot him, but that he was completely innocent of shooting anyone, but there are a myriad of sound and irrefutable reasons by which one can come to that conclusion. I also know the WTC towers and WTC7 did not fall on their own, but again, that's based on undeniable scientific evidence, not some wild-ass theory without substantiation.

There is a huge difference between being shown thermate residue in the WTC dust and someone just mouthing off in an anonymous email suggesting that the worst ecological disaster in human history is a coverup because those at BP or in government want to hide a naturally-occurring hydrothermal vent from the public.

By the way, thanks to the poster in this forum who mentioned the peswiki article about the Marshall Hydrothermal Recovery System. I don't have a problem with being mentioned on this or any other site. I do have a problem with being linked to something ridiculous.
