Holy Hell!! It's true!!

Click on this link [link to www.weather.gov] and then click on North America, you get a page that says 'This page is not accessible for security reasons'.

I don't use this often, but WTF???

Come on and think for a moment. On [link to www.weather.gov] you are on the All Regions page. This is a web designers mistake NOT a conspiracy. All you have to do is click on the Caribbean Sea link and you get the page you are looking for. Sorry to rain on your Doom Parade.

My girl friend has a D.E.D link on her laptop from the French Embassy. (She works at the embassy)

Crazy traffic on DED

How many of you even bothered to Google D.E.D. link, or even know what DED stands for???

Most of the people on GLP are very gullible.

70 .  “Grandfather” [Ded] (cover name in Vassiliev’s notebooks): USSR Consul Genenal in New York or the USSR’s ambassador.  “Grandfather” was identified in the Venona decryptions as the Soviet Consul General in New York and also as possibly the USSR’s ambassador. At places in Alexander Vassiliev’s notebooks, “Grandfather” is clearly designated as the Soviet consul general in New York, but other occurrences place “Grandfather” at the embassy in Washington, suggesting the ambassador.

Don't know whether or not it means anything but I thought it was interesting!!!!One can also buy DED Backpacks ehich are SOLD OUT!!!!

What if you were an Asian nation holding a sizable portion of another Country's debt with certificates backed by gold. A sudden devaluation of gold would destroy your economy.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1025890

Gold is not the issue - it is a red herring. Misdirection. The issue is - worst case - grey goo. Please, people, get a grip and stick to the main dilemma. As the fat that binds cells to one another, thereby creating a functional organism, is dissolved - whether by Corexit or air or water-borne oil-eating microbes of whatever origin - human beings will die, along with other life forms. This is in addition to breathing the gases being released into the atmosphere.

I don't want to rain on anyone's 4th parade. I am having fun observing the gullibility of people. It's hard to resist though: the OP is posting straight out of Arthur C. Clark stories. Science-fiction hello? The Man who Ploughed the Sea?

Does no one read anymore? Even the language is the same. You guys didn't think this was real did you?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1007080

Apparently no one even bothered to Google d.e.d link (which was a critical component of the OP) or to stop and think for a moment that the location of submarines is a National Security Issue for every country with subs. Does anyone really think that a girl in an embassy would have knowledge of the locations of the submarines of the world? Or if she did that she would be allowed to tell her boyfriend?

The gullibility of people never ceases to amaze me.

TPTB are surely monitoring GLP and it is apparent that the majority of the people on GLP are easily led.

Krispy, that's not the point and you know it. The point is a cover story so that when key words are ooooogled someone will find this and think, "Oh, that's what they are talking about, they just got their story mixed up on the facts."

Looks like a cover story to me for US damage to a French ship involving a submarine. No other real reason to put up an old issue, is there?

A morphing organism, whether alien or synthetic, now reproducing out of control, seems to me to be the primary issue. It sounded, in OP's speculations, as if the gold phase was only that - a phase. It is apparently anaerobic and feeds off of petroleum/carbon-based materials, including dead animals, oil, algaes, etc. - not to mention other life forms such as sailors on subs.

Listen to the video by the PhD biologist on this thread:
Thread: Updated! Project Gulf Impact: Gulf Oil Spill Science Experiment On All Says Biologist + Gulf Shores, Al. Report 7-4-10
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1022186

Havent watched the vid jet ...
but wanted to add that it seems to be radioactive as well, coz OP mentioned that it became "unstable" in just a few hours.
It did not FEED on the sailors, I believe they went sick due to certain circomstances (maybe radiation)

I think the TPTB are shitting the bed seeing how much people are thinking on this thread. Yes, there has been some real stretches on this thread but the vast majority of posters have brought some incredible thought and ideas to the table. I, for one, have enjoyed reading the posts and the links provided. I will judge for myself what i believe to be true or false. Do you have anything thought provoking to say about what is happening with the oil disaster in the GOM, if so i would like to here that instead of calling people names.

Or Oops, you're right, I guess it might be silly to have Tsunami warnings for mainland North America or Canada.
