just listened to a you tube about the water off NOrleans...up above someone posted that poly glycol is between 1%-5% of corexit...and right now, the water that was tested, p.glycol alone is at 430ppm....where 25ppm is considered toxic to fish...and that is just ONE of the ingredients in corexit...can you imagine just how toxic that water in the gulf is considering that the one ingredient is that much over and above toxic levels?...

A way to save the entire thread is to use an offline browser program, like Win HTTRACK and for the url put in the message, set it up to download from the message directory. I haven't tried it but it would probably work.

One more thing. The corexit would cause a dispersal of the oil from large clups.

As it is mildly radioactive, It may be even more so in a acreted mass. The rad level would be much less if the material is dispersed. Probably close to regular background levels and (ralatively) safe to be in the environment

I remember watching a show, some months back, where they were showing methane hydrates in cube form, a type of jelly, burning basically with water saturating it. They stated and I quote "this can be harvested right off the sea floor in slabs" So I assume it rather viscous.

the Gulf is warmer than it should be and the sea floor gravely comprimised!Methane is trying to get out!At depths it forms clathrates which are the wispy thing you see floating around!There are more of them now and they are bigger!When it gets warm enough they will change phase and HUGE amounts of methane will be released!I imagine that the heat wave in the USA will help heat the GOM some more!The BOP is becoming unstable and before you know it AWHALE will find itsself at the bottom of the Gulf!I will leave the rest to your imagination!!!!
