Don't know a lot 'bout the first questions, but about martial law, I'll tell you how it is here. tptb ain't got enough dressed-in-black, jack-booted, riot-helmeted thugs to control the entire US population of close to 300 million. If NATO has enough man-power to set up martial control in the US, they'd better be good and that will be very difficult in a country which has an extremely diverse population such as ours. What I'm saying, what works in one area will not work in another.

For years now, we've lived with infiltrators among us looking for militias and other population which could prove difficult for the powers. The infiltrators can't find the Lone Rangers and there are a lot of them. It’s bad enough around home that the lawyers will have to go into hiding. Talk in public is that the lawyers will be the first to go down. In other words, the communities will start to clean themselves of the vermin poaching off the backs of the “small people” and “martial law” enforcement won’t know what’s going on.

A lot of inner-cities are controlled by gangs with different strokes for different folks. The g’ment keeps a handle on the gangs, but I sincerely don’t think they can control them all, all at once.

Local LE is likely the weakest link. These guys live here in the communities and they tell that if the SHTF, they are headed out to get their kids and are going to the house, plus they have guns and boolits at home, not like the UK bobbies who only carry a noggin’ knocker.

Martial law in one part of the county, “Yes” the g’ment can handle that. I just don’t see it happening country-wide, .... until China or India invades militarily. India is the country most likely able to implement martial law because they have integrated people into our society much more so than the Chinese and the East Indians are prolly able to control our systems from within.
