There is a temple (ruins) in Egypt's desert which is reported to have been a destination for the worthy (Pharaohs, etc.) seeking enlightenment. Alexander the Great is reported to have gone there. Some write that with the combination of salt in the sand together with certain local earth magnetics and being anointed with oil, you can get there (from here.) .....
