Yes, however, SSBN's can hover..they hover for missile ops
 Quoting: RenegadeSon

They do hover for missile ops, but not for prolonged periods. Its very difficult to maintain a hover position because you have to control the boat with ballast alone and you need a shit hot "Dive" (diving chief) to be able to maintain a hovering position for very long. Its not standard practice, is situational, and very hard to maintain for prolonged periods.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
about 15 minutes ago . 2us captain reported that israeli submarine went below operational depth without catastrophic failure and was descending to entrance. Captain requesting further instructions. Standby 30 minutes

i posted it a while back

map showing the underground aquatic connection between the gom and the north pole

please, can you post it again ?

from pg139

i think i just connected the dots between the GOM and the Arctic (discussed here previously)

THE TWO ARE CONNECTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[link to www.auburn.edu]

.....However, apparent connection between Steen River impact crater and a lesser mass extinction is somewhat surprising. Perhaps environmental effects from Steen River were keenly felt because it was an impact in the midst of the just-formed Western Interior Seaway, a vast epicontinental sea connecting the Gulf of Mexico and Arctic Ocean.......

I have a feeling that this Israeli sub is NOT a Diesel Sub!

In Fact it is known that they have taken ANY weapon they have ever bought and enhanced it to be better. When the US first sold them the F-16 they took the plane apart and completely rebuilt it to fly better than the US planes.

I have a feeling that this sub is something NEVER seen before.

I was on an SSBN and we used to hover all of the time..it seems we were always drilling and spinning up missiles. We could hover for a long time, if required.

Sampson alert?

Remember, this was the dude that pulled down the whole building on the Philistines, killing all within including himself.

So...the Israeli sub is on a suicide mission? Or one of mass destruction of everything around it???

NAVY CHRISTENS NEW GUIDED-MISSILE DESTROYER SAMPSON
Sea Classics, Dec 2006 by Duprey, Susan

The latest Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, Sampson (DDG-102), was christened 16 September during a colorful ceremony at Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine.

The ship is named in honor of R/Adm. William Thomas Sampson (1840-1902), a Naval hero in the Spanish-American War. After graduating first in his class at the US Naval Academy in 1861, Sampson served in the Civil War, during which he survived a mine explosion in 1865. When the United States declared war against Spain following the sinking of the battleship Maine, Sampson assumed command of the US North Atlantic Squadron with the rank of Rear Admiral. Sailing from Key West, Florida, in 1898, aboard USS New York (CA-2), his squadron established a blockade on the Spanish Fleet in the harbor of Santiago, Cuba When the Spanish fleet attempted escape, it was completely destroyed by Sampson's forces in a running sea battle that lasted five hours. The next day, Sampson sent the now famous message: "The Fleet under my command offers the nation as a Fourth of July present, the whole of Cervera's Fleet!"

Sampson retired as commandant of the Boston Navy Yard in 1902. Three previous ships have carried this name: Torpedo-boat destroyer 63, Somers-class destroyer 394 and Charles F. Adams-class guided-missile destroyer 10.

Senator Susan Collins of Maine delivered the ceremony's principal address. Clara Parsons, great granddaughter of Sampson, served as ship's sponsor. In the time-honored Navy tradition, she broke a bottle of champagne across the bow to formally christen the ship USS Sampson.

Designated DDG-102, Sampson is the 52nd of 62 Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. This highly capable multimission ship can conduct a variety of operations, from peacetime presence and crisis management to sea control and power projection, in support of the national military strategy. Sampson will be capable of fighting air, surface, and subsurface battles simultaneously. The ship contains myriad offensive and defensive weapons designed to support maritime defense needs well into the 21st century.

Commander Philip Roos, born in Leiderdorp, the Netherlands, became the ship's first commanding officer to lead a crew of approximately 292 men and women. The 9200-ton Sampson was built by Bath Iron Works, a General Dynamics company, and is 509.5-ft in length, has a waterline beam of 59-ft, and a navigational draft of 32-ft. Four gas turbine engines will power the ship to speeds in excess of 30-kts.

NIE = National intelligence estimates

National Intelligence Estimate: The Terrorist Threat to the US Homeland
[link to www.globalsecurity.org]
"The Estimate, Terrorist Threats to the US Homeland, followed the standard process for producing National Intelligence Estimates (NIEs), including a thorough review of sourcing, in-depth Community coordination, the use of alternative analysis, and review by outside experts. Starting in October 2006, the NIC organized a series of roundtables with IC experts to scope out terms of reference (TOR) for the Estimate. Drafters from throughout the Community contributed to the draft. In May, a draft was submitted to IC officers in advance of a series of coordination meetings that spanned several days. The National Clandestine Service, FBI, and other IC collection officers reviewed the text for the reliability and proper use of the sourcing. As part of the normal coordination process, analysts had the opportunity--and were encouraged--to register “dissents” and provide alternative analysis. Reactions by the two outside experts who read the final product were highlighted in the text. The National Intelligence Board, composed of the heads of the 16 IC agencies and chaired by the ODNI, reviewed and approved the Estimate on 21 June. As with other NIEs, it is being distributed to senior Administration officials and Members of Congress."

Can somebody confirm this for me. I've been in and out on this thread. Sorry for the question but I'm trying to get a better idea of this situation.

Is there some type of tunnel under the GOM in an area around the rim?

Thanks

We must remember something here...that our relations with Israel at this time are strained, and perhaps at the lowest they've ever been..They have bragged in the past about how they own us, and that we only do what they want...I mean, if they caused something untoward in the Gulf...it would most definitely get our undivided attention, wouldn't it??...just throwing it out there...and it's only some thoughts I've been having since hearing that there were Israeli subs in the Gulf..

about 15 minutes ago . 2us captain reported that israeli submarine went below operational depth without catastrophic failure and was descending to entrance. Captain requesting further instructions. Standby 30 minutes

girlfriend is going of duty, , i glimpsed at a few post and want to Remind you to please follow my post in context between noise. I remind you that the classification of the Israeli submarine is above DED. it is not an "ordinary" submarine. remember when it appeared a twilight alert was issued on strategic assets. this is vector type intelligence which i cant read. good night all.

Thanks for clarifying OP.

Clarifying what?

This was funny for a while but it's long past the point of being utterly stupid. This character has been stringing you guys along for three weeks now.

There's some very disturbing things happening in the gulf but this fake French Oogie Boogie with you guys throwing everything you can Google into the mix isn't doing anything but adding NOISE to the subject.

i posted it a while back

Yes I know ...
But why do you think the Israeli sub would want to use that tunnel ???
with what purpose ?
Not to go to the northpole ...

Sampson alert?

Remember, this was the dude that pulled down the whole building on the Philistines, killing all within including himself.

So...the Israeli sub is on a suicide mission? Or one of mass destruction of everything around it???
 Quoting: Doomamatrix

-Karu 2:10 PM Remember the Sampson Option? [link to en.wikipedia.org]
"The Samson Option is a term used to describe Israel’s alleged deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a “last resort” against nations whose military attacks threaten its existence, and possibly against other targets as well."

-AC Greece 1:42 PM "central command confirms Mistral analysis and issuing dedicated SAMPSON classification on new israeli submarine. DED going crazy again. BEZERK level 2" .... its a russina akula class? [link to www.naval-technology.com]
The Akula Class carry up to 12 Granit submarine-launched cruise missiles. The missiles are fired from the 533mm torpedo launch tubes. Granit (Nato designation: SS-N-21 Sampson) has a range of about 3,000km and delivers a 200kt warhead.

-AC US 5:15 PM OMG. > Israeli mistake. Ill winds. Nuking something with unintended and unexpected consequences. In the bot reports there are many crossover links between the gulf and the Israeli mistake. Clif has been trying to figure out why because, as he figured, there was no scenario that would allow for to be nuking the gulf so the links did not make sense.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
One more thing about Sampson in connection with an Israeli sub:

Sampson was the strongest of the Israelites in the Old Test.
His strength was via his hair which was long and full. In the bible, Daliah tricks Sampson, cuts off his hair and renders him powerless.

He was taken captive by the Philistines who put out his eyes and abused him greatly. One day, the King was feasting and ordered the once mighty Sampson brought before him so that all could make fun of him.
Sampson had the last laugh as his hair had grown back and with it, his strength returned. Standing between two pillars of the hall, he pushed and brought the place down on everyone killing all.

To me, a Sampson alert would mean a mission in which one would die but not before they took out of lot of the enemy.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

 Quoting: Richard Sweats 1038344

OP said that this one was VERY VERY NEW !

Good day, I cant keep up posting all the new DED traffic as it will cause to much suspicion when I change rooms so much. it all happened 40 minutes ago when a new Israeli submarine showed on DED assets indicator, 68 nautical miles from rim, 11 miles from where 2us destroyed capsule. halted. there are now two israeli subs. the new one is very very new. its classification is above DED. Mistral indicating a possible hostile classification on Israeli submarine

EDIT bolding,

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
I think the Israeli sub started this deepwater horizon issue, I dont know why yet.

The Israeli's believed their sub would be undetectable but the other subs French Russian & Chinese & possibly US have worked out what has occured.

They are chasing the Israeli sub which is able to go deeper, faster & quiter than the others, it may be using undersea canyons for evasion. It may have help from sources in the US who organized this Deepwater event for dubious reasons.
Sounds like the US Navy smell a rat & want to take charge, with friendly assistance from outside the US.

Or maybe this is all just a training exercise which we are being relayed, our OP is not aware & it's all just a simulation to do with the recently announced war games exercises.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
the Israeli's have technology even we don't have...

I can guarantee you that the U.S. and Russia lead the world in the most technilogically advanced submarines. The U.S. was number 1 until Russia was able to create equivilant noise cancelling capabilities that the U.S. had prior-to for many years. I would suspect that Russia, and U.S. have equivelant submarine capabilities at this time. Unless Israel had some super secret squirrel submarine that no one knew about, diesel subs have much more severe limitations than nuclear powered submarines. Nuclear powered subs can technically operate forever underwater until their rods are completely diminished. Diesel subs have to come up to the surface to run their diesel generators to recharge their batteries so they can operate underwater....they cannot run a diesel underwater because it doesn't create enough pressure to overcome sea-pressure and would sink the submarine so they have to come up to periscope depth to raise their snorkel mast to allow the diesel to run to charge their batteries. Diesel submarines run off of battery power underwater. They cannot stay underwater for prolonged periods. Also they are much smaller than nuclear submarines and therfore have less space for food so they can only last as long as they still have food on the boat...but they also need to be refeuled as well. There is no way one of these subs could have made it across the Atlantic and still be operating unless it was refeuled at some point...and will also need to be refueld again at some point.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1030629

The Israeli's don't let the world know much about what they have...for instance, there nuclear arsenal.

One more thing:

No, Oct. 1st is not a ritual day BUT, that whole month is a lead up to their high holiest of days, Nov. 1st.

Follow this link to a very interesting site that outlines a chart on the days, meanings and activities of the ones who worship the god with the little g.
