Just a guess. We posted early in this thread wondering if OP was German Guy. After 9 and 11, and after the '04 tsunami, it was French reporting that gave us in the US real data in real time. We got nothing in the US more than "official accounts" of events and the very first eye-witness reports of both 9 and 11 and the tsunami. The most popular French site for the tsunami data gathering and reporting insisted that satellites had been diverted from their usual orbiting path so that the satellites were crossing the Indian Ocean at the time of the tsunami. An eye-in-the sky, so to speak. I mentioned this so that if anyone reading has the ability to determine if satellite orbiting is suddenly changed, please let us know. During the tsunami, two satellites had their usual orbit changed so that they criss-crossed over the Indian Ocean. |

Working families with children should have basic minimum ability to leave .... now! School does not start until later in August. Get children out now! Do something to leave until about the end of August and this immediate crises is over. The minimum distance is 101 miles away from the Coast to get out of the "Constitution Free Zone" which can leave you with no way to argue your Constitutional rights. Go as far as necessary to get to higher land, a minimum of 300-500 feet above sea level (still may not be high enough) and stay away from river basins. fwiw, look at the map: [link to en.wikipedia.org] The great 1886 earthquake in Charleston SC, pushed high water all the way up into the mountains of the North and South Carolina border. The Savannah River Basin between Georgia and South Carolina stayed flooded with high water for a week to ten days according to stories from the ol' timers. Cattle in high country were left stranded on knolls with water swirling around them. Barns were flooded and covered with water in the Northern part of the state. We're about 300 miles, or a five-hour drive North from Charleston. Please, any of you who live near a river or creek where the waters flow into the Gulf, look at the map at the link. The dividing line between Georgia and South Carolina is the Savannah River. At the time of the 1886 earthquake in Charleston, which is pretty much at sea level, high water pushed all the way up into the northern part of these two states where river areas in excess of 1,000 feet above seal level were inundated with water up to ten feet deep in higher places. This water displacement was sudden. We don't have official accounts, just stories handed down through the families who lived in the northern part of these states. Please consider getting away from the coast and going to high ground if you are near any kind of water in the Southeast USA which runs into the Gulf - at least through August. This is a crisis! The water that pushes up is full of sewage, dead animals, chemicals and carries pestilence and disease. |
