Here is a short explanation of relevance for the Crescent on the SC state flag. SC was the initial secceeding state in the War Between the States in the US which started in 1864. Southerners still hold resentment toward the North for humiliation and very hard times suffered at the hand of "damn Yankees." After all, the Southern states did participate in the action which resulted in the Revolutionary War separating the colonies from direct control of England.

"... elements that compose the current flag were seen as far back as 1765, when opponents of the ‘Stamp Act’ marched in protest behind a blue flag bearing three white crescents.

The Stamp Act of 1765 was the fourth Stamp Act to be passed by the Parliament of Great Britain and required all legal documents, permits, commercial contracts, newspapers, wills, pamphlets, and playing cards in the American colonies to carry a tax stamp. The Act was enacted in order to defray the cost of maintaining the military presence protecting the colonies. The Act passed unanimously on March 22, 1765, and went into effect later that year on November 1, 1765. It met with great resistance in the colonies and was never effectively enforced. Colonists threatened tax collectors with tarring and feathering, a very painful process. Few collectors were willing to risk their well-being to uphold the tax. The Act was repealed on March 18, 1766. This incident increased the colonists’ concerns about the intent of the British Parliament and added fuel to the growing separatist movement that later resulted in the American Revolution."

The crescent on the caps of the uniformed Southern military was a throwback to the days of warrior knights and armor.

"...parts of the military uniforms from the Revolutionary period. While I am no expert in this area of study, I do have some information that may be of use to Branch members
hence I intend to write a series of articles on this topic. The first for this edition is the “GORGET” which is the small silver crescent shaped device worn by officers during the period. This device is essentially a symbol of status or authority. It was a throwback to the days of Knights where it was a collar generally made of steel or leather ..."

We had a train to New Orleans called the "Southern Crescent."

"the Southern Crescent is an endangered species. The aging Crescent is the nation's last lavish, privately run, long-haul passenger train. But its owner, the highly profitable and efficient Southern Railway System, claims to have lost $6.7 million last year on the Crescent's Washington-New Orleans run."

Maybe, just may be that when OP said "....Crescent Moon is on DED (serious issue)" this was a reference to a state.

Good day, my girlfriend just phoned from her office to tell me Crescent Moon is on DED (serious issue)
I will meet her at office after after duty.

Ahhh, now I see the game. The OP presents a riddle and everyone tries to decode what he means, spending weeks at it. In the end, he never tells whether anyone guessed right, and jumps to a new riddle. Everyone jumps right on board to spend their time at this rather than doing something constructive. I still believe he might have passed some legitimate info from some French ships, although he has refused to assure us that it wasn't a scam. Whatever OP means by "Crescent Moon" would be so easy to tell us, so why make it so mysterious? After a few weeks of guessing, he still won't tell what he meant, and everyone will take off on a new chase. Never having participated in a blog before, I am puzzled that anyone might find this fun. And never an answer to confirm if you guessed right!!! Even crossword puzzles have a satisfying end. With OP's credibility will go the intelligent and capable participants. He can confirm his credibility or stew in his own juices. 'ts up to him.

Sometimes people don't need "satisfying end" to stay entertained. Perhaps it's the sheer *act* of deciphering that gives them their satisfaction, not the results.

Sort of like how a child colors in a coloring book. She paints the grass blue, and the sun green and scribbles outside the lines. The results aren't why she's participating in the act, it's the act itself that's satisfying, and who are we to judge what other's do with their free time, honestly.

Yes I saw that too,
but why would the south carolina Crescent moon be a serious issue ?

Already posted a link the "SC Attorney" thread from last year which happened at the time of the UK (The Telegraph) Blackjack thread and the disappearance of the state governor during that week.

Also, the earlier link on this thread showing the Russian military assets on a drill offloading vehicles.

There are some ideas which are undocumented and therefore, should not be posted.

Between these links and the stuff posted on this thread, then a reasonable person could think that the Crescent involves a state.

The Huguenot French settled Charleston. The Merovingian French settled in North Carolina. It was Merovingian money which paid the cost of the US government resettlement of Cherokee Indians from the Carolina mountains out to Oklahoma. The French also settled the New Orleans area. the pirates of olden days controlled the waters off the Eastern seaboard of the US. These pirates are rumored to have descended from those who escaped the 1307 arrest and killing of many of the Knights Templar by the Catholic Church and the King of France, who had become beholden to the Church.

We have an OP claiming to report French DED naval info.

If we combine this with documented history of the English Isles, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Austria, then we start to get a picture of where "factions" arose.

Looking to me like it is coming down "whip ass" time again, and those who have been sitting on the sidelines are being forced to choose between one side or the other. Likely, the Jews and Muslims are a side issue to the age old feud between the Catholic Church and the Pro-testants.

Most US Americans are bewildered by this because our history books never really explained the issue. All this sounds rather dramatic, but is is true background for what is being played out right now in the Southeast USA and other places around the world May not be the real reason for the saber rattling, but ya gotta wonder.

Thank you, Brian; I kind of regret my criticism. I guess I feel embarrassed that I mistakenly granted the OP a credibility which he refuses to confirm. And I agree that those who find satisfaction in decoding stuff that might not even in code are not to be criticized, for they are, after all, enjoying a mental exercise which already ranks them above the mundane. My criticism was unkind, and I regret it. May each person feel free to pursue happiness on whatever path he or she chooses.

Those of you with reading comprehension skills will pick up that the Times is derogatorily referring to the Southern Crescent as an endangered species. The article was published in 1978, but the fracas with the US South has been going on for much longer. If you read the article, you now know that New Orleans is called the "Crescent City."

I see we've brought out the BSers with their own flag so we must have hit a tender spot.

I personally have not yet gotten over the several media articles on the Gulf spill which blatantly come out and say that "Southern rednecks should be be allowed to eat lobster, crab and shrimp for free." They forgot to mention oysters.

I'm beginning to think that the Brits and Banksters believed we lived in the swamps with the alligators, snakes and crocodiles. When they started drilling the Gulf they found out we were eating pretty good.

well, I am still interested in what OP has to say

and BTW, Miss Krispy (along with many others) has done a fine job of finding information and helping those of us without time to chase these rabbits to see some connections we would not have made otherwise

don't know what set you kids off, but I sure hope you got it outta your systems because if you would do some reading, I think you might be amazed at what some of the things our brainiacs are coming up with are being used for

and just remember, the guys 'n gals with the Brains are NOT the ones actually directing the Use of this technology

oh yeah, and all this information was generated by OPee's posts

Hey Peepz,
Thank you for all the kind words !!!

Yes its great to be here with so many different skilled and minded people and working on a joint-mission to get some truth out that otherwise wouldnt have seen any light. Even if some things are not the actual truth and we shed some light on some incredible theories, it is okay.
We must keep an open mind at all times, that is the only way to incorporate matter and not get stunned and blown away by news you will hear some day on a radio or TV.

Imo, these days are like the days prior to the WW's I and II ... The global people are still living in their magical bubble of their dayly lives without knowing what is out there in the night... waiting ... they dont hear the drums of tension between fractions and nations, and that the gloom of the morning could bring a differnt world.
Maybe this all is going to settle and will be burried under dust of never seeing the brod daylight at all ... accept for a handfull of people who know that history book mank information about what took place out of sight.
Out of sight does not mean that it did not happen ! Out of sight does not mean it was not real ! ...
I know that there are many sheeples that do think what doesnt know doesnt hurt or doesnt exist .... > But then : Who is fooling who ???

I am thankfull and proud of what we all did here !!!! Even if it is never going to be on national news!

Krispy, you are the one that brings it together on this thread. hf

As far as how accurate our deductions may be, time will tell. One has only to look at the Wikileaks papers going around the globe to see that there is a lot that is not reported in the media. I go to European news sources to get a different perspective on world events but they still don't give a complete picture. Only by figuring it out ourselves can we get a more full picture of what is happening in the world.
Good job guys and gals.

Now on to the Crescent thing.

Open the following link on Satellite view and zoom into the GOM. See all those large, flat-topped mesas just east of the delta, where the DWH well is situated, smack dab in the middle of?

[link to www.marinetraffic.com]

Those are giant heaps, mountains actually, of industrial chemicals and waste and live military ordinance including munitions, explosives, chemical and bio weapons. If one blows, several could potentially daisy-chain.

Now if you were a not-so-friendly foreign nation(s) and wanted to extort money from the US, all you would need to do is park a sub in the vicinity, lock onto one of these ordinace dumps and wait for the cash to start flooding in. Is that why they are sinking the oil (contrary to all rational logic) to darken the waters down deep to make it more difficult for subs to navigate and get a lock on these waiting disasters?

If things get out of hand with the DWH well even, it could potentially sweep all this hidden dirt out from under the watery carpet in a hurry. All those wasted, hard-earned tax dollars might suddenly get refunded in a way you may not be so over-joyed or live to tell about.

Make sure you pass along your gratitude to your "elected" reps, while you can.

Hey guys, soooooo far behind now I am not even going to attempt to catch up. So if I ask something stupid, please bear with me. I've been popping in on some other threads as I get a second or two, but only in between working on getting my laptop and home network secure enough for a federal job I'm training for in a few weeks. Plus picking up some temporary work over the past few weeks to get some extra cash for school supplies (a friend owns a daycare and needed a CDL licensed driver for her daycare bus and I can drive it for her). Just slammed all of a sudden, but grateful for the work. It sucks out here in the job world right now, and I'm pretty well qualified even!

So, I just wanted to say HI and I haven't left, just been swamped. I wanted to post this though. Interesting that Hayward would take off to Russia.

LONDON – BP is jettisoning CEO Tony Hayward, whose verbal blunders made the oil giant's image even worse as it struggled to contain the Gulf oil spill, and will assign him to a key job in Russia, a person familiar with the matter said Monday.

Hayward is set to step down in October and take a post at TNK-BP, the company's joint venture in Russia, according to the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement had not been made by the British company's board.

The move was being made more than three months after an oil rig explosion set off the spill and less than two weeks after a temporary cap finally stopped the oil from leaking. The government's oil spill chief, retired Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, said in Washington on Monday that efforts to solidly seal BP's busted deep-sea well are set to begin in a week.

Yes we miss you ... Well : I do ...lol... But you must go on with your personal life, that is important too. Not everyone has so much free time like I do hahaha ..

You know what I think about Hayward going to Russia >>> He is payed BIG BUCKS to spill the beans over there ... inside information ! Russia wants to take advantage of the situation and I dont even blame them !!! I do believe that Hayward was set out of the game and not incorperated in important descisions, those were taken by other people or agency's ... we all have idea's WHO.
This could become an interresting move in the BP-chess-game ;)

My "A/C" opinion is that Russia is part of Hayward's deal. No one really thinks he wants to travel to the US, do you? The cover of "being in Russia" gives him some personal protection. There are many people who would kill Tony if they could find him. And, yes, he may have some value to Russians, but I expect that to be limited.

Tony Hayward made it clear that he is a disconnected, pompous, self-serving jerk, who is stupid enough to have allowed himself to be staged for this mess. Being that stupid, I can't see where the Russians are getting value.

Krispy, you are so very very right. How many people in Europe and America were just going on with their lives and oblivious to the horrors taking place across Europe? Things were happening they weren't even aware of, and many refused to believe once it was discovered even. Do you know why McArthur had the soldiers film the concentration camps when they got to them? Because he felt certain that NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE THEM!!! Even he knew the human desire to stick our heads in the sand. Many that did know, felt like "What can I do about it?" Sadly, that is the attitude for many Americans as a valuable food source is being destroyed as we speak. Not to mention a large hunk of our economy in tourism for the Gulf States. I personally am more horrified for the sea life lost, but I don't feel optimistic that my fellow humans will care more than a "Oh, well. That sucks" and shrug it off.

I remember reading about Anne Frank as a child and thinking how I would be one who offered an attic. I could see it for my future. Whether I recognized that part of myself in doing such a thing, or saw a future of mine, I don't know. But it kind of creeps me out that my daughter (8years old) came to me crying of a nightmare this morning that someone 'with a Santa Claus face' (I assume white beard) busted in the house after she locked the door and found me (she couldn't understand if I hiding, she just got the 'impression' I was hiding) and dragged me away. That gave me the creeps.

I have renewed faith in the modern era 'Resistance'. That's how I view all of you. Even you lurkers out there! You are a valuable part of this information even if not taking part in the discussion. You hold what we have discovered and researched and can take it with you to your little corner of this earth.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
First, what set off this A/C (me) was an advertisement by Lands’ End in the June 2010 issue of Ladies' Home Journal. Reading material provided in my dentist's waiting room is limited. I freaked when I saw the ad. It is clearly an “in your face” on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. There is no other way to take it when you are US American from a Southeastern state.

The ad is in the June issue and it takes a long advance on ad copy to the publisher for print in these nationally distributed publications. This ad could not have been placed after the April 20th rig explosion and spill, but before. Based on information we now have and logical consequences, we surmise that the real spill happened in February and that the April 20th rig disaster was a planned mass murder to use as an excuse for the oil in the Gulf.

Lands’ End is a preppy mail order house and is also the name of a place on the shore of the Atlantic side of England. A lot of tourists visit there when England is on their itinerary.

The ad is full-page of a swimsuit model, clear ocean beach water with a float plane landing in the distance. At the top of the ad page:

“What’s on your Horizon?”

The body of the ad reads: “A break halfway around the world? ……. Quality and trusted value everywhere.”

The bottom of the ad page:

“That’s Lands’ End®”
“Guaranteed.Period®”

[Just in case the glp font doesn’t recognize the trademark symbol, the characters at the end of these two statements at the bottom of the page are registered trade marks.]

The ad is on page 33.

This ad is slamming the 33s and every Southern US citizen.

There is more and I’ll put that in a subsequent post.

well, I am still interested in what OP has to say

and BTW, Miss Krispy (along with many others) has done a fine job of finding information and helping those of us without time to chase these rabbits to see some connections we would not have made otherwise

don't know what set you kids off, but I sure hope you got it outta your systems because if you would do some reading, I think you might be amazed at what some of the things our brainiacs are coming up with are being used for

and just remember, the guys 'n gals with the Brains are NOT the ones actually directing the Use of this technology

oh yeah, and all this information was generated by OPee's posts
game or not

OP's last three posts
pg 338,342(Odessa),346

Odessa post.. Good day, on Wednesday my girlfriend told me that 14 European nations with russia china india and japan approved the Odessa Protocols at the embassy meeting. This morning the DED shows the change in DED signatures and that there are already 7 new vessels from the Odessa Fleet near the rim. 3 of the odessa fleet vessels are russian, 1 from germany and one from norway, 2 are from a salvage company registered in the netherlands and are not navy.

I want to be very clear about the point I am making for the time when I can get back to post more to the story.

There exists indication that the Lands' End mail order house corp-o-rat owners in England are behind the mass murder going on in the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a list of companies whose executives should be arrested, charged and prosecuted for murder:

British Petroleum
Transocean
Halliburton
Lands' End

I'll be adding some more.

Hmm. I wonder if this could be one of those subs whizzing around under there.
