WHAT TO DO? WHAT TO DO?

A B C s, listen up! Get to somebody and talk to them, somebody in an official capacity to do something. We're not just Monday-morning quarterbacking here. We're in the middle of this horror!

A B C s listen up:

No more downsizing the risk to protect corporate images. The lawyers and their tort issues will be lined up for 100 years to go to court and the shake-out will be moot in the long run.

The public is not going to riot over “information” provided. The riots won’t come until our social structures break down. So, give us a source of reliable, accurate, current information. We want and need a risk-based assessment of the problem. Give us a place in every Southeastern state to go to and get regular updates on air and water quality compared to a standard. Online is OK.

On an official site, and not some expert’s “opinion,” explain that the Gulf disaster will cause extremes in temperatures on land and that we should prepare particularly for extreme cold. Many of us live in inadequately insulated housing.

If suitable information is provided, our communities and churches can start to plan to ease some of the hazards.

The government funded “grants” of taxpayer money handed to communities in recent years has not worked. Control of this money has been through the corporate-Nazi 44s and it has been spent largely for naught. Equipment that doesn’t fit existing equipment, empty emergency plan books, and plain ol’ theft and embezzlement. The worst is that the 44s have been taking out our volunteer emergency services and replacing them with paid “brotherhood” workers. We now have one fire department where the average age of paid and volunteer firemen is 70 yo.

Let us have enough information so we have a position to fend for ourselves with knowledge.
