| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1058057 United States08/04/2010 11:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | does anyone know why this one cam is always set up to shoot feed of this piece of tall equipment which is ALWAYS surrounded and bathed in this brilliant, cobalt blue colored light? it is unlike any of the other cam shots, angle shots, area shots, etc. that I have witnessed to date in watching these live cams, which I do regularly. why would they make it such a bright arena in which to watch, or film... since it is not conducive to a clearer focus and since it's too far from the equipment it is focused on to be able to visualize and monitor it anyway at the distance... what do you imagine the purpose is of it all? they don't usually run while sitting idyl, I mean in an area where their eyes will be of no use to anyone viewing the cams... they are usually experimenting with the microbes and/or focused on equipment or areas of the seafloor where activity is prevalent at the time. but this blue one has me puzzled. and what is with that brilliant blue light that only serves to make the whole view somewhat obscured.
