Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Apology/correction. They chuted in via chopper ONTO the RIG around midnight on the 18th and left via dingy to their mother vessel. They were SAS.

So the SAS blew up the DWH...

or perhaps someone pretending to be SAS.

The Special Air Service are a regular British Army regiment, abseiling down onto a rig and fixing charges would not be beyond the realm of possiblity for them, but to do it to an American owned rig, let alone one in American waters would be the height of stupidity and diplomatically very embarassing if something had gone wrong.

If such a "special forces" operation did take place, then it must have been by a foreign power hostile to the USA, or carried out by mecenaries acting on behalf of such a foreign power. These mecenaries could well have been British ex special forces, or some other European or American mecenaries posing as the SAS. They could have been working for BP, or a rival of BP. The possibilities are as endless.

I just can't see the British Govermnent allowing regular front line British troops to be involved in anything like this, on the other hand, they do apparently employ a semi mythical outfit called "the Increment" who are allegedly ex special forces and they carry out all the dirty jobs on behalf of MI5 and MI6.

As a previous poster mentioned, oil rigs are the domain of the Royal Marines, rather than the SAS. The Marines are part of the Royal Navy, the Special Boat Squadron are the Navy version of the SAS and specialise in underwater and amphibious operations, they work closely with the submarines; also the Marines have the Fleet Protection Group, formerly known as commachio Company after a famous battle in ww2. FPG carry out various roles, including defence of Nuclear weapons and defence of oil rigs; if they know how to defend an oil rig, they know how to attack it; it could well be the mercenaries i mentioned earlier might have been ex Marines.

There again other countries will have their own maritime special forces, the USA has the Navy Seals, the Russians certainly have them as do the French.

I know for a fact, that Lord Carrington, when he was head of British Intelligence, ran his own covert ops group - answerable only to himself and his elite cronies. This group only formed when necessary, utilised assets and resources from many nations (depending on the mission). The group was not consistent, and people were pulled in/chosen from various regular units, or intelligence units - as necessary.

I know Carrington was not the only one doing this.
Another example is contained in a book called "The Sixteen".

Most of these groups only exist for a specific mission. The members are only told what their immediate job is, and not how it fits into any larger picture. Everyone knows that to know more than you should is a death warrant - even from your own 'side'.

Obviously none of these groups are traceable; none are formed at the bequest of any elected body; and all of them are disposable in worst case scenarios.

These groups are able to act in other nations territories (with permission), able to receive intel and resources, (including black-op subs, helicopters etc) - and all need a callsign/signature ID for when operating craft or vehicles that are detectable by other nations.

My point - it might have been the SAS signature/call sign that registered on the DED - but that doesn't mean it was the actual SAS on an official mission. It was equally likely to be some insta-unit acting on the instructions of some elite group behind the scenes.

Remember - the real powers behind the scenes have NO allegiance to national borders. National borders are only for us useless eaters to be distracted by - they are nothing more than resource checkpoints for the elite, to see who is going where etc.

This is NOT a case of the UK vs France etc - so don't get distracted by shills on this thread who want to wave their patriotic ignorance around.

peace

I'll just continue on the bacteria.....

Deep-Sea Bacteria Form Avatar-Style Electrochemical Networks

According to findings that could have been pulled from a deep-sea sequel to Avatar, bacteria appear to conduct electrical currents across the ocean floor, driving linked chemical reactions at relatively vast distances.
...
The original focus of Nielsen’s team wasn’t seafloor conductivity, but an especially interesting species of sulfur bacteria found on the floor of Aarhus Bay. To help quantify their chemical activity, the researchers kept a few beakers of seawater and sulfur bacteria-free sediment for comparison.

After those experiments ended, the beakers were almost forgotten. Then, a few weeks later, the researchers noticed strange patterns of activity. Changing oxygen levels in water above the top sediment layer were almost immediately followed by chemical fluctuations several layers down. The distance was so great, and the response time so quick, that usual methods of chemical transport — molecular diffusion, or a slow drift from high to low concentration — couldn’t explain it.

At first, the researchers were stumped. Then they realized the process made sense if bacteria in the top and bottom layers were linked. Anything that affected oxygen-processing bacteria up top would also affect the sulfide-eating microbes below. It would explain the apparent connection; and an electrical linkage would explain the speed. It would also boggle the mind.
...
In recent years, however, scientists have found species of microbes with outer membranes covered by electron-transporting enzymes, or studded with conductive, micrometer-scale filaments. These are used in driving experimental microbial fuel cells, and are known to be found in the Aarhus Bay mud. Those sediments also contain trace amounts of pyrite, an electrically conductive mineral.

The top sediment layer also had a low concentration of hydrogen ions, something that could only be explained through an electrochemical reaction, with electrons conducted from a distance, said Nielsen.

Nealson called the findings “astonishing,” and said they “may be relevant to energy transfer and electron flow through many different environments.” They could eventually applied to bacteria-based schemes for bioremediation, carbon sequestration and energy production.

[link to www.wired.com]

bacteria appear to conduct electrical currents across the ocean floor ???? Remember the Subs have (had?) navigational problems....and then again there is the word "pyrite, an electrically conductive mineral".

...getting closer???

The story is also covered here:
[link to www.the-scientist.com]

and adds at the end the following:

One potential issue, noted Fons Stams from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, who didn't participate in the research, is that the authors didn't directly measure electrical conductance, but instead measured pH -- which depends on the level of free electrons -- as a stand-in. De Beers agreed, noting that "pH is influenced by many things." For changes seen over such a distance -- about 1 centimeter -- and at such a speed, however, conductance "is the only possible explanation," said de Beer.

De Beer, who researches sediments on the ocean floor, envisions taking advantage of this phenomenon to produce energy in-situ during deep sea dives. The electrical current in sediment may not be enough to fuel something as large as a submersible, he said, but it could fuel a light bulb or more importantly, deep sea monitoring equipment.

Strange deep-sea bacteria grown in lab

SYDNEY, 27 July 2006 - For the first time, an acid- and heat-loving micro-organism plucked from deep-sea hydrothermal vents has been grown in the laboratory, giving researchers vital clues to understanding the role they play in their peculiar environment.
...
This acid and heat loving or 'thermoacidophilic' microbe, belongs to a bacterial group known as DHVE2. Dubbed Aciduliprofundum boonei by Reysenbach and her colleagues in this week's edition of the journal Nature, they found that it thrives at pH values between 3.3 and 5.8 – similar acidity to vinegar. It can also withstand temperatures between 55˚C and 75˚C - enough to kill off most other organisms.
...
By growing this newly discovered organism in the laboratory, Reysenbach and colleagues have shown for the first time that acid loving microbes do indeed play a significant role in the sulphur, iron and carbon cycles at deep-sea vents.

Reysenbach explained how these results illustrate just how much remains to be discovered in microbial world. Acid or heat-loving microbes could have many applications in industry. They could potentially clean up spills or be involved in mining processes. Studies of these extreme environments also prepare scientists for their search for life elsewhere in the solar system.

[link to www.cosmosmagazine.com]

"There are some microbes that grow at pH1 and 70˚C", said Reysenbach. "If there is a place on Earth, or elsewhere in the solar system, where there is energy to tapped, microbes will figure a way to use it. They're very resourceful."

Thanks for the posts and the links.

Researchers must be very careful in looking for economic use in the conductive ability of bacteria and other organisms.

Many years ago, a research project showed that diseased bacteria could transfer disease from one glass enclosed container to disease-free bacteria in another glass enclosed container. In other words, disease was transferred through some type of conductive ability without the need for a vector.

Do not dig up the bottom of the ocean floor. We do not know what is there.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Good day, before I give you a summery of what happened with the new Israeli submarine I want you to know that the Israeli sub is not the initial "culprit". I read some of you have speculated about the Israeli submarine and its involvement. I like the term "Super Sub" from Nexus, Merci Nexus. Although it looks like Israel wanted to exploit the delicate situation, we don't think they are the initiators. . (My girlfriend an I have discussed this and because the situation has been temporarily contained, we ready to let you know who the culprit is according to the DED traffic). From the transcripts it seems The Mirror log on the Em, 2us and Mistral confirmed the presence of the SAS from the 17th of April in the GoM. The vessel subsequently dropping and operating the sonic drill capsules was/is BRITISH.((I will post the summary of The Israeli submarine's involvement and more speculation in the next post)

surely you dont mean the Special Air Service but rather the Special Boat Service or SBS

and

i do not see the value of starting your sentences with "My girlfriend and I......" in a literal sense, if you like to start the algorithm with MI is a different matter

every centrally controlled government has a pouti (a political officer)and 1 or more operatives on board their first strike strategic assets as it is these types of weapon groups that start a war

the isreali sub went trough a cathartic process with the winning side being either the mutinous or the original command structure, i cant know for sure but assuming the disastrous action was averted (op's suggestion) then one is led to the conclusion that the us operatives won this round

there are several astute observers on board here(krispy,rs,ne,ireland, chile,uk,sa,us,nz,au,hl, sorry if i forget some) and that is why i hang around giving my opinion hoping to add to the soup

Their mother vessel was in the area from the 17th. They chuted in via chopper around midnight on the 18th and left via dingy to their mother vessel. They were SAS.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
So,

Operatives blow up the DWH, which centers all military and civilian asets (especially media) to dealing with the spill.

This provides cover for something else happening in the gulf.

Submarines plant drilling capsules in a previously scouted and known location. These drilling capsules are trying to open a hole to a oil reservoir that has a disasterous bacterium in it, OR are injecting a organism into the oil so that it can be dispersed with the DWH oil. This fits with the device the submarine found. It may be the injection and holding tank.

This allows them to introduce the organism so it can do planet wide damage, but have no link to it being introduced by man. It would be seen as a natural ecological conseuence of drilling.

At that point, After the a large part population has been dramaticallly destroyed (or just traumatized) Anyone left would be afraid of drilling for oil, seeing it as a potential death trap.

This sounds like plan "B" for the people promoting Global Warming.

If the population is reduced, and the remaining population is scared to death of petrolium, then the concept of instituting Cap and Trade would be readily agreed to by the population. For a long time, a lot of money would be made and change hands.

Voilla'

The Greenies get what they want, and the bankers get what they want, and the population restrictionists get what they want.

It seems as though there is some group out there that would want all three.

Make your crisis if there isn't one there to help you.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Here in the Southeast USA, and somewhat affected by the oil spill and the apparent unsuitable response by US government officials, I don’t see BeePee at the “fall guy” but as a corporate front for all kinds of dirty operations on behalf of “elites.” Put Lands’ End, Inc. in that same category for a Chicago connection.

Splitting the US land mass is a plan if only as propaganda to the public. There is substantial support for a theory that the US is going to suffer a geological split due to a major fault line that runs along the Mississippi River. Last December the CIA and NSA finished their move from Virginia (DC) to Denver, Colorado.

“Friday, May 6, 2005
The CIA has plans to relocate the headquarters of its domestic division, which is responsible for operations and recruitment in the United States, from the CIA's Langley headquarters to Denver, a move designed to promote innovation, according to U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials.
......
CIA spokesman declined to comment. Other current and former intelligence officials said the Denver relocation reflects the desire of CIA Director Porter J. Goss to develop new ways to operate under cover, including setting up more front corporations and working closer with established international firms."
[link to www.washingtonpost.com]

Please note that the CIA sets up “front corporations” and works with “established international firms.”

I don’t believe that Russia is distracted in any way with the GOM, but on-the-ball. Russia has lots of fuel, just needing fair weather ports for distribution. Russia failed at getting pipelines across Afghanistan, and the others succeeded. Russia is having trouble with the Ukraine, so is now laying an ocean bottom pipeline to a northern European port. Note essential dates relative to our thread:

“Friday, 9 April 2010 15:04 UK

Construction of the controversial Nord Stream pipeline from Russia to western Europe under the Baltic Sea has been officially launched.

Gazprom holds 51% of Nord Stream, which will run from the Russian port of Vyborg to Germany's Greifswald. ....
The project was given the go-ahead only in February amid fears that the pipeline could damage the Baltic Sea.

President Medvedev said at the ceremony that the pipeline "for the first time - which may be one of its main achievements - will ensure direct supplies of Russian gas to western Europe, bypassing transit territories".
.....
Russia provides up to 30% of the gas consumed in Europe, and many European countries have been keen to secure alternative energy supplies.

Critics have argued that European countries do not need more gas from Russia and that the project is too expensive.
.....
The pipeline will be passing through Russian, Finnish, Swedish and German waters...."
[link to news.bbc.co.uk]

In February, after all went to hell in the Gulf of Mexico, leaving Russia’s business partner BP with huge liability, Russia gave approval for the undersea pipeline which will bring fuel to Europe.

Northern Europeans can get ready to get out their wallets and funnel enormous amounts of cash to Russia when this pipe in online.

All the saber-rattling with Iran is from a bunch of crazies attempting to hide their own WMD proliferation.

......
One has to wonder, how many other potentially HUGE situations like this have come and gone in the past - and we never heard a twinkle about any of it?

peace

Yes, Nexuseditor... I agree that the US contingent is 'split'... So the pieces on the board are: Russians-Europeans (Odessa)... US - two parts ... black ops sub disguised as Israeli (maybe)... and a monster from the deep with the Greenpeace cavalry coming to save the day.. Sorry, I didn't mean to trivialise... Just impish humour pops out sometimes.

And most seem to agree that BeePee is the fall guy to do the dirty oily work... Too many holes/cracks... not enough fingers to plug them. I read they have the technology to see the huge methane bubble chamber from satellite... They have sonic technology to map floor/crust layers... Experts have commented how dangerous and risky it was to drill so deep and near these 'fluid' zones/shelves.

So... what is the agenda? Some commented to split off shelf... But wouldn't that mean the shelf is unsupported or weak underneath (maybe hollow) If that's right... then why split off shelf? Why change land masses? Who benefits?

If Europe freezes over... needs more oil/gas... and Iran has plenty... Plus talk by US about nuking Iran? And lots of opposition from China, Russia-Europe on that one. Is this like a chess move where you distract Russia-Europe in GOM... for something else in the pipeline? GOM already mucked up gulf stream... Eurasia stuffed. Now if they knock over the Queen piece (Iran)... bingo... No fuel for the others.

What do you think?

Greenpeace is on the move. Yessss.

"Since the Deepwater Horizon offshore rig exploded and sank in April, BP has devoted inadequate resources to the oil spill response, withheld information from the American public, and denied access to spill sites to journalists. So our ship the Arctic Sunrise is heading to the Gulf to do an independent assessment of the impacts. We believe it’s way past time the full, unabridged truth about the extent and nature of this oil catastrophe was told to America and the world."

Mention of Diego Garcia reminds me that the 2004 Boxer Day tsunami was a "Sampson Option" live .... and some folks knew it was coming because we had "German Guy" on glp who gave us the date. Very long thread, and his prognostications were quite accurate.

The tsunami wiped out the US Base at Diego Garcia, although US officials denied the destruction. DG is an atoll which is 4' above sea level, 16' at its highest point. This was the major supply base for the US war on Iraq. Afterward, a US Air Force general was in Turkey begging to use an air base. I don't know what happened with that. Maybe Iraq didn't get bombed as frequently.

The US Navy is on the move in unusual places as noted by several different mentions and links in this thread.

"Change" is really in the wind, perhaps not as expected

btw, any guy who shoots a lawyer in the face and gets away with it, has enemies in high places.

This is a navy coup which has been a work in progress since the second Bush term.
The bulk of the US Army is scattered about the world with no way home.
The navy in Costa Rica has marines, as has the naval flotillas no matter where they are.
This navy will also control the sub-mariners.
A lot, most likely all, your munitions of import are in Diego Garcia.
The subs built for the Israelis are likely re-fitted in S Africa with new tech which the US navy need to control.
The US navy now could have this new tech.
The Samson Option is not particular to the GOM, this is a well known threat in the ME, and Euro-Asia theaters.
This problem in the GOM is a threat to the US naval flotillas which would not apply to the subs in the GOM, and elsewhere in the worlds seas, Perhaps a naval buff could explain.
I will refer back to the Greek poster who first pointed out the mix of sets in play at the moment.
Recent posters have pointed out some of those players as well, but in a more elongated way.
Would it were I could correlate all the players in the mix and put each in blocks as in a family tree. Perhaps there is some here who could do this as this old codger is too old and confused by it all.
Well done to all who have tried to make sense of this puzzle, and hopefully we will all see a happy solution.

This is interesting. Diplomatic briefcases are not allowed to be opened by any one... not police... not anyone... except the receiving embassy. So if you wanted to get something extremely important to certain people without interference from the 'plebs' then this is the way to go.

There's only so much paper you can stuff into a certain size briefcase... so how come they are twice as heavy... Unless they contain something other than paper... Maybe metallic... maybe a device - or a piece of a device.

If there are a number of countries operating clandestinely in alliance that intend... or have as a back up plan if all else fails, to nuke something - then you would have to have a failsafe mechanism so that one button pushed can't detonate something by mistake. You would divide the detonation device into pieces and apply different codes that each entity involved in the decision-making must enter... in order for it all to come together for the final detonation (if required).

Is it possible that the GOM operations are in the process of setting something up? That something will be triggered to go off at a certain time... That the effects will be 'freezing'... What is coming out of the GOM floor and what is under the rising bubble? Methane gas... which can be contained by freezing. Do they intend to freeze the GOM to stop the explosion of the methane bubble which can set off a chain reaction of landshift and continental change?

And the bad guys (whichever blackops they are)... want that bubble to burst.

The cases are the Exact same Size and Dimensions but some embassies are reporting on intranets that their briefcases are twice as heavy as those delivered at other embassies. (weight) while others are even reporting that their cases are losing weight.

im willing to bet
embassies on or near lay line intersections are gaining

interesting! this deserves a closer look, imo
question is, where are they currently stored
and are those locations on ley lines or nodes

GODDAMN!!!

I just found the drilling Capsules!!!!

Add sonic action to this animal and a undersea power source, and There is the technology we've been looking for.

Didn't OP refer to cutting undersea cables in a post? Perhaps cables were cut to an submersible drilling capsule.

Yes, that is precisely the point.

Question is why were they drilling?

Read the summaries, a few interesting theories

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

Regards,

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Just to let you know about Something interesting and Puzzling. There is some Controversy over the chinese Diplomatic Dispatch briefcases for October 13th. The cases are the Exact same Size and Dimensions but some embassies are reporting on intranets that their briefcases are twice as heavy as those delivered at other embassies. (weight) while others are even reporting that their cases are losing weight.

Interestingly enough, there was a thread the other day with the GOM tempatures. The temps were dropping. Who knows if this data is accurate or tampered with. Perhaps something to do with the Gulf stream loop stopping? Anyways keep an eye on the GOM temps. The general consensus, is that more research continues so they probably won't freeze it ($ to be made afterall).

Yeah... I bet those subs, navy seals, SAS etc are doing a lot of 'research' all right... Seems to me that BeePee couldn't get out of there fast enough... then they were blocked at the pass. Wonder what is happening with that stand-off situation... shark
