This is for the young man or woman askng
abought the 12th a couple of hundred pages, If you are sill following this thred, I couldn't go back to the place where for 15 years on a nightly basis I was abducted, I was blessed in telling the truth when I left so tx., I was offered a 3000.00 a week job (bring home) workig on specisl project in Dallas Tx, When I get back I will try again.
There is so many things I could speak but noone would believe, Maybe one day

The ORCA being 'a' transport ship makes the most sense to me. My memory might be failing me at the moment but ORCA has been used has a very mobile term. I know there has been much speculation that it is indeed a ship, but the ship doing the collection does make a lot of sense. The distinction I am trying to make is that 'any' ship is in the GOM right now. ORCA, however seems to be in the 4 theaters at different times. We have not been told that directly by OP, but many have speculated at times whether he was referring to the GOM or one of the other theaters.
