Just to keep all information in real time, this happened last week and the general consensus was that the Senate does not want to confer subpoena power to the president. As historically it is a power conferred to the Congress. I cannot say that I disagree with their rationale. After all, supposedly hasn't the White House (with the Coast Guard) been working hand in hand with BP. Why would we trust the 'enablers' to investigate the suspects.

Excuse me for being a little slow politically but why would the congress and senate disagree like that ?

......

This is what is left of a drilling riser. I watched the same feed today for over an hour. They must have surveyed 500-1000 ft of this riser pipe. According to the late Matt Simmons, the riser pipe from Well A blew completely out of the sea floor during it's blowout back in Feb (have to check date). I noticed lots of debris around this riser pipe. I'm surprised they showed it, but, as you probably noticed, there were no coordinates given to verify position...

February 13, 2010 is the documented date that BP reported an oil spill they had not been able to stop. Haven't found anything to tell us when it actually happened (the break of the seabed floor opening up the oil reservoir into the Gulf of Mexico.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1085581

Today, when they were surveying the riser pipe, the cam came upon what to me looked like a hole in the gulf floor. There were bent pipes sticking out of the hole. This is the best image I could get.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
When BP first showed the spill oil was pouring out of a broken out pipe that was sticking out of the Ocean floor.
After the bait and switch we had a BOP and a riser and massive amounts of oil but definitely a different location!Up to that point the pictures were clear.
Now it is hard to see anything the pictures are pixilated and BP is hiding something in a major way.I just can't work out what is being hidden.I have seen the bubbles and blobs of oil but that is minor and they are working hard to hide something major. What is it?

I haven't posted since I have nothing interesting to add...

BUT

If all hell is about to break loose in the GOM wouldn't it make sense to fire up the old HAARP and make sure that Earl hits the east coast?

Keep a CLOSE eye on Earl kids, it will be a valuable tool to deflect all eyes from the GOM.

Oh gee, I'm living on Long Island. Sooooo, if we all sink into the Atlantic it has been a pleasure to post with you all!!

seing as how this page was posted in nexus world wide i think you can garente they are monitering it along with all the intelgance comunitys world wide you couldent find a beter plase to gage publik nolage of events regarding gom and bp
i am consernd as to bp,s actions as well as bp is heavly invested in by pension funds in the uk and if bad things hapen to bp because of any prouven negligans it will be finanshaly catastrofik for the penshoners i hope the fund managers hav had the good sens to put there stoks elsware to prevent this ocuring
 Quoting: ej 1084956

I wish to put emphasis on ej's explanation about the pension fund managers.

We already know that the UK's pension funds are heavily invested in BP. There has also been a report that the Netherlands, and the poser Queen, are also very heavy in BP. Some of you from Australia, please check your national pension fund pools and see where are the largest amounts of money and let us know. I have a feeling that Australia is also heavily invested in BP.

The point is reasonable that prudent fund managers, if they have not already sold off BP, will spend time, or have employees spend time, propping up the BP image to keep the stock from sinking further. We can also reasonably expect that pensioners themselves might put special effort into propping up BP. If they don't, they may not get another dividend check which is keeping them out of pension-poverty status.

There were over 60k hits on this thread its first seven hours. That is a tremendous amount of activity and for information purposes, it may be very worthwhile for vested parties to attempt to control the flow of information in a direction they perceive to not be detrimental to their purposes.

True, we have no confirmation of the cause of the deaths, but the fact that lowly sailors on the ship were allowed to "vote" on whether to keep the cargo and continue is a strong indication that the cargo was known to be lethal.

Good argument! From the beginning it seemed unquestionable that the cargo was dangerous to be handled, and that contact with it is what caused the death of the dark skinned sailors. I think this whole thread has a continuous theme that some kind of organism is deadly and perhaps uncontrollable. I've seen no hint of evidence to start thinking of it as friendly. I'm a male, so my nurturing instinct is not strong enough to embrace that critter which now might even be used as a bioweapon.

BOLDED PART = your assumption ...

I did not say that it was friendly in all its nature.
But there is a difference between defencive and attacking whatever commes near... In that case NO SAILOR WOULD BE ALIVE as we speak/type.

Yes the OP said that there was A 20 % cathaclistic aspect to it ! Only TWENTY PERCENT !!!!

I think that it has been prooved more then enough and more then one time we have provided information that the corexit-mixture is cauzing BLOOD_DIFICIENCIES !!!! Not 20 % but a very much higher percentage !!!!!

Dont make a drama from something that is not at all, "all" a drama.
Pleee-ze!

You would not want to know of what they can make bioweapons of ... you would be shocked. There are sooo may things that IS USED as a bioweapon.
This organism on the other hand is more of use of its morhping capabilities then for tis "lethal" capabilities.

Do you have any ideah how many substances we use in daily life that are LETHAL ????
I guess not ...

Hell, porpoises have been used as a bioweapon! They are digging up corpses from historical pandemics to get raw material for their stinkin' bioweapons.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
The article at the link is dated June 10, 2010.

Early on this thread, which began June 26th, we had a poster come on, about three times, very strongly suggesting that the oil had intentionally been "magnetized" with the Corexit for the purpose of using an underwater "induction" process to sweep the then magnetized oil into containment for future processing. When asked how long it would take to remove magnetized oil by this induction process, he guessed "about ten years."

I have a great concern that because BP has not been straightforward about its activity, and the real source of the major part of the oil, that those working toward a solution have crossed wires.

It is possible that we had university research implementing a program to magnetize the oil for scooping up, not knowing that an ancient, magnetic bio-organism had been released from the frozen sea bed.

I've looked for these "magnetized Corexit" posts and do not find them. They did not have any links associated with the posts and did not name any particular organization. We will want to remember that NALCO, the producer of Corexit has refused to name all the ingredients, saying that its formula is proprietary.

We need a court order, don't we?

Also from the Chinese media......

Chinese and US researchers have discovered a new strain of bacteria that can help cleanup of the massive Gulf Coast oil spill, it was announced on Friday.

The bacteria can produce non-toxic, comparatively inexpensive " rhamnolipids," and effectively help degrade polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or PAHs -- environmental pollutants that are one of the most harmful aspects of oil spills, the Oregon State University(OSU) said in a news release.

Because of its unique characteristics, this new bacterial strain could be of considerable value in the long-term cleanup of the massive Gulf Coast oil spill, said the release.

The discovery was made by researchers from OSU and two collaborating universities in China -- the Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and Nanjing Agricultural University. The OSU is filing for a patent on the discovery.

"PAHs are a widespread group of toxic, carcinogenic and mutagenic compounds, but also one of the biggest concerns about oil spills," said Xihou Yin, a research assistant professor in the OSU College of Pharmacy.

"Some of the most toxic aspects of oil to fish, wildlife and humans are from PAHs," Yin said. "They can cause cancer, suppress immune system function, cause reproductive problems, nervous system effects and other health issues. This particular strain of bacteria appears to break up and degrade PAHs better than other approaches we have available."

The discovery is strain "NY3" of a common bacteria that has been known of for decades, called Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It was isolated from a site in Shaanxi Province in China, where soils
had been contaminated by oil.

Was this used before the Chinese could get a patent?Apparently a new strain of oil eating bacteria HAS shown up in the Gulf!!!!!!!Also notice tge connection to Pseudomonas which is a nasty disease! All kinds of implications here if the Chinese were preempted!!!!!

Is there a link? Great find

More on the "blob" organism that is alive and moving around on the sea floor in the Gulf. Early on I had heard a rumor that there were 2 U.S. Navy submarines somewhere close to the Gulf monitoring a huge blob like organism that had things swimming inside of it and also had little lights moving around in it, well, I just brushed that of as B.S. but now after investigating for myself I am convinced that it is true! This video along with my others show the vein system as well as whatever those little bright light things are and you can see things swimming around on the inside of it. That black dot look like it is an eye ball! I swear at one point in the first part of this video that black dot looks to be the eye of a shark that has been encased within this blob!

The senate blocked this because:
quoting SR37 on this page:
Thread: UNBELIEVABLE! The senate blocks investigation of BP after the House voted 420 to 1! (Page 2)

The Republicans did NOT block the investigation. T he Republicans blocked a vote "without Debate!", meaning that they would not vote through the panel picked ONLY by Obama. They wanted a say so in who was on the investigative panel. Listen to the video when she says "WITHOUT DEBATE" and you will understand. Then again, maybe not. Maybe you all need a civics lesson and a grasp of how Senate rules work.

Later in the day, once a panel was selected by all parties, it was approved. But that would mean you couldn't post snippets of videos for uneducated morons to gasp about how the Republicans blocked an investigation, eh?

unquote(you can tell she was a little unhappy with her thread mates LOL)

In other words if they had passed it the first go around, it would have gave all the power to the president which is illegal. Check out the thread to understand it better.

I have a question, what was the drilling incident where we believe was destroyed? The reason I ask is twofold first I must be getting old because I can't remember and second is because I have captured a new video that if I am correct there is a drilling riser laying on the sea floor. Parts of it looks like it as been destroyed, at first I thought it was the under water cable but done some research and found a picture of a drilling riser and it looks identical to me.

Scientists Drill a Mile Into Active Deep Sea Fault Zone

[link to www.wired.com]

So if this is a drilling riser, who does it belong too? BP or the one that was destroyed?

[link to www.youtube.com]

Thanks for the video. I was watching this as well and wonder if this debris is from well A as I later saw a pipe sticking up into the water at a 45 degree angle, didn't get a pic but did get a couple of the drilling riser (if that what this is)

[link to i772.photobucket.com]
Maybe we should post this onto another thread as it may not fit in with the topic here, hmmmmm????

Please do not move to another thread as the topic is relevant. There is no official announcement, but it is believed that the actual problem "spill" is from the drill rig called "Thunder Horse" and that is happened in February. That is when BP notified the US government that it had a "spill" it could not contain.

Also, at the tine of one of the first hurricanes this season, many believe that BP switched the cams during the shutdown so that what we thought we were watching on the Deepwater Horizon site and the relief well was actual work being done at the original spill site.

Note that the cam on Costa's link does not show a location.

Very relevant. Please carry on.

The picture on my old monitor is grainy. Appears to be at about 4800'. Costa's video I watched started showing pipe at 5000'. Is this sitting on the sea floor at 4800'? Can you post the actual depth shown in your pic?

I'm asking because we may be able to look underwater in likely coordinates at that level. Renegade can probably tell us how to do that. I can get underwater on google, but don't know how to read for depth.

Yes, unfortunately I am still here. Everything about the vacation got delayed a day. My trailer is a 30 foot Mallard. It sits on the side of my house on a extension of my driveway, and there is a slight slope to the drive toward the back yard, which is solid forest.

Well, I went to hook it to the truck to pull it out to put our stuff in it, and I did a stupid. I removed the wheel chock first, and then tried to hook up the trailer. First time I ever made that mistake in 7 years of using the trailer.

I bumped the trailer tongue very slightly with the hitch ball on my truck, and all of a sudden, I saw my trailer driving away from me backwards.

This is not a problem with a normal yard, but my yard has a 15 foot drop on a 45 degree slope onot even 12 feet from the back of my house.

Well, the box is sprung, the siding is loose, cracked and crumpled, The water and sewage tanks are damaged, the air conditioner is sitting oddly, there is a new ditch at the bottom of the hill, and I am $450 poorer after paying for a tow company to get it out of there.

Police report, tow trucks, and calls to the insurance company.

We have decided that it would be best to get a hotel.

A day late, but what the heck.

Yes, and that occurred after one of those ip bans. Just like with EJ. Except in EJ's case, two others joined up at almost the same time as him, and logged into this thread with posts of support to EJ. They are either EJ himself, or his buddies - but the fact is - he has coordinated his appearance and support on this thread with other posters.

This is a standard tactic employed by disruptors on many lists and threads. You infiltrate several people, who act in unison to divide a thread up amongst fighting people.

The powers that do not seem able to shut down the source of this thread, so option 2 is to send in the demolition team. I'm just wondering whether EJ and his 2 buddies that we know of - are part of that team.

Or did EJ and his two buddies get IP banned at the same time, and then just happen to rejoin and post from three continents - all within an hour of each other with no pre-arrangements? Sounds unlikely to me.

I know several people with dyslexia, and not one of them has problems with sending emails or text messages at all.

EJ has already sniped at people on this list for no good reason. When glared at - he plays the 'oh I've got dyslexia' sympathy card.

Sorry if I don't believe you EJ.

Oh noooooooo! That is tragic. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Please use some care while on vacation. And, try to enjoy yourself, the other stuff can wait until you return home. We will miss you.

so what does an upgraded acct get you? Does it allow communication via PM's that the donor of the free accounts can monitor without the other viewers of this thread being able to see?

Why do you keep attacking ej? Just let it be, if you don;t like him just don;t read his tread. We like him and enjoy is posting. so please lay off ej...

I did not consider this an attack, more an observation and a warning to others. EJ has made several snide comments towards good people this list, and then used the 'oh I've got dyslexia' card to turn criticism into sympathy.

Based on emails I have received, I am not alone in suspecting EJ has been 'sent into this thread' with some buddies to derail it. I was sceptical of this theory, until I saw for myself that just after EJ rejoined, so did two others, who immediately chimed in with quotes and posts of support for EJ, even using the same emoticons.

Why wouldn't one be suspicious of EJ and his supporters on this list? One could argue that EJ is using your nicer sympathetic natures to worm his way into your trust. It's a standard spook tactic folks - so yes, I am going to call it as I see it.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Interesting development:

"BP's Crude Oil May Be Radioactive
New Orleans attorney Stuart Smith knows something about radiation from oil drilling:
Smith is well known for his role as lead counsel in an oilfield radiation case that resulted in a verdict of $1.056 billion against ExxonMobil for contaminating land it leased from the Grefer family in Harvey, Louisiana –– and attempting to cover it up.

***

The court stated that from June 1986 to March 1987, “Exxon officials intentionally withheld information,” and that the company “knew the [radioactive] scale posed a direct danger to the physical health of those workers.” Oilfield waste, or TERM, is primarily composed of radium, a highly radioactive chemical element. Exposure to radium is known to cause a variety of devastating illnesses, including cancer. Radium’s impact on the human body is particularly acute because it is similar chemically to calcium –– and as such is frequently absorbed into bones after entering the body."

Makes you wonder if they are hiding something else found in test results, and don't want to set a precedent for having to reveal 'proprietary information'?
