Reports have the ME rig exploding 9-9:30AM. I find it curious that the same mentioned SAS are returning from perhaps doing something like blowing up another rig maybe. The timing of Acolyte's 'meeting' post for 9-10 this morning with OP (assumed) is too much (for me) to ignore. The 'Orange' and sniper cat are mentioned by OP as well.

....also Apache is currently aquiring Mariner Energy, and Apache ALSO aquired quite a bit of BP's assets in thier effort to raise money. In addition Mariners stock has over 19000 puts on it as of YESTERDAY which is extremely high for that stock. So just who the hell is Apache corp run by and what the hell is going on? Are they so blatant that they short the stock again as they did with BP just before it blew?

Russia has signed a "historic" contract on Mi-17 helicopter deliveries to Argentina, a member of a Russian delegation said on Wednesday.

That is not a semi-submersible rig. That rig is designed for shallow drilling. Google shows that area to be shallow.
