Why the visceral hatred of our President? It is very tiresome...so unnecessary on a thread like this. This isn't a sorority house or at least I didn't think it was!

Because he is supposed to work for the people, representing them as a majority. Instead he does what he wants, ignoring free market pricipals. When a 40 hour a week worker is only slightly better off than a welfare recipient something is very wrong. Prolonging the recession and pushing us deeper in is only going to make it longer and harder to get out. I could go on and on, but its off topic

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
[link to www.marinetraffic.com]

At the marinetraffic site, we've already discussed that an extra-ordinary number of ships are listed in the Galveston and Corpus Christi area, compared to a month ago, when most ships seemed to be in and around the Louisiana ports.

Currently,

677 Corpus Christi and Galveston

158 Louisiana

76 Florida

Another significant difference in traffic is that now almost all the tankers are in Texas. There are only 3 showing in LA. Most of the LA traffic is tug boats and yachts.

If anyone has an explanation for this please post. There are lots and lots of tugs in Louisiana and nothing to push around.

The BeePee guy is well known and many watch his videos. This one is from two weeks ago and the screen shows "Biological Survey"

BeePee said he saw a screen earlier in the day titled "Serpent Survey" and states that this vid is showing us another "blob" which appears to be living.

[link to www.youtube.com]

I have not watched many of the BP cams, but BeePee points out one significant change which is quite noticeable from several weeks ago. The white "bugs" which dart about are growing much larger.

There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!

NoOne wants to talk about Thunder Horse in connection with the oil spill:

"February 08, 2010
A serpent under Thunder Horse

No such thing as monsters you say? Some researchers borrowing remotely controlled deepsea submarines from oil and gas companies spotted a rare 15-foot-long oar fish under the Thunder Horse platform in the Gulf of Mexico, according to the BBC (with video):

Mark Benfield from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, US was undertaking a survey as part of the Serpent project, a collaboration between marine scientists and energy companies such as BP, Shell, Chevron and Petrobras working in the Gulf of Mexico."

Following a meeting at the 2004 Oceanology, Kongsberg showcased their underwater camera products and some images taken during SERPENT missions. The images were a real hit, and the camera group decided to become project partners. The relationship explores using Kongsberg camera technology on SERPENT missions to provide valuable educational output and stunning visuals for the project. This partnership demonstrates the dynamic nature of SERPENT reflected in our range of partners and their businesses. We use Kongsberg cameras to obtain the majority of our deep-water images.

Gulf SERPENT, Gulf of Mexico (Gulf) SERPENT, is coordinated within the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at Louisiana State University (LSU). This project began with funding from NOAA's Office of Ocean Exploration. The project is currently funded by a three year grant from the Minerals Management Service, U.S. Department of the Interior with in-kind match provided by BP.

OceanLab, Aberdeen University have been close friends and colleagues of the DEEPSEAS group at NOCS for many years, and now under the SERPENT project provide an invaluable extension to the project based in Aberdeen. Oceanlab have a great deal of expertise in Lander and remote technology, through which we will explore collaborative research into the most complex of deep-sea science questions.

Offshore Energy Center, The Offshore Energy Center (OEC), Houston, is dedicated to expand the awareness of the vast energy resources beneath the world's oceans

Smithsonian Institution

Society for Underwater Technology, based in London is an international society that has many members in both science and industry

Texas A & M University, The deep-sea research group at Texas A&M have been involved in deep-sea work in the Gulf of Mexico since the early 1970’s! Through group leader, Professor Gil Rowe and his team at A & M, research has been made into the benthic biology of the most complex and interesting areas of this area of intense oil and gas exploration. Texas A & M also host a BP Biodiversity Fellow, and it is through this connection that the group became our first overseas academic partners.

Interesting. However given the context in which KremPP is used, and the spelling (not that OP's capitals are that reliable maybe, lol) it seems more to me that it is a person representing the Kremlin, who is either aboard the PP (Pourquoi Pas), or is relaying messages through the PP from Russia.
