well, i called my german embassy here in Canada once on a sunday and they worked... i think that the embassies are open or at least someone is there 24/7....
And I say it again, if u don't agree or like whats going on here then leave...

Regular opening hours of the Consular section are as follows:

Monday through Friday 9.00 a.m. to noon

Please do your research before posting not valid information. Call them now, THEY ARE CLOSED. You will get a person it is not the embassy it is a place to leave a message so they call you back on Monday.

As important as the fact that the Embassies are closed on weekends and not manned, no one will do the research.

nice, nice, but i have a phone # here that brings me 24/7 to a staff member of the embassy, and its not the number on their website, i would post it here so you could call this lady there, but i think thats not your business.... I for myself know that i can reach 24/7 someone there.... and no its no callcenter... so whatever this website says, if u got the right number and know the right persons you will reach the embassy 24/7

I know for a fact, I dealt with the Canadian Embassy in Cyprus and they where closed on weekends and they give you an emergency number to be able to reach them. BUT THEY ARE CLOSED

And that is another red flag that OP says his g/f works on the weekend. And didn't he say that she worked at the French Embassy. Well there is no French Embassy in France.As there is no Canadian Embassy in Canada and so on and so on...
