Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

I'm the A/C who wants to keep "facts" straight as revealed to us by OP. The reason for this is that I keep a storyline running in my own head about the truth of happenings in the Gulf which story is based on media reports, research, witness accounts and OP's posts. When material from one source is in conflict with another, my storyline falls apart. I then decide which material should be rejected.

C/P below is Kryspy's explanation from his OP POSTS thread that the organism forms the cavities. I don't recall that this is the case according to OP, but rather, that the organism creates a crater in the seabed which becomes the base of the vertical columns.

It is important that we do not confuse the source of the cavities in the floor of the ocean. All evidence so far, makes it appear that these are the crack(s) in the sea bed referred to by Matt Simmons, which were caused by the BP drilling rig(s).

Unless we can show otherwise, the cavity(s) are a direct result of the oil-drilling process, and occurred prior to February 13th.

Seems strange. They claim its an annual phenomenon, but because this time it is lots more, they are speculating it might be from a passing tanker 'mischievously dumping' it.

It would appear that BP is closing down viewing of the undersea cams. I find this disconcertng as we all know they are still down there doing their whatevers. Too bad the "transparency" did not extend beyond the placement of the new bop on well A or B (whichever one it actually was).

This bummer was to be expected; however, since you are from The Great White North, I'll call Ed Markey tomorrow and bitch at his staff on our collective behalf. Sometimes that works, if enough people call.

We may have the explanation for the underwater "plumes" of oil which stretch for miles below the surface of GOM water.

Research study comparing Corexit 9500 with biosurfacant rhamnolipid shows that Corexit is more effective with dispersing oil into the water, but primarily because Corexit 9500 contains three surfactants.

The study finds that neither the rhamnolipid medium, nor Corexit work well at low temperatures.

Based on this finding, it is reasonable to suggest that Corexit only disburses the oil into the water, until the water temperature is low enough that the Corexit is not an effective dispersant. (Conclusions, p 4. [link to docs.google.com] )

Logically, we can further suggest, based on OP's posts, below the oil plume the new organism maneuvers freely within its vertical columns in the cold water. Once the columns reach the oil plume, the organism is able to scatter among the oil particles and become horizonal within the oil plume.

Pretty much, indicators are that this thing is gonna go where the oil goes. Remember that any oil which has not been burned, or siphoned off, if still there... millions of barrels of oil, mixed with a micro-organism which, so far, seems that it may have negative effects on humans.

If BP is downunder with the cams going, we need the view. Totally and completely unacceptable that we should be cut from this source, as manipulated as it is.
