I have to post this first...then I will go find that video...

I found this when questioning how deep we'd find barnacles...
because I thought some of that covering looked like barnacles...??

... Inside its hard shell, the barnacle has a soft, shrimp-like body. ... They are found from tide pools to water 5000 feet deep and are our most ...

Did any of you guys watch that video from beepee guy that showed the creature checking out that cage?? It was posted back a few pages here...then it looked as though it was swimming around in front of the camera? Remember it had what looked like long tendril like legs...and a flat body...well, on this picture here, do you see that flat looking thing on one side with that tendril looking thing that goes up the side there?? doesn't that look similar? It does to me...let me go back and grab the video and post it again...

Good gurl, Breezy! But, I think this thing has a totally different texture and color.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
at my girlfriends Weekly Wednesday embassy meeting there was a topic discussed on the agenda which have direct bearing on our discussion. at the meeting a document delivered by A US Naval Attaché was discussed. The briefing heading said PPOG. basically it said that the US Navy has reactivated PPOG and that is why Missouri didn't follow the Paris protocol. The US Navy will still take action(coup) if massive and forced evacuations or martial law is called in and around the GOM theatre. They intend to block the white house. The army and marines are overstretched and far away to effectively counter a sudden full scale coup by the navy. The coast guard has confirmed that they will side with the navy. The Navy only expects limited compliance and even mutiny by the national guard when Obama gives the order for FORCED evacuations. Their main concern is the Us Air force. The problem is that some odessa members do not feel comfortable with the proposed new leadership of PPOG or its initiative. There is general mistrust. Everyone is worried.

Sorry if my copy and paste skills are lacking. My seventeen year old son is unavailable. Clearly this may be far-fetched. However, it DOES answer the issue of "FORCED" evacuations in OP's latest post. Also, those of you who are familiar with the video of the Masonic Compass being represented (overlaying a map of the USA) in the connected dots of past "tragic events" will remember that the one uncompleted line ends in Miami. More food for thought. If any one needs the site with the video I'm referring to, let me know

Damn Is the DD@ camera inside the BOP?

BeePeeGuy is saying something is really different about this BOP and that it doesn't seem to be for oil work. Has compartments, or sections and a lot of piping to small for the industry. Five stories tall.

...but upon reading BOP stuff, they ARE that tall. Not disputing diGGer, but BOPs are large contraptions.
 Quoting: Magstar

Apology, I didn't phrase properly. diGGer was saying five stories of piping too small for oil industry, plus appeared to have compartments at different levels and that he'd never seen this in a BOP.

Development driller rov 2 is doing a biological survey. They just had a really strange white creature on that undulated to move through the water.
 Quoting: Housedad
September 8, 2010

DD2 is currently on the bop, according to Thad Allen. I snipped a lot of this but left what I thought was pertinent:

10:30 a.m. CDT

Admiral Thad Allen: Good morning. A couple of updates, and I'd be glad to take your questions.
snip

Operator: Your next question comes from the line of Thomas Davis with dailykos.com.

Question: Thank you, Admiral, for taking my call. I have a couple of questions on some feeds and one specific question on the upper annular intercept. Who will be doing the upper annular intercept? Will that be DDII milling through the casing? And are we going to be able to get a feed back for the upper moon pool on deck of the Q4000 so we can see the Blow Out Preventer being moved? And also, will we be getting a casing camera feed* when they go in with the DDII.

snip

Regarding the perforation of the casing, that will be done by Development Driller II, which is currently latched on to the Blow Out Preventer with the riser pipe.
snip

Operator: Your next question will come from the line of Mark Chediak with Bloomberg News.

Question: Admiral Allen, a couple of questions here. So the intercept of the top of the casing and the bottom of the casing will be performed by two different drillers, is that correct?

Admiral Allen: No.

Question: Oh, okay (inaudible).

Admiral Allen: Development Driller II is the name of the rig that's over the well right now.

Question: Okay.

Admiral Allen: And Development Driller II – I'm sorry, excuse me. Let me correct myself here. Development Driller II that is over the rig right now would do the perforation and the cementing of the annulus above the current cement that is in the well.

Admiral Allen: The first part will be done from the top of the cement that's currently in the well. The second will be done at the annulus down near the reservoir itself. That'll be done in sequence. The top one will be done first; the bottom one will be done second. The top one will be done with Development Driller II that's currently over the well and latched on to the BOP. The bottom portion or the second portion will be done by executing the intercept, the relief well, and then cementing it from the bottom up.

So the two-part process will involve Development Driller II doing the top and Development Driller III doing the bottom, and it will be done in sequence. Is that more understandable?
snip
So they can go down through the well and perforate the casing above the cement and actually cement in the annulus from the top, because they're already there and available to do it. And then shortly thereafter, we will finish the relief well from the bottom with Development Driller III, which was always drilling the first relief well, and they'll do it on the bottom.

It's just a one-two punch. Punch one is from Development Driller II from the top. Punch two will be Development Driller III from the bottom. And the reason they're taking this measured approach in sequence is, these are things they'd have to do with – to plug and abandon the well anyway. And since there's no threat of discharge right now, they're trying to bring two processes together, which is secure the well and finish the relief well, but also do the plugging and abandonment that's required by the Department of Interior. Is that more clear?

Question: Okay, yes, sir. So with the DD2, they'd be able to go down from the top and perforate the casing that way, kind of like laser surgery or something, but they don't have to go in from the side?

Admiral Allen: Correct. What they do is they actually go down – they put the device at the end of the drill string. They will go down just above the cement that's already in the well. Behind that drill string, there will be a seal that protects the rest of the well going up, and they'll basically blow out the two sides of the casing and then basically cement it from there.

Question: Okay, thank you so much.

Thad Allen: Just for everybody's information, since Development Driller II is already there, they're latched up to the Blow Out Preventer. What you have is the means to do the top and the bottom almost at the same time. To move forward with the plugging and abandonment would have to be done anyway, so they're going to phase these things, where they do the top first and the bottom second. Thank you.

*It is not clear at this time if a camera will be required to facilitate the work being done in that area.

DD2 is on the bop:

A at W weekly (should not have a capital) A at Beginning of next sentence.... both were the first word in a sentence and should have been capitalized..OK?? So it's a combination of what should have, and should not have had capitals...Could I be wrong...yep..sure could...but that was just the way I saw it...breezy...and that was me, forgot to sign in again...(sharing computer, and someone interrupted me)..

Good morning Krispy;
A little explanation here since I once thought the problem was just me.
THE RULES FOR CAPITALIZATION ARE DIFFERENT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
It is not normally an issue, I just let people think I am illiterate, but when one is watching capitals it can make a difference.
Easy to miss if English is not first language.
