Jay Zwally, ICESat's project scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., said "ICESat has been a tremendous scientific success. It has provided detailed information on how the Earth's polar ice masses are changing with climate warming, as needed for government policy decisions."

We've had a number of articles about the natural status of microbes that eat oil. The USA Today article has been mentioned here a couple times before, just as Kryspy said.

The part missed in the linked story by USA Today is that this previously unclassified species of microbe not only eats the oil, but stainless steel pipes, plastic and God only knows what else.

In other words, USA Today is another lying msm piece-of-trash rag putting out deliberately misleading information about the true facts of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Somewhere on GLP today...another thread talked about a fleet of UFOs being tracked...that's what the Japanese satellites allude to. Unfortunately couldn't tell when the sat pics were taken (they were posted on Aug 30, 2010) but doesn't necessarily mean it's the date of the pics.
