Wasn't it NORAD which allowed "planes" to fly into buildings on 9 and 11, without a US Air Force escort?
Now, we're to have extraterrestrial vehicles to hover for hours over principal cities. With that much time, perhaps NORAD can find them.
there was a documentary on British TV last Saturday, possibly on Channel 4, about 9-11, it was all the usual stuff we've heard before; but there was a couple of points i had not heard before, which may or may not be bullshit, one was that when the air force was scrambled, their first reaction was to fly out into the Atlantic to intercept Russian bombers before they realised the attack was coming from inside America (it was suggested that this indicated that the American military was still stuck in cold war thinking); the second point made was that the radar systems of NORAD and the civilian aviation authorities were completely incompatible, NORAD simply hadn't a clue where the missing aircraft were.
Like i said, it could be bullshit, but some of it rings true because we all like to think the military of our respective countries are super efficient and do everything they set out to do, when the reality is they are just as capapble as the rest of us of making a dog's dinner out of a simple job.

CNN had the pentagon "plane" on screen but the Air Force didn't. It was US Naval Intelligence headquarters taken out when the missile hit (painted to look like an American Airlines flight.)
This is the biggest reason we've seen the split in military and the possibility of a coup, which imo was attempted during the Bush/Cheney administration, but was not successful.
OP is very believable with reports of a potential coup in the US by the Navy.
