...........

Just have a look at the shapes in the illustration in this link : [link to pubs.rsc.org]

-Question 1:
If this tech is known WHY DID THEY USE ALL THOSE LETHAL STUFFS ????
-Question 2:
Are they using the golden AU-goose or is this a AU-egg ??
(whats first the goose or the egg?)
-Question 3:
Is this good or is this bad ...

Can some1 please have a good look at this PDF ?

Green synthesis of 1–2 nm gold nanoparticles stabilized by
amine-terminated ionic liquid and their electrocatalytic activity in oxygen reduction†

[link to 202.98.16.39]
(alternative link : [link to docs.google.com] )
snip:
An established method for generating 1–3 nm gold nanoparticles is reduction of AuCl4 − by sodium borohydride in the presence of an alkanethiol in water–toluene biphasic reaction systems. While the resulting nanoparticles are very stable, the reagents are hazardous. A “greener” route, reduction by citrate in water, yields particles of
only limited stability
.

>>> Unstable AU ???? .... by the old methode.

The new methode should give stable AU and better resulting.
Please read it if you can chew it ...lol... and say what you think.

Considering all the material we've covered in this thread, there has never been anything that can suggest to us other than BP is attempting to kill the morphing micro-organism which eats through steel and plastics.

BP could have emulsified the oil with a much less lethal dispersant and gotten the similar sediment factors.

We now have some support for OP's report that there is a radioactive issue with the GOM. The US government has been very quiet on the Gulf issue, except to endorse BP's actions.

There must be some extraordinary reason that BP and the government would deliberately endanger the lives of so many people by using a lethal dispersant, when other options are available.
